I wake up slowly. Something felt good and I roll over looking for my blanket. I see posh carpet. I sit up and wonder where I am. Those monsters! They must have taken me somewhere. Which means...
"ASRIEL!" I yell. Oh gods. If they hurt him, I'm going to destroy this whole place! Speaking of which, where am I? I get up and start to bolt around, screaming my little brothers name. I wasn't going to lose anyone else. Suddenly, I run into someone.
"Ow," they said. I look up and see a blue hedgehog with emerald eyes. I grab him and lift him up.
"What the he-"
"Where is he?" I demand, "where is my brother."
"Calm down! I don't know anything!" He yells. I growl. "Sheesh Rhion, when you're mad you-." He cover his mouth.
"How do you know my name?"
"Look would you mind putting me down please?"
"Promise you won't hurt me or my brother when I find him?"
"Promise." I put him down. I took a second glance at him. His fur was spiked almost exactly like Sonic's. The cocky look he's giving me, his voice, he knows my name...
"Sonic?" I ask skeptically. He sighs.
"Thanks goodness you recognize me."
"How the heck-" I was interrupted by a scream coming from the other room.
"Asriel!"
"Rhion wait-" I dash into the next room. A giant thing has Asriel in his hands. It's large and appeared to have weapons around its neck. It has a single eye and had purple... skin? I don't know. Two horns on its head and some big teeth. The door shut behind Sonic as he came in.
"Great! Now we're trapped."
"Can't we get out?" I asked. Sonic shakes his head.
"Not until we take out that Hinox."
"Hinox?"
"Long story. Point is, go for the eye!" He curls up into a ball and started spinning at high speeds. He launched himself at the giant monster. He didn't get the eye, but he did knock it down on its but, making the weapons land on the ground. I picked up a sword that dropped. I swung it around at the thing. It got up and tried to stomp on me.
"Watch out!" Sonic yelled. I focused my energy around me. Bones came out of the ground as the Hinox smashed into them. It grabbed its foot and fell, dropping Asriel in the process.
"Get back!" I yelled. Asriel ran over to Sonic as I summoned a blaster. I blasted it right in the eye. When dust cleared, it was gone. I fainted.

"R...i....Rh...io...Rhion!" Someone shouted my name. I open my eyes suddenly.
"Easy now," the voice soothed. Zelda's over me. She's wearing a light blue long sleeve shirt with a strange medal in the middle of three triangles, brown pants and boots.
"Zelda?" I ask. "What's going on? Where's Asriel and Sonic?"
"Right here," Sonic replies from across the room. Asriel is by him, along with a orange fox with electric blue eyes. Asriel runs over and hops on my stomach.
"Don't you ever scare me like that again!" Asriel says. "You could have died!" I laugh.
"Guess I haven't used that move in a while.
"Speaking of which," Sonic intervenes, "what was that? It took out the Hinox in a single blast!"
"I need answers first!" I say angrily, "where are we? Why are you a hedgehog? What was that thing?"
"Rhion stop!" Asriel shouts. I look in my hands and a glowing bone was hovering over them.
"Sorry, that happens when I'm mad." It disappears as I speak.
"Once Minda and Rosalina get back we'll explain," Zelda answers sweetly.
"They're here too?" Asriel asks excitedly. Zelda nods. The fox comes over to me.
"I'm Asriel's friend Miles, but please call me Tails." He extends a hand and I shake it.
"Nice to meet you Tails." He smiles joyfully. The door suddenly opens. I recognize Rosalina immediately and with her is a small imp, black with green markings on her arms.
"Glad to see you awake Rhion," Rosalina says, "how do you feel?"
"Tired." She nods.
"Magic will do that to you," the imp, who I'm assuming is Midna, answers.
"So, explanation please?" I ask trying not to lose my cool again.
"Well, we are in the Dark House," Tails explains, "it's a large manor with one hundred floors."
"One hundred?!" Asriel exclaims.
"Yep and they're all filled to the brim with monsters. Every five floors has a boss like the one you fought."
"The Hinox," I say remembering its name.
"Every ten floors has a tougher boss."
"So how do we get out of here?"
"That's the thing, until we beat the 100th floor, we will be transported every night."
"All of us?" Tails nods. I'm silent for a second. "What floor are we on?"
"That was the 25th floor you just beat. So, 26th."
"How can we be useful? I can't hurt a single person."
"Are you kidding me?" Sonic exclaimed. "You just blasted that Hinox faster than all of us working together could!" I look at my hands.
"I can't control my power well, a-and Asriel! He doesn't even know how to fight! Besides with a fake gun, he doesn't have-." I'm cut off by a glow coming from Asriel. He is surrounded by a rainbow light. His eyes opened suddenly, followed by a blast of thunder shot to the empty couch. He falls backwards. Tails and I dash over to help him.
"Looks to me he has all the magic he wants," Rosalina says as we put him on the couch.
"I-"
"Look Rhion, if you both are here, there has to be a good reason," Zelda interrupts, "all of our abilities are needed to continue. I don't know what will happen if we continue to stay and do nothing, but we have to get to the top. Please?"

It's the Friday after the first day of school. I knock on the door to Sonic and Tails's home. They invited us over for a party to celebrate the first week of school. Asriel, in his human form, fidgets next to me. Sonic opens the door.
"Hey! Glad you two could make it!" He has a controller in one hand. As we go in, Asriel changes back. The house is actually very organized and big. A tv against one wall with a couch, a kitchen, equipped with everything needed, a staircase going up and down.
"It's bigger on the inside," Asriel whisper making me laugh. Tails pops his head up from a basement.
"Come on down." He goes back down. The basement has a another tv, this one wide screen, with several consoles set up, a coffee table with two 3Ds, and a about four selfs, one for games, movies, books, and photos. I whistle.
"You guys are set aren't you?"
"Yea," Sonic answers, "Tails built the shelves and the table. I bought the consoles and everything else. Rose and Zelda should be here soon."
"Where's Midna?" Asriel asks. At that moment, black particles began to form behind Tails.
"Boo!" Midna appears, making Tails scream and jump several feet in the air.
"Really Mid?!" He yells. We all laugh. The doorbell goes off.
"I'll get it," Sonic says, running up stairs at high speeds.
"How are you two doing?" Tails asks. This is the first time since the first night we've gotten a chance to talk.
"Alright," I answer, "I thought I was done with all this but I guess not."
"What do you mean-."
"Pizza delivery!" Sonic shouts running back downstairs followed by Zelda and Rosalina. Rosalina has a huge bag probably with pizza, wings and breadsticks.
"Let's play!"

Somewhere else...
A man in a black coat walks to meet with his master. He turns a corner to see someone in a brown cloak. The man could just see a batch of red hair.
"Didn't think you'd actually show up, Zant," the man says in a thick evil voice. The man turns to the black coated one. They begin to walk.
"The girl and her brother entered Monday," Zant replied, in a grating voice. His master laughed.
"I'm assuming they met the others."
"Indeed. Asriel used a chaos blast in the safe room." Again, laughter.
"They are growing stronger. If I had captured them when I had the chance- never mind. Failure in the past means nothing. All we can do is wait."
"Wait?"
"They will grow stronger. That will be a tactical advantage for us."
