"Shift." He growled. I could feel the threat in that one word, but I refused. I wouldn't let them know I was different. Even if it meant that I had to die for it, I refused.

"So? You're going to disobey me? You're a Rouge she wolf, and you're no longer an Alpha. Don't think that just because you're Alpha blood that I'm going to let you go. Or do you think I won't kill you because you're my mate?" He growled at me and grabbed me by the scuff of my neck. He tossed me effortlessly at the male from earlier.

"Take her to the dungeons. Make sure she's not in silver. Try and make her shift back into human form. I have something more important to deal with than her." He said to the male and shifted quickly into a golden brown wolf and sprinted off the way he came. It was only then that I noticed that all of the other wolves had left as well.

I looked back to the male before me.

"Hey, don't worry about him, okay? He can be a bitch, I know, but he just believes in justice a bit to much. Anyway, my name is Tyler! It's nice to meet you!" He smiled wide, his teeth showing, but not in a threatening way. He was actually very kind in his nature so far. He hasn't tried killing me yet, so that's always a big plus.

"Listen, I know how Alpha's are with pride. I also know that if you shift back that it'll be better for you. It doesn't matter to me either way. However, another thing you need to know is that he doesn't punish us for something you do. He punishes you. This is not a threat, but I'm just making sure you know. I'm really sorry if it seemed like I was threatening you though...." He faded off at the end and looked at me. His face was flushed in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry. I, uh, I get carried away sometimes." Skylar smiles at his adorableness.

Mel, I'm going to let you take over. His wolf has no intention to hurt us.

No! He'll know what we are!

Don't worry Mel. He won't tell the Alpha.

With those words she let me have my body back, and I shifted to human form. Tyler, as he called himself, stood in front of me with a red face, clearly confused.

"Umm, wow. You're really pretty. I've never seen someone with silver hair before." He smiled at me while lowering his head. He must've realized something, however, because he snapped his head back up to look at me.

"Wait? How," he pointed down at my clothed body, "how did you shift with clothes on? That can only mean one thing. You're a Winterheart werewolf? Wow! I've never met another one! This is so exciting!" I wondered what he meant by, "another one," but I couldn't worry about that now because he started clapping, and then he grabbed my hand lightly. He began sprinting in the direction of what I was guessing to be the dungeons. The pain in my shoulder was growing, and I could tell that even with super human healing it was going to hurt for a while.

He gently pulled me with him and sooner or later I could smell blood. I knew we were getting closer to the dungeons and I dreaded it, but I couldn't do anything about it. I let Tyler pull me into a door that came up from the ground. He put his arm around my waist to help me down a huge set of stairs. At the bottom it was almost pitch black except for a few lights that were on in certain cells.

He pulled me to one of the cells towards the back. I waited as he pulled a door open while giving me a sympathetic look. I willingly walked in and sat down to be chained up. I could tell that Tyler felt bad for me as he did as he was told. Thankfully, he made sure I wasn't in silver on the Alpha's requests. I had short chains around my legs, that gave me a small space to walk in. Then longer chains were clamped onto my arms. Tyler looked sad as he left the cell and shut the door behind him. He pulled out a key to lock it.

"I'm sorry, um... I-I don't know your name." I had my head down, but I could still see him, as I smiled at his childishness. Even in a situation like this, he somehow gave me happiness to know that there's still some innocent people out there.

"Melynie. Spelled M-e-l-y-n-i-e. Incase you find a trivia book about me." He laughed and smiled brightly.

"Your voice is so pretty as well! I wish I was your mate..." He said before frowning again. He put his head down.

"I'm sorry Melynie. I just hope he understands the situation, whatever it may be."

"Thanks Tyler." He smiled again and waved shyly before backing out.

I could tell that this was going to be a long night.
