Y/n felt pain in his chest, in his arms, and his mind. Chomei was also in pain, what Shukaku said is true, Y/n isn't the only host.

It would explain everything to Y/n. He realizes that he isn't as strong compared to Naruto, or with his healing factor. When Naruto come over and ask Y/n to heal him, he saw no wounds, while during the Land of the Waves he was still unconscious with a hole in his stomach.

'Chomei, what do we do?'

"...We need Naruto."

'Naruto?! He's afraid of him!'

"I know, but when he saw you in battle he changes."

"So, this is my butterfly's mindscape ~?"

Y/n gasped as he sees that he was in his mindscape. "W-What the-?!" He looks around as he suddenly sees sand around him.

"Y/n?" He turned around and see Chomei. "My love~" Y/n froze as he hears the wind and the sand prickling him.

He turns around but sees a human or a man. They have long spiky blond hair with similar glowing eyes, "Sh-Shukaku? How-?"

"It's because of us." Y/n turn to see Chomei, "We aren't completely one. I have someone else as the vessel for my other half."

Y/n's eyes widen as he understands what Chomei is saying because they have two separate Jinchūriki which means they don't have all the strength like Naruto or Panda. "But how is he able to get in here?"

"My Desert Rose," Y/n felt something pulling him by the waist as he turns to see Shukaku. "I can come in because of the Kage that seals my sibling into two people. You're not strong enough to where I can come in and now have you to the mind and body."

Y/n's hands were slightly shaking. Suddenly he felt something pulling him away as he felt something against him. He looks up to see now Chomei only in a human body appearance, "Get away from him Shukaku."

"So now my sibling is trying to take away my Y/n," Shukaku growls as Chomei glares hard at him.

"Your Y/n? He's mine, my partner, my vessel, if you think just because I don't have all my powers that I won't stop you then you're out of your mother fucking mind!"

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Y/n gasps as he was out of the mindscape. A large smoke came as it shows a giant toad.

'I will protect...' A blonde boy was on top of the toad as he stares at Shukaku, "Y/n!"

'Naruto...' Y/n stared at Naruto as his eyes widen. 'How did you...Amazing...'

"What is this?" The toad spoke as Naruto was confused, "Huh?"

"Not you again!" The toad complained. "What in the world do you want? Huh?"

They notice Shukaku as well as Y/n. 'That must be...the Shukaku of the Sand. But who's the kids and why is Shukaku holding them?'

"Chief Toad!" Naruto smirks, "Come join me in this fight!"

"...Take a hike" Chief Toad answers.

"What?!" Naruto demanded angrily.

"Why would I go out of my way and fight a guy like that? That's idiotic!"

"Why?!" Naruto yells back, "you told me the other day that you would make me your henchman! It's only natural for the chief to help out his henchman! That's respect and duty, right?!"

"It's true I told you I'd make you my henchman..." The Toad replied. "But we haven't even exchanged cups of sake to seal our relationship yet..."

"Gimme a break! I'm still underage! I can't drink alcohol!" Naruto was taken back before shouting.

"Don't say that and just listen to what this guy says, Pop!" An orange toad jumps on Naruto's head.

"Huh?! Pop?!" Naruto confusedly repeated.

"Why are you here, Gamakichi?" The Chief Toad demanded.

"I had lots of time on my hands, so I came to visit..." Gamakichi shrugs their shoulders.

"Huh? Huh?" Naruto wants some answers as he looks at Gamakichi and the Chief Toad, "Your father and son?"

"Then that guy over there tried to bully me!" Gamakichi points at Shukaku.

"What was that?!" The Chief's eyes narrow as Y/n shivers, 'Oh no, father mode...'

"When that happened, this guy here rescued me..." Gamakichi replied as he looks at Naruto, "He clashed with that monster...Pretty interesting guy."

"I see..." Chief grumbles, "Kid...I recognize you as my henchman...and I'll show you what duty and respect mean!"

"Haku!" Naruto shouted, "Take Sasuke and get out of here!"

The two of them exchange looks as Haku nodded. He picks up Sasuke before looking at Naruto as he was about to leave, "Make sure you bring him back!"

The chief went silent as the two animals stare at one another. Naruto look at Shukaku before looking at Y/n who was trying to have the grip loosen up.

"I'll make you pay the price good and proper, you underling!" He jumped in Shukaku's direction, making Naruto fall back as he almost falls off of the chief's body.

"Hang on tight!" Once they approach, he uses his sword as it sliced the arm that was holding Y/n, "How's that!"

"Y/n!" Naruto yells as he catches the fallen butterfly, "Are you okay?! Did they hurt you?!"

"Just let me catch my breath." Y/n smiles as he winced a bit, "Their grip was tight...too big for me to handle."

"Please...be careful." Y/n smiles as Naruto chuckles, "Hey what are you talking about? With you with me, I won't lose to something like that!"

Naruto's eyes widen as he quickly looks where Sakura once was. "Hey! Hey! Chief! Sakura is over that way, so don't move that way!"

"It's okay." Y/n spoke as Naruto turns to him, "I've already moved her to a safe location. Before you come back."

"Thanks, Y/n." Naruto sighs in relief.

"Y/n?" Chief toad asks.

Naruto froze as he realizes that he mentioned their name more than once. His face was heating up as he was trying to come up with something.

"It's his boyfriend," Gamakichi chimed in. "Right kid?"

"I've got to take that guy down." Naruto wondered out loud, ignoring the small toad's question.

"How dare you! How dare you take him from me!" The tail beast roars as both Naruto and Y/n caught something on their forehead.

Something was appearing out of it as it was Gaara. He looked unconscious as both leaf shinobis were confused by the sudden move. 

"Huh...? That is..."

"Panda...?"

"That's...the medium...?" Chief toad wondered out loud. "The circles under his eyes...Those are symptoms of insomnia which indicate that the medium is also possessed by the Shukaku of the Sand."

"Insomnia?" Naruto asks.

"It's a sleep disorder where people would have trouble falling or staying asleep. The condition can be short-term or can last a long time." Y/n answers.

"Those who are possessed by the Demon Raccoon Shukaku are unable to sleep soundly through the entire night." Chief toad explains, "Because of the terror...If one sleeps, Shukaku will slowly eat away at their personality, and eventually, that person is no longer himself. Since he normally doesn't get much sleep...the medium's personality tends to...become unstable."

'So... does that mean...Panda's personality isn't like this?' Y/n question as he looks at the unconscious body.

"Therefore, usually while the medium is awake, the power of Shukaku is normally controlled. However...when the medium sleeps..."

"Then Shukaku will be free," Y/n concluded. He could still feel the gaze being set on him as if a wild animal is hungry or a person who found something that they don't want to let go of.

"Okay, what should we do?" Naruto asks loudly as the Chief toad suddenly dodges Shukaku's Air Bullets.

"For a start, wake up that medium kid!" Chief toad answers, "It will release that Jutsu!"

Naruto and Y/n froze at the answer as it was obvious to them, but the real question was how. "How do we go about waking him?!" Naruto asks.

"Give him a good punch!"

Shukaku releases his Air Bullet technique as the Chief toad quickly counters by releasing his Liquid Bullet. "Like I'll take that!" Shukaku dodges but because of the collision of their attack, it blinded him as Chief toad was able to grab their shoulders.

"Now!"

Naruto was about to go but Chief toad lost his hold and quickly jumped away. "Chief, I can't hit him unless you hold him down!"

"This Toad doesn't have fangs or claws to hold that guy's movement." Chief toad groans as he merely realizes his flaws.

"What should we do then?!" Naruto demanded.

"You can't hide him from me," Shukaku roars. "No matter how you fight me, nothing will stop me from having him!"

Naruto clenches his teeth as he already knows what the Sand Raccoon is talking about. 

"Transformation Jutsu!" Y/n blurted out causing Naruto to turn in confusion. "If you use the Transformation Jutsu, then you can change him into something that had claws or something that can grab him!"

"Yes, that's a good plan." Chief toad complimented. "However...I'm not particularly good at transformations."

"Huh?!" Naruto and Y/n eyes widen.

"So you will act as my will and make the sign!"

"Whaaaaat?!"

"Time for a combined transformation!"

"Uh...Okay!" Naruto quickly stood up as he understood most of what's been told.

"We got to have fangs and claws!" Chief toad instructed.

"F-Fangs and claws...Fangs and claws...Fangs and claws!" Naruto repeated as the Chief toad charges at Shukaku. Looking at Shukaku made something click to Naruto, 'That's it!'

The fox inside of him like the beast themselves was shocking. Like what Chomei said to Y/n they have been with each other ever since they were in their baby state.

They know that Shukaku developed hatred towards humankind that can rival the nine tails fox. Sealed after sealed Shukaku had never been what he once was before, causing chaos throughout villages.

His sadistic laughter that'll be heard throughout villages as he kills humans over, and over, and over. The scene will make people believe that it's a mere sport for them.

But it ended when they sealed into the red hair boy.

And now this new event.

The fox themselves is in a mixed emotional state. Confusion, anger, they couldn't pick out what they were feeling.

Seeing how Shukaku, the same tailed beast that has a strong hatred towards humankind is taking interest in a human-made them question so many things. Is this the Shukaku that they know?

But more importantly why is it that they too have weird emotions towards the human?

The suddenly feels that he wants to stop Shukaku and protect the butterfly. Almost like a desire that they never felt before.

There were times that they've seen the butterfly, but it meant nothing. However, when time passes and the butterfly start to grow, the feeling started to hit them. It was only when they hug Naruto that made the feelings started to erupt.

When they start seeing the butterfly through Naruto, they couldn't help but admit that they were interested. Seeing how the butterfly operates to things, how they look harmless from their interaction and their words, to quickly change once they're in any shape of battle.

They could see why their host has developed feelings toward them. In a way, they feel the same, only that it feels more...deep.

'Just this once.'

"Transform Jutsu!"

Smoke erupted as it was covering the toad's body. Y/n look down as both he and Chomei was in shock.

'That's the!?/Holly Shi-?!'

The toad was now a fox with red-orange fur as they have a total of nine tails. 'Kurama...' Y/n was feeling the fur as something was going through his head.

They were dodging multiple Air Bullets as it was clear that the Chief was getting annoyed. "Darn it! His power is increasing more and more!"

"Chief! We got to hurry up and rouse that guy out of his sleep!" Naruto stated.

"I know that!"

"Go to hell!" Shukaku yells as he launches another Air Bullet. Chief toad acted fast as he throws some trees as it countered.

It give them enough time as they were now close enough. Making extra percussion, the Chief toad dogged their claws into Shukaku.

"All right! Now!"

Naruto and Y/n jumped out as they were in front of Shukaku and Gaara. Y/n was exhausted but he had enough to make the jump and deliver a blow.

"Wake the hell up!"

Naruto and Y/n punched Gaara's face which made the body spit out some blood. Shukaku's eyes started to dull, making them take notice that Gaara is about to wake up.

Both Shinobi were shaking as they look to see the Chief toad still trying to hold on to Shukaku's body.

"He's still putting on pressure?" Y/n turned to see that Gaara was now awake.

"Y-Y/n?"

Naruto run towards Gaara as Y/n froze. Gaara quickly turns toward Naruto as it almost looks like his personality switched.

"Sand Coffin!"

Naruto's feet were getting sunk into the sand as it made him remember the match with Lee. However, something was pulling Naruto off of his feet as he look back to see Y/n pulling Naruto out as they both dodged the sand.

"Don't take me for a fool!" Gaara yells.

"N-Naruto..." Y/n panted, "I can't keep dodging these sands much longer! Just tell me when to let...go!"

Y/n continued to hold Naruto as he continues to dodge the multiple sand attacks. Some that were getting too close to him as he managed to twist his body so he dodge them.

"So pathetic! To be protected by my Y/n-Rose, when he shouldn't be putting so much effort! I will kill you!" Gaara glared at Naruto.

'I've to hurry up and stop that Demon Raccoon...' Naruto thought to himself. 'Please...Just a small amount is fine...Give me...'

Y/n's legs were shaking as he tries to go further. However, his time was up as his ankle was caught, 'No!'

He suddenly hears Naruto yelling as he sees his chakra rising but in a different color. It reminded him of the time that they were at the Land of the Waves.

'I will protect everyone!' Naruto roared in his head.

"Here I come! You idiot raccoon!"

Naruto sprinted towards Gaara as the sand that was holding Y/n let go as it now holds Naruto. It stopped Naruto from delivering a punch however Naruto quickly that of a different solution.

"I've had it with you!"

Naruto headbutted Gaara in the head hard. The damage caused both heads to bleed as Gaara's eyes were all white.

Soon large cracks started to show all around Shukaku as the body was breaking. The body falls apart as everyone started to fall.

The three shinobis landed on top of a tree as they all were exhausted. Y/n pulls himself up as he sees that Gaara and Naruto was staring at one another. 

In some way, they do look the same.

"As might be expected, even I...am empty now..." Naruto spoke out of breath, "You are too, aren't you? We're much alike...let's make this time the last!"

They charged at one another as Naruto got to Gaara first, delivering a punch to the jaw, knocking him back as they both fell to the ground.

Naruto started to crawl towards Gaara, forcing himself to get up. "The pain of...being all alone... is unbearable, isn't it? The way you feel...I don't know why, but I completely understand that it hurts. But I've met people who are very important to me now. I won't allow those important people...to get hurt. If not...I will stop you even if that means...that I have to kill you!"

"Why...?" Gaara could only ask. "How is it that you can fight so much for other people?" 

"They saved me from the hell of being all alone. They accept me for who I was. That's why...they are important to me!"

"Love is a heart that desires to serve a precious person who is close to oneself, to love and watch over that person..."

'Love...That is why he is so strong?' Gaara looks up into the sky.

"That's enough Naruto..."

Naruto looks up to see Sasuke being in front of him. He could also see Haku holding Y/n, wearing his angelic smile.

"Sakura is okay." Sasuke explained, "This guy's Chakra must have been depleted as well...Sakura's sand crumbled a long time ago."

"Oh, I see..." Naruto whispers as he put his head down. He could see Y/n as the butterfly have the fox a smile as it made them feel warm.

Y/n turns towards Gaara who gazed back at him. His smile fell a bit as he slowly walked toward them.

Sasuke went to stop him but Haku grabbed Sasuke as he shook his head. The angelic assassin knows what is about to be seen.

Y/n kneeled to Gaara as his green eyes met with Gaara's teal eyes. The wind blowing was the only thing that could be heard as they both haven't moved.

Slowly Y/n makes the first move as he slowly pulls out his hand, showing his angelic smile once more. Gaara's eyes widen as it almost looks like they were shaking, "Wh-What...?"

"Please..." Y/n whispers as only both him and Gaara can hear.

"After everything..." Gaara's eyes were shining as Y/n could see that they were tears. "Yashamaru...Y/n...Why?"

"I...I want to know the real you. I remind you of someone that makes you feel in pain? Then please, let me be the one to heal you...Can I please touch you...Panda?"

"Y-Yes!" Gaara almost cried as Y/n pulled Gaara into a hug. The scene made it look like the world paused itself, nothing moving but the two of them.

'Love...Is this what Yashamaru means by affection...'

He feels...safe, a word that he never thought that he'll experience. This...This is the true love that he wanted.

He felt something on him more as he see that Y/n was passed out as he was on Gaara's shoulder. Making the world carry on as Temari and Kankuro landed in front of Gaara.

"Stop..." Gaara spoke as the Sand duo turned to him. "But Gaara...?" Kankuro questioned but he realizes that Y/n was passed out on Gaara's shoulder. "Y/n..." Temari whispers.

'I've never seen Gaara in such a weakened state before...' Kankuro gasped in his mind.

"I wish to carry Y/n." Haku's voice was heard as Temari and Kankuro turned to him.

"Of course," Temari answers as Kankuro carries Gaara while Haku carries Y/n.

Like that the battle between Sand and Leaf has concluded.

Seeing Kurama as he glares at Y/n

Y/n: ...

Sprinting toward Kurama and hugging them.

Y/n: It's so fluffy!

Getting on top of Kurama's head

Y/n: So warm!! KAWAII!!!

Kurama blinks as they process what's happening.

Kurama: ...You tell anyone I'll kill you (///)

Lays down as now Y/n, Chomei, and Kurama sleep together

Y/n: Deal (Happy Y/n noises)
