[ tutorial ; my theme covers #2 ]

> > step five
once you have repeated them for all four colours, repeat them again, starting from the darkest. keep repeating until there is no space left.

> > step six
save to your camera roll. then open in phonto. add your text and add shadows to all of them with the alpha set to maximum.

> > step seven
once you have added all of your shadowed text, save to your camera roll and open superimpose.
open the original cover WITHOUT the text added as your background and the cover WITH the text added as the foreground. make the foreground fit exactly to the background by tapping the overlapping arrows icon, second from last on the top bar in the transform tab.

> > step eight
go to the mask tab and choose the regular brush.

> > step nine
start erasing parts of the text in accordance with the background. be careful and make sure not to overerase or undererase.

> > step ten
repeat for all of the text. then merge.

> > step eleven
open up various textures. the ones i used are in the previous chapter.
in my case, open the tree texture and position it exactly above the text with the base trunk overlapping the title text. set it to screen mode.

> > step twelve
open up the mask tab and choose linear gradient. position it so the linear gradient masks out the part where the base trunk of the tree overlaps the text to create a soft blended in effect.

> > step thirteen
merge and open up the last lighting texture, cropped to the right cover size. set it to overlay mode and make it fit exactly into the background.

> > step fourteen
merge and save to camera roll. now you have your finished product!
