[ tutorial ; my theme covers #1 ]

> >  requested by -fadedlights

okay so a few days ago or idk i'm terrible at remembering dates or anything for that matter, i posted a message on my message board asking if you guys wanted a tut on any graphic, including my themed covers or any graphic in the food display chapter of this book.

verenice here requested for me to do a tut on my themed covers so here i am yay!

in case you don't know what " themed covers " mean, it's the book covers for my books i have currently. they all have a similar layout and such. in case you still don't know what i mean, here are the covers.

before i start the tut, i would like to say please, please, please don't copy this theme and use it for a request or your own themed covers. feel free to try it out for practice if you're bored or something but do give credit like " inspiration by @LadybirdCookie ".

> >  step one
crop all the lil coloured squares from the colour palette listed above.

> >  step two
open up a blank background ( i normally use plain white ) in superimpose.

> >  step two
open up any colour of your choice from the colour palette. it's best to use the odd one out, the lightest or the darkest colour.

> >  step three
start with the darkest colour left available and open it as your foreground. position it diagonally and then before you merge, add a drop shadow to it.

> >  step four
repeat with the next three colours, all ranging from darkest to lightest. remember to add a drop shadow to ALL of them and to keep every one perfectly symmetrical. overlap slightly with the next ones but don't leave a gap that will show the background colour.

i've reached the 20 picture chapter limit, so this tutorial will be continued in the next chapter.
