Estelle
My eyes open and I fall out of the chamber.
Leeciy catches me.
"Where's September?" I ask, looking around, my hands bunching up his shirt.
"He's at school, he's safe, I promise." Leeciy says, rubbing my back. "The first simulation is the worst, you'll get used to it, I promise."
I press my face into the crook of his neck, breathing deeply, trying to rid myself of the knot of anxiety growing in my stomach.
He knows the drill. He wraps his arms around my torso and holds me to him tightly.
"Why don't you just take her home? We'll finish up." Stellan murmurs.
"Okay." Leeciy replies, pulling away.
We walk out the doors of the building and get into his car.
We drive in silence, the radio playing music that I didn't recognize.
We pull into Leeciy's apartment building, before getting out.
He grabs my hand and we walk up to his apartment.
His apartment was much smaller than mine, but it fit with the way he lives.
He goes back to the bedroom, then comes back out, holding a sweater. "I presume you want a change of clothes?"
I nod.
He tosses me the sweater, before walking back into the bedroom the change.
I'd worn one of Leeciy's sweaters before, and that was when I'd stayed the night in his motel room.
I take off my suit and put on the sweater, sitting down on the couch, squeezing one of the throw pillows.
I heat the door open and Leeciy walks out, in his usual attire of a long-sleeve shirt and jeans.  "What was your sim like?" He asks.
I shrug, watching him sit on the opposite side of the couch from me.
"It's always about something you fear, like drowning." He asks. "Were you drowning?"
I shake my head. "I was torn between choosing to save Luca and September, I chose September."
"Then what?" He asks.
"I was running through some really thick woods to find him, and August was there." I murmur.
I feel Leeciy's hand grab mine. "Go on."
"He pinned me against this tree and started kissing me. I don't remember August being so strong."
"Did it go on past that?" Leeciy asks, a protective aura present in his voice.
"I punched him, then continued to September." I say.. "He was hooked up to an IV which was putting some substance into him. I took it out, but his eyes rolled to the back of his head."
"That's when we got you out?" Leeciy asks.
I nod. "What was yours like?"
"Well, I was piloting a plane, with you and Cirus in the back, then we started going down. Long story short, I lost the both of you."
I nod, tossing the pillow aside.
"Would you like breakfast?" Leeciy asks.
I nod. "Will you make tea?"
"Green?"
I nod.
He gets up and walks to the kitchen, starting his kettle.
I look up at the ceiling, quickly getting bored.
I stand and walk to the kitchen, wrapping my arms around Leeciy's torso while he cooks.
He hums and taps my sweater-covered hands.
I lean up and press delicate pecks on the back of his neck.
He hums again, before saying something softly in Dutch. "ik hou van jou."
"You say that a lot." I murmur. "What's it mean?"
"I say it because it's true." He murmurs.
"Well, what does it mean?" I ask.
"That's for me to know, and you to wonder." He says. He finishes breakfast shortly after that, filling two mugs to the brim with tea.

We move to the table, sitting across from each other.
Leeciy looks like a work of art, his curls falling on his forehead haphazardly, his sweater falling over his frame baggily, and his cheeks a light purple.
I take a sip of tea. "We should play twenty questions."
"That's sudden. Why?"
"We never got to finish our game with Mareena back in Chicago." I smile. "You go first."
"Okay, what's your favorite color?" He asks.
"Blue, or a nice forest-y green." I say. "How different was your life four years ago?"
"Very different." He answers. "I was in Pangaea, just about getting ready to leave, I'm glad I did. What's your favorite constellation?"
"Cassiopeia. Which member of our friend group has no filter between their brain and their mouth?"
"Luca." He answers, before grinning. "What am I to you?"
"Well, that's hard to explain." I murmur. "You're important, like really important. I wouldn't be me, if it wasn't for you, I'm asking you the same question."
"In the least cliche way possible, you're like my other half. I feel weird when I'm away from you for too long, and I feel like my heart'll explode if I'm around you for too long. You complete me in the best way possible." He answers, biting his lip when he's done, watching me.
I smile. "Leeciy?"
"Hmm?" He asks.
"Would you be weirded out if I kissed you right now?"
"Can I use that question for my turn?"
I nod, watching him grab both our plates and put them in the sink, leaving our mugs on the table.
He lifts me with ease and plops us down on the couch. "Would you be weirded out if I kissed you right now?"
I shake my head.
Leeciy closes the small gap between us, combing his fingers through my hair, twisting the dead-ends around my fingers.
My hands go to his ribs bunching up his shirt in my hands.
All I could feel was him, and the way he expertly moved his lips against mine.
We pull apart after was feels like seconds, but in reality was probably a few minutes.
I keep my eyes shut, trying to prolong the feeling for as long as possible.
"Hey." He breaths, rubbing his thumb against my cheek. "Your turn."
"What's your biggest fear?" I ask, opening my eyes to meet his eyes, fondly looking down at me.
"I'd usually say love, but I think it's changed." He whispers. "I think my biggest fear is losing the ones I love."
I grin softly, pressing my lips to his briefly.
His long fingers still play with the ends of my hair. "I don't want to play twenty questions anymore."
"Neither do I." I murmur.
He leans down and connects out lips, another passionate kiss blinding my senses, and let's just say, it turned out to be more than just a kiss.
