Estelle
Leeciy woke up before me, and apparently took Cirus and September to school, all I know is that there was a box on the foot of my bed with a note that wasn't in his handwriting.
The box held a full body suit, that fit like a second skin, the note read: This is your training uniform, the material is some cotton interwoven with steel to protect you from getting too hurt. Please wear your hair in a way so it's out of your face. - L
Which leaves the note to either Latonya or Lexon, but I'm guessing Lexon because he's bossy like that.
I weave my hair into double braids, letting it fall down the black suit.
I slip on some shoes from my closet as the door opens.
I walk out of my bedroom and see Latonya.
"Oh, you're ready." She says. "Leeciy said I might've had to wake you."
I shake my head. "I'm ready to go."
She leads me out the door, and to the elevator.
"What should I expect?" I ask.
"Well, the trainer kinda sucks, his name's Stellan." She says. "He's really good at what he does, but he's also kinda scummy."
We step out of the elevator and walk out the front door of the building.
Latonya hails a cab quickly, before telling him who she is, then where we're going.
We ride in silence to the gymnasium, before we get out.
"Aren't you gonna pay?" I ask, looking at her.
She tilts her head. "Why would I?"
I get out of the cab closing the door. "Well, he drove us here."
"We work directly under Lexon, they know who we are and that we won't pay."
I furrow my brows and walk into the building.
First thing I see is Daxx, taking out the anger of one thousand suns on a poor dummy.
Latonya looks around before yelling. "Hey Stellan!"
A tall guy, with tanned skin, carved from lean muscle and smooth skin looks over at us, before walking our way.
"I have to warm up, you introduce yourself." Latonya says, teleporting away.
Stellan finally stands in front of me. "You're Estelle?"
"Yeah."
He chuckles. "How's the wound? How far do you think you can push yourself today?"
"It's healing, and the stitches won't rip, so I can definitely work." I answer.
"I suppose you already know your guards, but you don't know their primary positions?"
I nod.
"Daxx is a brute." Stellan says, motioning to Daxx, who was still beating a dummy. "He could probably snap my neck easily, if I wasn't so quick-witted."
Daxx was also pretty muscular, so it wasn't very surprising that he's the brute.
"Latonya is the stealthy one, especially with her Oura konnes." Stellan says, pointing at Latonya who was stretching her legs.
"And Leeciy, who's in the locker room, is the brains, but he can also fight." He says. "But you obviously know that. I've heard you're close."
"We are." I reply.
"Okay, so you can get started stretching." Stellan says. "I'm really just here to instruct and spot."
I nods, walking toward the mats where Latonya was.
First, I stretch my arms then my legs, and before I even start stretching out my core, someone tsks from behind me.
I turn around and see Leeciy, his curls pulled back with a headband, and a failing ponytail.
"I told you you need a haircut." I mumur, smiling softly at the little fly-a-ways that sprouted from his scalp.
He smiles, crossing his arms. "I know."
"Why'd you stop me?" I ask, my eyebrows raised.

"You'll probably pull something inside your wound if you go on like that, plus, we're about to start."
I nod, standing from the chair I was sitting in.
Stellan starts talking. "Alright! So today we're going to be working on something we all love, Simulations!"
Leeciy grumbles.
"So make your way over to the Simulation Room and we'll get you started." Stellan says, walking that way.
I follow behind Leeciy to a high-tech room with clear glass chambers that make my skin crawl uncomfortably.
Leeciy walks to a chamber, marked Chamber #1 with a sign, he buckles himself into a harness and puts goggles over his eyes, before holding his breath. He becomes entranced in seconds.
"I'll help you." Latonya offers, taking me over to an empty chamber. "Leeciy kinda gets a little grumpy during Simulation Days, it must remind of the dark, twisty past he must've had. Y'know, since he's so mysterious."
I agree mindlessly, stepping into the chamber.
I feel Latonya strapping me in. "Just pull down the mask over your eyes then you'll be immersed."
I grab the goggles and pull them over my eyes, before getting transported.

"Mom!" I hear September yelling.
I turn, looking around the dense forest. "September!?"
"Estelle!" Luca yells from the other direction, which makes me turn equally as quick.
"Help me!" I hear a weak Cirus-sounding voice shout.
I run in the direction of September, swatting branches out of my face. After a couple of yards, I run into a warm chest.
I pull away, hoping to see a September that's grown four feet.
I pull away and see August, smirking down at me.
His hand locks around my wrist, preventing me from leaving.
His sickening gaze locks onto my face as he presses me against a large tree, and presses his mouth over mine.
I fight against him, pressing my fists onto his tight grey shirt.
Finally, I get his mouth off mine, and glare up at him, before punching him in the jaw.
He stumbles back.
"Estelle!" September yells.
I run towards him, getting away from stunned August as quick as possible.
I stumble into an opening and look up to see September strapped to a chair, a needle dispensing fluid into his vein.
His narrowed eyes see me. "Mom! Help!"
I run towards him, grabbing his pale hand. "I've gotcha."
He sniffles. "It hurts."
I nod, pulling out the IV.
He looks up at me, his eyes blank.
"Are you okay?"
He stays silent as his eyes rolls to the back of his head and everything goes black.
