Leeciy
After a quick call to Logan, I drop Cirus off at her apartment.
I speed through traffic, parking at Estelle and September's building, I enter the building and quickly climb the staircases, taking two at a time.
I open the door and look around, they were both gone.
I fly back down the stairs and speed to the parliamentary building.
Right when I enter, I see September, on a chair, arguing with a guard,
Lexon was watching from afar, smirking.
Latonya sees me first. "He's here!"
September looks over at me, his enraged look softening to relief.
I manage a small smile, before diving into formalities. "Do we have any leads, anyone we can question?"
"There was two people." September answers. "One female and one male, oh and a dog!"
"A dog?" Latonya asks, looking over at Lexon.
"It's an animal." He explains shortly before moving down the stairs. "What did the people look like?"
"They were masked, but the man had a cane," September says. "Mom- Estelle, seemed to go pretty willingly as if she didn't want to hurt them."
I put the pieces together pretty quick. "Titanios and Mareena."
"Makes sense." Lexon smiles, setting a hand on September's head. "I like you."
"Uh."
"Would you want to help them search?" Lexon asks.
September looks over at me, grins then nods. "As long as I can partner with Leeciy."
"Partner?" Lexon looks confused.
"With me, there are four searchers, more ground would get covered in groups of two," September explains. "And I don't know those two, but I do know Leeciy."
"Smart kid," Lexon says, right, two groups, search.
I nod, grinning proudly at September.
I'm sure if Estelle were here, she'd grin at him, too.

Estelle
I wasn't locked in an empty room, for once, in fact, Titanios and Mareena let me loose into their hut.
"Why aren't you guys in Taeron?" I ask, looking at a drawing of a new Pangaean.
"Headaches," Mareena says. "I can't be around that many Pangaeans at once."
I look over at Titanios. "Why am I here?"
"We must warn you."
"Of?" I ask.
Titanios, in typical fashion, launches into an essay long explanation about everything. "We're going to die by kidnapping you, but that's alright, we've both already accepted our fate."
"Wait, you can't just sacrifice yourself to tell me something. That's not how it works." I interject.
Titanios holds a wobbly hand up, silencing me. "It's in your blood to avenge and to get revenge, I've watched it over and over again through your father and his father, and so on."
"You knew my ancestors?" I ask.
Titanios continues. "Don't interfere with the US, they're stronger than you, it's a fact. Stay in Taeron, the Gods have an alternate plan for you. Please, just marry Leeciy, or Luca and have a few kids, take the easy way out."
I swallow. "What do you mean?"
"You'd rather kill yourself to avenge than have an actual life," Titanios says. "I can't let that happen."
He finishes his speech, looking over at Mareena, who was staring blankly at the wall, Raheel looks over at us.
"We don't have long," Mareena informs.
"How do you know my ancestors?" I ask.
He smiles. "Estelle, I'm your great-great-great grandfather."
"What?" I ask. "How? You're related to Arlin's bloodline."
"Your father, Arlo, never had red hair, and neither did your mother, but Arlin does, well did, and so did I."
"I'm confused," I mutter, placing a hand on my head.
Mareena smirks. "You were conceived in an affair, you are not a Ziveri, you're an Osaras."
I blink, looking over at Titanios.
"Is it weird this is exactly as I pictured my last moments?" Titanios asks drily.
I walk over and hug Titanios, holding him close.
He wraps his arms around me as well. "Am I allowed to have a dying wish?"
I shake my head. "You aren't gonna die."
"I want you to start going as Estelle Osaras, it's more badass and effective than Ziveri."
"It does mean strength." I joke.
There's a knock at the front door of the cottage.
Titanios pulls away, hurrying to open the door.
"You're an idiot." Leeciy's voice says, right as the door opens.
Titanios smiles proudly, looking from Leeciy to someone else. "I'm aware, why don't you come in."
"We're actually here for Estelle." The other person says.
September?
"She's in here, safe, warm, surprisingly not tortured." Titanios jokes, stepping aside letting them in.
"Your hair!" Was the first thing September said. "It's so red."
"Like mine used to be," Titanios says. "I feel like I should reintroduce myself."
"Always with the dramatics," Mareena says.
"I'm Titanios Osaras, great-great-great-grandfather of the twins, Maverick and Estelle," Titanios says formally, bowing.
Leeciy looks over at me, brows furrowed. "My mother had an affair with Arlin."
"Oh." He says. "We should get going, we'll leave these two as innocent as possible as possible."
September walks over to pick up a small statue on a table, eying it.
"Take it, boy," Titanios says, grinning over at him.
September grins shaking his head, then sets it back down, looking over at me. "You ready to leave?"
I nod. "Unless you guys need to tell me something else?"
Titanios grins proudly. "Not me, what about you Mareena?"
She shrugs. "Nothing really."
I glance over at Mareena, she was fiddling with something behind her back.
Leeciy seemed to pick up on that, too. "What are you hiding?"
"What are you talking about?" She asks, cocking her head.
"What do you have behind your back?" Leeciy asks, putting a protective hand on the small of my back.
Mareena smirks devilishly, before pulling out a small gun. "I don't know, what is it Leeciy?"
I gasp as Leeciy moves me strategically behind him.
"We all know what that is," Leeciy answers in an odd protective, yet threatening tone.
Mareena aims the gun at Leeciy. "Maybe you wanna find out more, like how it feels when it's used on you!" She yells.
I look up at Leeciy, whose jaw was set, and his feet set probably just as hard.
"Put the gun down, Mare-" Before he could even talking, Mareena had pulled the trigger.
