Sejal checked the vacancy for any cabs in her phone but successfully failed due to the prime hour and it's no news that in a city like Kolkata you could not very easily grab a vacant drop vehicle at this time. Mentally she calculated the average time it will take her in reaching home by a bus and simultaneously she even checked the metro possibilities.

Taking a bus would be cheaper but it would be a troublesome journey having to give a standing ovation the whole time during the journey due to the lack of availability of seats whereas the metro might be a bit expensive in comparison to the bus but it promises a much safer ride with a predictable empty seats at least; because after a long shift all she wants is a peaceful slumber of sleep to her legs.

Finalizing to catch the metro Sejal made her way to the station which was just a mere walking distance from where her location was right now.

Click- clack - click - clack-click; that was the karaoke her shoes were playing in contrast to the melody of cool whitening breeze as Sejal could see the rain drops getting dissolved with the heavy wind making her difficult to breathe at the moment, thankfully Sejal put on her one of her favorite blazers guessing well about the weather.

It felt like a storm in the middle of a season which was definitely not necessary because the temperature was already dropped dead to 7°C,not a surprising number for the usual winter in Kolkata.

Rubbing her palms against each other to generate heat Sejal made her way to the escalator hopping to the ticket counter. Pushing a brown strand back into its place behind her freezing ear her peripheral zoomed on a group of people surrounding a man, who was demonstrating few stunning stunts playing with a stick making her brain silently observe that he was performing without any safety measurements.

That surely was like a free inspiration into danger mostly for the people who were fascinated by such demonstration of tricks pursuing her to wonder about how people can be so ridiculously careless.

Mute. The crowd slowly started to scatter as the train had arrived making the station a bit cloudy with sudden dust mixing up with the hazy fog and mist.

Humans, they can never change. Just now they were interested in watching the guy perform life risking stunts and once the train zoomed in the public went back to their interests of life, even without a second glance back at that guy people entered into their compartments crushing the hope of that stuntman of ever becoming famous with his art.

Moreover she couldn't comprehend about why the hell this guy chose a metro platform in attracting people to his art form, again its humans after all and we can do any unimaginable thing.

With all these crumbling thoughts in her head Sejal collected the green token given at the counter for entering into the platform, walking out of the line she put her purse back into her bag.

A sudden shock travelled through her entire body making her freeze in her tracks almost threatening to electrocute her any moment, arching her neck Sejal checked whether her leg was tangled with any live wire, finding none she channeled her eyes to the actual source.

A very cold palm was touching her hand, it was the hand of a male but Sejal was confused for a moment when she saw a shining bracelet dangling on the wrist which a girl only would prefer to put on; it was gold in colour with little heart shapes and tiny stars scattered at places on the chain.

Even with the temperature dropped too low Sejal could still experience a high jolt of electric energy, maybe because of sudden human touch her body was reacting defensively. Wanting to see the man Sejal turned a bit to see whose hand was so coldly dead but immediately regretted by the unexpected glimpse of the handsome male.

"Sorry."

Sejal didn't even wait to hear any apology as something was running wrong in her functioning of brain, because she found her steps rushing to the check point to enter into a platform.

"I'm sorry."

Sejal started muttering some casualties of curses to her without paying any attention to the shouting apology, placing her token in the check giving her purse in the scanner she walked as quickly as possible to say it must be considered almost running.

Arching for breath she finally reached a safer place farther away from the wild threat of meeting her boss Sejal settled on a comfortable spot, cleaning the frost gagged over the glass she checked rechecked and over checked her hair colour which was rose gold; one of her hasty decisions at the parlour when Katyusha had kept a bet of not being so daring and this was the most ridiculous colour she could chose saving her hair from being coloured violet which was an initial idea of both Raghav and Katyusha.

Satisfied that her hair wasn't brunette Sejal twisted her lips in an unkempt manner because after what Dr Vyas had explained about her boss she had partially started to doubt whether her hair colour was brunette?

Because in fifty shades of grey the main lead was a sucker for brunette heads and unfortunately the female lead was a brunette haired and one of her habits which arouse him sexually was when she bit her lower lip.

Sejal wondered whether by chance she had acquired such a habit, clarified that she had no such interests with her lower lip Sejal wiped her face with a cold tissue trying to dust away her worries.

Throwing the dirty tissue into a cute little rabbit dustbin Sejal sat on the cold marble bench thinking of why use such a beautiful animal to collect trash, they could have used a bear instead it could suit the job also.

Whoosh- Whoop- Whoosh; Sejal turned around to see what was that sound and then she realized how she had completely forgotten about the stuntman all this time, drowning in her misery of stupid boss.

He was still performing with no one even to watch, with a set of earphones tugged into his ears the man was performing like his life depended on these moves which he was so graceful in performing.

Generally people start losing hope with failed attempts but this guy was so different, maybe he was so desperate in becoming famous and being recogonised that he is still madly performing at a platform with nobody to watch, that too in the dead cold of a season.

Realizing this stunt could damage his lungs and definitely he is going to catch pneumonia if he still doesn't take any medical measures Sejal decided to give a piece of her mind to him.

"Hey, it's so much cold here. You need to stop this."

Whoosh- scaring her by pointing the stick at her head diagonally from the ground the stunt man knelt on the ground on one knee very fashionably.

"Tiger."

"What?"
Sejal questioned not sure if she heard him right or missed catching whatever word he had spoken.

"Anyways, I was saying that you need to stop performing in the cold you may catch cold. You can become famous by other means also."
Sejal voiced her thoughts laced with worrisome because being a doctor she felt responsible for every person she met, who may need some medical advice.

Jumping back on his feet like a pro in it Tiger gave an arrogant smirk and began performing again as if whatever Sejal explained him just now, it had no effect on his head.
That was seriously annoying thing to do because it's a basic human courtesy to at least reply when someone is trying to talk sense into you.

With enlarged hazel eyes Sejal rushed to other side of the platform taking her position for entering into any compartment because the train was due arriving in a minute, at least that's what the announcement said and she was thankful to it because she saw Aryan also entering into the platform so the train is going to be her savage at the moment.

The train arrived and gladly Sejal got into the compartment on, she felt relieved on not finding her boss around as her eyes noticed that Tiger was still performing, and now there were two people watching his demonstrations while one of them even took the liability in capturing a video of his.

Annoyed with the behaviour of people around she turned back listening a shuffle and the same cologne hit her; it was a very meek smell of fresh paint and grass with a hint of rain. She couldn't breathe due to the sudden invasion of foreign smell in her space, and she knew it was Aryan because this was the second time she smelled this strange flavor after the interview.

To her very dismay there was only an old couple so lovey-dovey trying to smooch each other's head and a group few students arguing among themselves about some stupid toad color.

Now that Aryan was back of her Sejal had all her escape routes blocked unless she was a witch in Harry Potter and there was still a flu network still running after Umbridge has closed them all.

"Now that we meet again how about you take my apology?"

Scrunching her nose due to the smell of his strong perfume Sejal turned around to face him, Aryan was in actual shock of amusement to find her here and this was the first time he was meeting her after their interview meet.

"Whoa! It's you."

Aryan locked his cold palms which send another series of electric jolts in her body like the earlier one, their palms fit perfectly like the pieces of a puzzle which were gone missing has finally been joined.

"Breathe."

Oxygen hit Sejal's trachea making her an unwanted realisation that she wasn't breathing till now, maybe because of his stupid choice of perfume.

"Take a deep breath in."

Inhaling Sejal realized of how much danger she has invited so, immediately she pulled her hands back muttering I can breathe. As soon as she left the cold hands her soft palms missed the magical touch of his hand and it was just a few seconds he had held them.

Taking a step back with lots of thinking and courage she found her voice finally, she didn't want to be the next victim in his list of girls because she joined RCSM to prove how good of a daughter and lady she can be.

"Why are you following me?"

"Why can't I follow you?"
Aryan answered cockily watching the time in his watch; it was a Rolex in platinum color and the dial looked so beautiful with little circles on the edges like the moon cycle from its new moon structure to the full moon.

"Did your preference for hair color change?"

"Huh- What?"

Sejal stood blank not knowing why she even considered asking him such a stupid question and moreover he didn't even deny about following her that made her feel more paranoid about her safety as a girl, only she wished buying the pepper spray when Katyusha was insisting at the store.

"Don't you think you have the habit of answering questions with another question?"

Aryan looked amused for a second as if somebody just told him the coordinates of the secret bomb plantation of their enemy country.

"I find you attractive and sexy, is it enough for an answer?"

Sejal turned around because she couldn't stop blushing wondering how could somebody be so out front only in their third meeting?

So, he was a man who spoke openly about the beauty of women.

"Red color looks good on your cheeks."

Sejal blushed harder and this time because of embarrassment because she hasn't realized that Aryan could easily see her in the black glass of the window, and by now she got used to his cologne which was hitting her lungs badly making her wonder why she couldn't stop blushing after all it was just a compliment.

"Your taste in perfume is very insane."

"Let's go perfume shopping then."

Aryan said with a smirk and Sejal could see the stars dancing on her head warning that this is where he would try impressing her and sign a sexual activity contract with her.

"You are impossible Dr Shetty!"

Spitting the words on his face she sat down in an empty seat not sure from where she got the guts to say something so heinous to her upper in work, no surprise he must be pissed off with such behavior and would even make her resign.

But surprisingly he came and sat beside her fiddling with his unusual bracelet, being sure that she may stop breathing or more worse start blushing again as he is still around Sejal shifted four seats away from him and thankfully he didn't follow her. Of which Sejal was quite happy about.

The elderly couple smiled watching her cherish the little happiness of being away from Aryan, which she reciprocated with a toothy grin.

Sejal hurled her headphones into both the ears started consuming the warmth of Taylor Swift, she loved her voice although few of her works sometimes go high pitch but still it calms her nerves on some occasions.

Risking a glance of memorization Sejal turned to her left trying to check whether Aryan was still there or did manage to steal a seat close to her. Period.

He was missing, her eyes immediately scanned the whole car in a jinx but Sejal couldn't find him and by now the train has also departed; does it mean that he managed to get down safely after talking to her?

This must be bad news for her reputation then, Sejal had no idea what was running in that head of her boss; was he going to manipulate her in becoming his sub?

The elderly lady watched Sejal turning blanch with every passing second so she simply tried giving a smile of reassurance and this time Sejal couldn't reciprocate the smile.
Is it that hard in surviving an easy life?
