Rich handed everyone a small earpiece.
Tetra took it tentatively. "I'm not sure I want that many voices in my head. I already have enough."
Everyone looked at her oddly. She sighed and stuck the earpiece in her ear.
"Now," said Rich, "You guys cleared out a lot of demons. Ava's not doing so hot, but she should be okay for wherever you guys go next. I'll be watching from this drone thing I set up." A camera with propellers attached to it flew up behind him.
Ava said, "Can I really be of any help? Those more powerful angels couldn't do anything."
"Ava, anything you can do is help," Evyn said softly while hugging her. Lo nodded in agreement.
Tetra raised her sword. "Can we go kill more demons please?"
Lo said, "We need to find the demons' door, so yeah. I guess we can go kill some more."
"Good", said a whispering voice. Tetra whipped her head around, trying to find the noise.
"Did you guys hear that?"
"Hear what?" Rich said.
"Nothing. Come on guys."

Ava flew above her teammates and shot beams of light whenever necessary, but stayed high to save her energy.
The four of them headed west from the tower, in the direction of the arena. Tetra and Lo kept slashing through the monsters while Evyn went head of them and attacked from behind.
"Any sight of the door?" Rich's voice came over the radio.
"No, not yet," Lo said. Tetra's blade began to glow again.
Ava landed beside her. "That looks dangerous."
Tetra sighed. "It's fine."
"If you say so." She took off again.
Tetra rolled her eyes and kept fighting. The adrenaline carried her closer and closer to the arena. The sword started to burn but she ignored it. The stadium was in sight.
One of the walls was torn completely to pieces; the debris spilled out over the surrounding area. Tetra shuddered as the memory of their previous visit to the arena returned to her. Lo came by and hugged her knowingly. Evyn and Ava arrived beside them as well.
"Go in."
"There's that voice again," Tetra said.
It said more forcefully, "Go in." So she went in. The seats were mostly caved in from the creatures that flattened them. The field paint was torn asunder and uneven. But there was no door.
Tetra threw her sword down in frustration then picked it up again hastily. The other three came in behind her.
"Well," Lo said, "that was a bust. I was sure it would be there."
Rich's drone flew in from the roof. "I'm not sure where it could be honestly. We can't search all of Cloud 9 for this door."
"Home," said the voice.
"Maybe. . .it's where we used to live?" Tetra said.
"Where'd you get that idea?" asked Evyn.
"It's worth a try."
Ava shrugged. "She's right, it's worth a try."
"Well then," Lo said, "Let's go home."
