Chapter 11

As Saturday rolled around, Nate was ecstatic about it. He couldn't stop freaking out about what would happen at a 'high school party.' He was worrying from how to style his hair, from what he was going to wear. "Nathan, do you think this is alright or do you think it's too bland?" Nate questions.

He stood in front of his younger brother, his arms spread out wide as he presented himself before him. Nate was wearing black jeans, a white T-shirt that was tucked into the front of his pants and was hung loose at the back. He had a black belt wrapped around his jeans and black converse on. "Maybe I should change my shoes. Converse aren't even in anymore, should I change to addidas, what do I do?" Nate questions, glancing down at his outfit once again.

"You look fine, Nate" Nathan chuckles, looking at his older brother with a smile widely spread across his face like he was trying to hold in his laughter.

"Oh come on Nathan, you've been to a ton of high school parties and you're only in grade nine, you could at least give me some advice."

"I only get asked out to more parties than you do because I'm the better looking sibling." Nathan teases in a smile, ruffling Nate's hair as he walked into the next room.

"Yah, just because you're taller than me doesn't mean you can ruffle my hair like that! I'm older than you!" Nate spat, looking back at his younger brother, trying to look at him in anger, but it came out more like a pout.

At the same time, a knock could be heard coming from the front door and Nathan smiled "is that your date at the door now?"

Nate took a quick glare at his younger brother as he ran to the door and opened it, seeing Jake standing in the doorway. "You look great Jake!" Nate says in astonishment, amazed with Jake's amazing sense of fashion. He stood before Jake and spread his arms wide like before how he did in front of his brother and questions "does my outfit look alright?"

Jake eyed Nate up and down before nodding meaning yes. Nate was happy with Jake's nod and smiled brightly. At the same time, Nathan came to the door to see who had come to pick up Nate, and was surprised to see it was one of the most popular boys in the school. He was taken aback that an actual cool person was standing at their doorway to pick up his older brother.

"I'm just going to grab my phone from my bedroom and I'll be back in a sec!" Nate answers in a smile, turning around and quickly running down the hall to go to his bedroom where his younger brother quickly followed him.

Nathan followed Nate into his bedroom and closed the door shut behind him as he looked at Nate seriously. "Nate, how the hell do you know that guy?! Are you friends with him?" Nathan questions, looking at Nate like he was still surprised that his older brother knows someone like him.

"I'd like to think Jake and I are friends even though he doesn't talk much, why?" Nate questions, grabbing his cellphone which was on his bed and shoving it into his pants pocket before turning around and looking at his brother who was blocking the doorway to leave his bedroom.

"Because he's like...one of the most popular boys in the whole school! He's friends with Carter and Todd, and all the cool people! You have to introduce me to him! You know all the rumours going around about him?!"

"Yeah, we're going to Carter's party tonight...I didn't know he was that much of a big deal. What kind of rumours?" Nate questions, looking at Nathan curiously.

"Jeez, when did my older brother become so popular?! And yeah, there are a ton of rumours about him, any rumour you can think of that has to do with a 'scandal' Jake is in it. If it has to do with girls, or even drugs."

"Jake does that? I don't know, Jake doesn't seem like the person do those things." Nate says in a chuckle, looking at his younger brother like he was crazy for believing such rumours.

"It's true...if you go to that party at least take pictures there and send them to me." Nathan says and Nate smiled.

"I am going to the party, and I will, don't worry." Nate replies, walking past his brother and now leaving his bedroom to meet Jake who  was still standing at the front, now looking down at his shoes as he waited for Nate.

Nate walked up to Jake and smiled "okay I'm ready" he says as they both turned around and started to head out of the house.

As Ryan was walking closer to Carter's party, he was down the road, slowly inching closer and closer to the house. "Should I really be going, what if someone pressures me into drinking, or doing drugs?! I can't do anything like that, I have to be a good child of God." Ryan says to himself in concern.

At the same time, Ryan saw Max walk past him and called out to him "Max!"

As Ryan called out to him, Max looked over his shoulder to see it was Ryan and looked at him with an unamused expression on his face and questions "you're coming...to this party?"

"W-Well yeah, I wanted to come since everyone in the club is going and I didn't want to be left out on what we were going to talk about on Monday morning."

"And your parents agreed to you coming? What a shock." Max says, sounding like he didn't care, but was still slightly surprised considering how religious Ryan's parents were.

"Well I told them I was going to a party...but not what kind of party I'm going to. They think I'm going to some party the church is having tonight, but I'm not." Ryan explains, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Your church is having a...party?" Max questions, raising one eyebrow as he looked at Ryan.

"It's like...a dance for the church kids. The kids who are in the choir and whoever just wants to come. I go every year, it's actually pretty interesting, you know-"

Max cut Ryan off there with an annoyed expression on his face and raised one hand up to stop Ryan from talking. "You're annoying the hell out of me just talking about it. Come on, if you're coming then you better hurry up." Max says, waiting in his spot like he was waiting for Ryan to start walking.

Ryan noticed Max looking at him, waiting for him to catch up and was surprised that Max was actually waiting for him to walk with him. He quickly walked to Max and both boys started walking to the party, where they entered through the gate of Kyle's house. "Th-this is Kyle's house?!" Ryan questions in amazement with how big it was.

"I knew the fucker was rich, but I didn't know he was this rich." Max mumbles in slight jealousy as they both walked towards the house. As they entered the house, the first thing they saw was Todd downing two beers at the same time.

"It's even bigger on the inside then it is on the outside" Ryan says in shock, looking around Kevin's huge house.

"So...come on" Max says, entering the house some more as he walked into the kitchen, Ryan following behind him since he didn't know what to do or where to go. He squirmed through the people either dancing to the loud hip-hop music, or the people who were taking up space by making out in the middle of the room.

"My dad would have a fit if he saw this" Ryan thought to himself in concern as he looked at everyone seriously.

As both boys finally got into the kitchen, there were even more people in the kitchen then there was in the huge living room. "Here" Max says, throwing Ryan a can of beer where Ryan caught it with both hands.

"I-I can't drink this Max, God wouldn't want me to..." Ryan says, holding the can of beer in his arms like it was a baby from catching it.

"Oh come on Ryan you're at a party. That's all everyone will be doing here. So drink the beer." Max demands, looking at Ryan seriously before opening his own beer and drinking out of it.

Ryan looked at Max hesitantly but didn't want to know what Max would do if he said no. He sighed lightly, slowly opening the can of beer and looking down at it for a moment before shakily bringing the can up to his lips as he took a sip of the beer and instantly made a face, not enjoying the taste.

Jacob entered the house, his shoulders slightly hunched. He wasn't social, and has never been invited or has never let alone set foot into a party, but it was a whole new environment for him. Jacob was looking for anyone he might know, but no one was in sight of him.

Once Jacob finally found someone, he blushed into a light pink because the first person he saw was Todd. He wanted to walk up to Todd and ask what he was doing, and joke with him like he usually did when they were together.

Jacob hesitated for a moment. He saw Todd was in the middle of a group of people, drinking multiple beers with his shirt off. Todd's abs were strongly showing, his pecks looked incredible. All Jacob could think about was touching Todd's body, because Todd was so handsome and muscular. He couldn't stop picturing in his head how Todd would look naked.

"No, I have to stop" Jacob says, looking down as he started to shake his head. He couldn't walk up to Todd with the image of him being naked still inside his head. He looked back up at Todd once the image cleared his mind and he swallowed hard. He saw the dribble of beer running down his chin as it fell onto his torso, running down his body. It was so hot, Jacob doesn't drink, but he would have gladly licked it off.

Jacob shook his head once again, he knew he needed to stop thinking this way about Todd or he would never be able to approach him. Todd had finally finished the two beers he was drinking and Jacob thought it would be a good time to walk up to him and start a conversation.

as Jacob slowly started to grab his confidence and walk up to Todd, someone had beat him to it. A girl practically threw herself onto Todd like she was a mosquito wanting to suck Todd's blood. Their bodies pushing against one another as they started making out. Th girl grabbed Todd's head, while Todd wrapped his arms around her body, he grabbed her ass in the middle of their make out session.

Jacob instantly stopped in the middle of his tracks when he saw Todd making out with the girl. Whistling could be heard around them, other people shouting at them to get a room where they ended up going upstairs so they could get a room for themselves.

Jacob watched the two of them walk upstairs and looked down at his feet, pulling on his fingers as he bit down on his bottom lip. It was like his heart had sunk from his chest, into his stomach. He walked out of the house, already not wanting to be there anymore.

Meanwhile with Kevin, he was in his bedroom, sitting on his bed. His bedroom door was locked, so no one could come in. Kevin didn't want to see anyone, he didn't even want to host a party, he just wanted to stay in his room by himself on the weekend, but now he was hosting a house party where things are probably going to get broken or stolen where he'll probably have to hear it from his father later.

At the same time, someone knocked on Kevin's bedroom door. "Kevin, open the door" he heard Jackson's voice from outside call out.

Kevin groaned lightly as he stood from his bed and walked to his bedroom door, unlocking it to let Jackson inside his bedroom. Once Jackson entered, Kevin closed the door behind him. He could obviously tell something was up with Jackson. He had  a scared expression on his face and was looking around the room.

The first place Jackson went to in Kevin's room was the windows as he shut the blinds so no one could see inside Kevin's bedroom. "Um Jackson, is everything okay?" Kevin questions, watching Jackson as he paced back and forth in his bedroom.

"Your door is locked, right?" Jackson questions, making sure.

"Um yeah, it's locked..." Kevin answers, wiggling the doorknob, hearing that it was locked.

Once Jackson felt like he was safe in some way, he sighed lightly, sitting down on the edge of Kevin's bed while looking down at his feet. Now that Jackson was done pacing around his bedroom, he decided to question once again "is everything okay?"

Jackson let out a light sigh, thinking if he should really tell Kevin or not. "I don't even know if I should tell you."

"Well you are in my house right now, acting like a crazy person."

"Good point" Jackson retorts, looking down while running his fingers through his hair. He sighed lightly once again before saying "if I tell you...I'd have to tell you everything. You can't tell anyone this..."

"Okay, I won't" Kevin answers, looking at Jackson surprised. He didn't know Jackson had any secretes, he's never seen Jackson so serious before. Even as the president of the student council, where he looked semi-serious all the time, it was different this time.

"I have...a stalker."

"A stalker? Is she someone from the school?" Kevin asks, looking at Jackson with wide eyes. He's never heard of anyone having stalkers, to him he's only heard stories over the internet of them.

"No...he's a guy, and he's not from school."

"You have a guy stalker who isn't from school?" Kevin repeats with one eyebrow raised, making sure he was getting everything right.

"Yes... he's my stalker from the job I work at. He's always coming to my workplace and watching me."

"Can't you just kick him out, isn't that creepy? Jackson, where do you work? You never tell anyone."

Jackson didn't answer Kevin right away. He chewed on his bottom lip before giving in and explaining "I'm a drag queen."

"A...drag queen? What's that?" Kevin questions, completely oblivious onto what Jackson was talking about.

All Jackson could do was sigh as he pulled out his phone from his pocket and showed Kevin a picture of himself in drag. "That's what I do. I dress up in makeup and girl clothes. I perform on stages in clubs. That's my job."

Kevin took the phone from Jackson's hands and looked  at the picture more seriously, bringing the screen closer to his face like that would help any more. "YAH STOP ZOOMING IN ON MY THIGHS!" Jackson shouts, snatching his phone away from Kevin's hands.

"I never saw a boy wear a skirt that high, won't your...you know, thing fall out or something."

"No, you tape it back" Jackson answers, looking at Kevin with a dull expression on his face.

"You tape your dick?!" Kevin asks in shock, looking at Jackson with a concerned expression on his face as he placed both hands over top of his area like he was protecting it.

"I do it for performing, jeez." Jackson answers, chuckling at Kevin's reaction.

"So this guy is someone who goes to your shows and watches you perform on stage?"

"Yeah, he's always there. I've caught him standing outside of my house before and standing outside of my window. He's so creepy, he probably followed me to this party. I hate it, I see him everywhere and I feel like he's just going to jump me at one point." Jackson explains, wrapping his arms around himself.

Kevin could see how scared Jackson was and got concerned. "Well have you told the police, you have to tell the police."

"I can't tell the police, if I do I'd have to explain to the police what I do and where I work. I work at a club, I'm underage, I can't do that. My boss could go to jail or something for hiring someone who's underage." Jackson explains, you could tell he cared a lot for the people he worked with.

Kevin nodded, understanding why Jackson couldn't go to the police "but it's still not right. You have to think about your own safety, Jackson."

"I know...I'll go when I'm eighteen." Jackson explains and sighed as he stood up.

"Where're you going?"

"I should head home..."

"But, that guy is still out there looking for you!"

"He's always looking for me, it's nothing new." Jackson answers, already walking towards Kevin's bedroom door to leave.

"Wait Jackson, stay at my house tonight." Kevin says, looking at Jackson concerned.

Jackson looked back at Kevin surprised that he was letting him stay over. "Really...you wouldn't mind?" Jackson questions and Kevin nodded meaning yes.

"Thanks...Kevin" Jackson answers in a smile, walking up to Kevin and hugging him tightly.

Kevin was surprised by the sudden hug but held Jackson in his own embrace, hugging him back.
