Part 86
A/N: This is a hard chapter. Get your tissues ready.
The hallway was half dark and long as Henry walked towards the end. The morgue situated right at the corner and it was locked when he tried to open it. He cursed, slapping the door when he heard the voice coming from the elevator. He quickly hides behind the corner and watched as two orderlies pushed a metal tray and one of them tapped their ID over the locked, unlocking the door for them to enter.
As soon as they entered, Henry rushed to grab the door before it slams shut and swiftly entered as the orderlies has disappeared into one of the room.
Henry lurked, trying to follow the orderlies when he heard them talking, and later sounds of metal screeched and thumping when Henry realized it was the holding bay. He stayed by the corner waiting for them to get out and immediately went inside after they left.
The room was empty except for the metal fridge by the wall that has labels on few of the door. He approached, reading into their names when he finally saw hers.
June Claremont-Diaz
Henry inhaled sharply, trying to ease his heart from thumping rather loudly inside his chest. But the more he waited, the faster it beats and Henry felt his throat tightened and that familiar nausea returned.
He exhaled another breath before pulling the door latched opened and pulled out the tray that carries her lifeless body that covers with a black body bag. He winced at the pain from stretching his weak wrist from pulling the heavy tray but ignored it completely and focusing on seeing her.
Henry grabbed the zipper by the end and starts unraveling her hair then later he saw her pale body underneath. The plastic opened halfway over her body revealing her small frail figure wrapped with a white sheets over her chest leaving out her arms exposed on the side.
He gasped, cupping his own mouth with his palm as he saw her. Pale and lifeless, lips blue like the dark waters he had dreamt off these past few days.
"Oh God June." He whimpered, holding on to the rails of her metal stretcher as he cried for her.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He whispered repeatedly. His tears falls like river through his cheek. Henry raised his finger over the side of her cheek and felt the coldness surged through his entire body that made the slight twinge of tightness in his chest grew stronger. He watched as her pale shoulders were stiffed on the metal trays with sutures of post autopsy scar over her chest peaking through the sheets.
Later he lowered his palm over her hand resting on her side before he palmed it right over her wrist. The coldness hits deep into his bone and he felt pain striking his back that made him bowed forward with a gasped.
The pain he felt wasn't just the guilt running through his body but the pain that she endured when she plunged into her death. Henry could feel the coldness grew and his entire body shivers before he heard it. A tiny glimpse of whispers.
"Henry stop it!"
His hand immediately pulled away from June's that made Henry stumbled back and falls right on his buttock. His hands won't stop shaking and his head shifts around to find the source of that whisper when he realized he was entirely alone in the room. He raised himself from the ground and carefully stepped closer towards June's body again.
"I have felt enough pain my entire life but I don't know whether I'm ready to felt another June. I have to make this decision for my own and for the sake of others. It's for the best."
Henry didn't know why he elaborated his entire feelings like June could still hear him. His fingers brushed silently through her hair before he continued.
"I'm so sorry for doing this but I know its for the best, for them. I can't keep hurting anyone else anymore." Henry whispered, brushing his palm over his wet cheeks. "Goodbye June." He whispered softly before pulling the zipper back to cover her face but Henry stopped right before it closes entirely.
He immersed himself entirely into the memory of her. The first time he saw her, begging for his help that made him found his true love that same night. He remembers the first time Alex told him about her, the first time he finally opened up to him when he trust him enough for her memory. Now he stood by those memory that Alex had feared the most that was caused by none other but himself.
"I'm really am sorry." He whispered letting another tear fell on his cheek as he zipped the bag closed and starts pushing it back in place. The minute he shuts the door latched locked, there was another sound coming from the front door and sounds of people chatting made Henry cowering away into the corner to hide.
Henry managed to slip away from the orderlies before exiting the morgue and headed back to his room.
He didn't realized it had been hours since he had been in the morgue. When he got back to his own room, he saw the shoebox that he had Cash picked up from Shaan's place left on his bed along with the sheets of papers and a pen on top. He shuts the door of his room tightly before walking towards his own bed.
He pushed the paper aside and grabbed the box in his hand before flipping it opened.
Inside, the soft yellow baby blanket that he purchased when he saw in a store once while he was out for a walk. Zahra was only six months pregnant when he saw it but immediately he knew it belongs to the unborn baby.
He pulled the blanket up, unveiling the image of a duck wearing a pink hat that has a white daisy flower right in the middle that made Henry smiled. But his smile slowly turns into a breaking sobs as he clutched the blanket close to his chest. The scent of new blanket with a hint of clean linen after washed hits his nostrils. It felt like home.
His eyes darted towards the soft yellow beanie that he remembered crocheted along with Zahra. He placed the blanket down on the bed before picking up the beanie in his hand. His thumb traced over the stitched named he had sewn over the center smiling with tears running down his face. It was the perfect name for her and he knew how much it meant for the rest of them.
He set the blanket back into the box with the beanie before placing it back on the side of his bed. He grabbed the paper and starts pulling the table across him then later setting himself on the edge of the bed. Henry stared at the blank paper with the pen held firmly on his right hand before he wrote the first line.
.
Nurse came by checking on him as he kept writing whole night and noticed the pain he tried to endure from using his wrist. They kept asking if he wants any pain killers but Henry rejected each time and kept on writing.
His handwriting wasn't as great as before but it was enough for him to write his heart out and say what he needed to say before setting it aside in each envelope with their name written respectively on it.
Henry set the envelopes over the table when he realized the sun starts rising from the window across from him. He stares at the light slowly coming out clearer than the darkness of the night. He hasn't slept since and his wrist are achingly painful at this point from whole night writing.
Henry grasped his right wrist in pain with his eyes closed when a sudden knock broke him from his thoughts. "Morning sunshine." One of the regular nurse that Henry had grew familiar with entered to take his morning vitals.
"How are you doing love?" The nurse asks as she wheeled the machine around Henry's bed to face him when she realized how exhausted Henry must have looked that made her stopped immediately.
"Are you alright sweetie? Need me to call the doctor in?" She asks but Henry shook his head back at her silently. Eyes still focusing on the the window shining the sun brightly over his face. She sighed, placing the cuffs over his arms and starts placing the pulse oximeter over Henry's fingers when she realized it was still trembling.
"Henry are you in pain?" She asks carefully examining him but Henry shook his head lightly at her. The pressure cuffs had grew tighter over his arm that made Henry winced with his eyes closed.
"Sorry sweetie, just for a bit yeah?" She says apologetically and it felt ages later when it finally stopped. "Better than the time you came in." She reassured but Henry was already pulling the velcro off from his arm.
"Gemma I need your help." He starts, voice breaking from whole night of crying that made his head felt like it swollen. His eyes are practically burning and his entire body is too tired to even lift a finger.
"Anything darling." She smiles, hands cupping her rather large waist that she fits into those pale green scrubs. Her dark brown skin contrast with the scrubs she worn and her curls falls over the side of her ear that she desperately tight behind her head.
"I wanna get out. Can you get them to release me. I'll sign the risk form." He says surprising the nurse entirely. "Henry you still under probation. You need to pass the mental health clearances and also we are repeating your scans today hopefully." She tried to coax him not too leave but Henry already made his decision clearly last night.
"I'm not staying. Either you get me those forms or not, I'm still leaving." He says as he stood up from the bed and starts grabbing the box in his hand. His duffle bags are ready by his side and Gemma stares at him with a long sigh.
"Fine. I'll get you those form. Hold your horses or I might lose my job." She says pulling the machine away before heading towards the door.
Henry took the time he had to brush his teeth and washed his face before changing into a different clothes. By the time he was done, Gemma came back with the paper he had requested and handed Henry the pen in her hand for him to sign.
"Can I ask you for another favor?" Henry asks as soon as he's done signing. "Sure." She says cheerily and watched as Henry gathered the envelopes in her hand and handed it her. "Can you give this to Cash." He handed her the enveloped with the top name labelled Alex in his own handwriting.
She eyed the envelopes in her hand that made her frowned but didn't questioned Henry any further. "Tall, built and handsome. Bet I would." Gemma teased but Henry already glared back at her. "Careful, his girlfriend might cut you." Henry warned but she only scoffed. "I ain't afraid of a kitty bite!" She spat taking the form back from Henry along with the envelopes in her arm.
"She's not a- whatever Gemma. Nice knowing you." Henry stopped from entertaining her fantasy before grabbing the box and his duffle bag over his shoulder. He was wearing his normal plain grey long sleeves shirts with his black jeans that Alex bought. He wore the same hoodie he had for the hundred times over before leaving the room.
Right before he reached the door, he turned to face Gemma cleaning up his bed when he spoke. "Do you know which floor is the NICU?" Henry asks and she turned to face him. "Second. Just passed the maternity and the labor room and you'll find the NICU right after the nursery." She instructed which Henry smiled and thanked her.
Henry left the ward feeling his whole body being weighted down by his own decision. He was pissed when Alex left but now his decision felt selfish and one sided. He never discuss it with anyone other than himself but he felt like he needed to make this decision for himself and no one else should get involved.
He imagined the look on their faces, each one of them, Alex especially when they got his letters that made him retracts and wishes he could pull back everything. But the truth is, he was done with everything that he had caused since he got here.
He should have never escaped the Broadmoor.
He should have never let Pez helped him escaped otherwise he might have been alive these days.
He should have never fall in love.
He should have never live.
He should have never survived.
He should have never lived.
The words echoed in his mind as he absentmindedly walked towards the NICU. His feet stopped immediately just as he passed the nursery that has bassinets of babies lining up by the large window that made his heart dropped.
The thought finally hits him. He might never see her grew up. He might never hear her laughs or watched her becoming the strongest woman he knew she'd be one day. He gave up all of this just so he could find peace on his own.
He didn't realized he was staring into the crates of babies in front of him when someone cleared their throat besides him.
"Which one is yours?"
Henry turned to his side sharply, surprised by her question when he realized it was one of the nurses working there. "Uhm- neither." He says and noticed how her face dropped by his words. Henry recalls that he is a man walking around the maternity ward by his own looking at babies that doesn't belong to him.
"No, no! Sorry. I am not a bad guy. I just- here." He handed her the box he had in his arm that surprised her when Henry shoved it into her hesitantly.
"There's a baby in NICU that belong to one of my friend. Zahra Bankston and her husband Shaan. I know they might not want people to see their daughter just yet but can you please give this to her. It's a gift." Henry explained, eyes focused on the box in her hand. It was silly too see such precious gifts stored inside the Nike shoe box that belongs to Alex.
"Why don't you give it to them yourself? If they were truly your friend." She asks but Henry could feel the judgment from her eyes still in disbelief.
"I was the reason why their daughter born rather early. I don't think anyone would want to see the person that puts your kid's life in danger." Henry says humbly, gaze falls on the floor between him and the nurse.
She was silent for a while before she sighed, hugging the box closer to her chest.
"It's nice of you to give her a gift. I am pretty sure your friend don't think of you that way." She tried to reassure him but Henry only smiled weakly before thanking her.
He watched as she carried the box inside the NICU right after Henry thanked her and he was left alone in the empty hallway with the sound of muffled crying babies over the other side of the window. He smiled, trying not to break into more tears before he left.
.
"What's going on?" Zahra asks as soon as she stepped out of NICU to look for Shaan after he got that call. Shaan turned to face her with eyes red in tears that made her dropped her frustration over him earlier.
"They found her." He whispered, voice breaking and Zahra didn't have to ask twice to know that she is not alright. But Shaan confirmed it by shaking his head lightly.
"She's downstair at the morgue. We can see her if you want." He says but to his surprise, she shook her head back at him. "Maybe tomorrow. Its late." She whispered.
"I'm sorry Zar. For everything." Shaan starts, causing Zahra to look up from the floor towards his face with a frowned between her brows. "Why were you sorry?" She asks.
Shaan swallowed his throat painfully holding his phone tight between his palms keeping his gaze down on the floor trying to find a better words to explain what he felt right now. "I feel like- I feel like everything is falling apart." His voice breaks entirely and Zahra never see her husband felt this defeated before.
"I let you down. I let our daughter down. Most importantly, I failed Henry. I told him no matter what I would protect him but I didn't realized I have to make that choice between you both and him." He starts, letting tears falls on his cheek.
"That despite everything, I can't help worrying about him more than our daughter." He continues, finally lifting his gaze towards Zahra standing right before him. She sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. Her stomach had deflated a lot more these days after her birth and she looks almost like her old self.
"I know." She whispered. Her gaze softened, taking slower stride closer towards her husband. "That despite everything, I can't help worrying about him too. More now that June is- " she paused, eyes focused on Shaan's crinkled shirt.
"I don't know how to help him." He whispered with a breaking voice that he tried desperately to hide.
"How about we go home tonight and sleep on it. Its been a while since we got home. Your a mess and I need shower - asap." She gestured her dirty hair that made Shaan broke into a laugh bitterly.
"Then tomorrow we will see her and Henry, together." Zahra suggested that made Shaan finally looked up to her face with a smile curved on his lips. "Thank you Zar." He whispered, wrapping his arms around her into a tight hug. Zahra returned the hug equally, with her arms draped along his waist with her nose buried deep into the crook of his neck. They both exhaled longly in relief after the tension had been released.
They let the nurse know that they both leaving for the night after almost a week staying in the hospital waiting room to be with their daughter even though the nurse attempt to get them home. She smiled, letting them know that their daughter in good hands as they both walked out the NICU after blowing kisses over the incubator towards her. Promising her that they would be back in the morning.
.
When the morning lights came, they both never felt anymore fresher. Both showered and dressed, grabbing more stuffs for her from the nursery when Zahra finally stopped by Henry's room that she had completely forgotten about the situation in the bathroom.
She opened the door, welcoming the coldness and the silence when she realized everything is in placed. Cash came by last night to grab more things for Henry and Alex but she was too tired to even ask about them so she went straight to bed.
To her surprised, the bathroom is cleaned and the mirror had been replaced when Shaan appeared on the doorway. "I had it cleaned and replaced. Couldn't bear coming home to see that again." He claimed, eyes focused on the broken images of Henry half alive on the floor, bleeding. They would never scrub that image away from their mind, ever.
"Lets go see those kids shall we?" Zahra says and Shaan smiled, offering his hand for her. She accepted it with a smile as he pulled her away from the room, closing the door behind her.
They made their first stop at the NICU first after breakfast and coffee. She smiled when she saw her kicking into her blankets with her tiniest feet when a nurse approached them.
"She's a kicker. You both should signed her into a soccer team soon." She says jokingly that made both Shaan and Zahra smiled, then laughing at her. "First I need to educate her that it is called football and not that soccer nonsense." Shaan replied that made Zahra clicked her tongue before smacking his arm playfully.
"They said she might be out of incubator soon, probably tomorrow or sooner we hope. Her vitals are better and she barely needs the oxygen anymore. So skin to skin soon parent." The nurse continues that made Shaan and Zahra smiled widely at her.
"Have we got a name for her yet?" She asks charting down her vitals as they kept staring at her sucking on her bandaged fist. "We didn't have time for it yet." Zahra says shyly thinking she should prepared those months prior but she hasn't got the right name for her just yet.
She smiled at her staring back at them with those beautiful dark eyes and darks locks over her head. Her feet accidentally kicked on the shoe box underneath her incubator that caught her attention. She then raised it over her lap, eyes looking back at Shaan sharing same expression as her.
"What's this?" She asks the nurse as Shaan crouching down next to her.
"Ooh! Completely forgot about it. There was a guy came by earlier this morning and asked me to drop this for you both. Said he's your friend." She explained that made the suspicious grew between them. Shaan was already halfway grabbing the box from her in case it was a trap or anything before she continues.
"He looks so sad when he thought I was thinking that he's a pervert but actually being the nicest human being I have ever met." She says causing frown to form further on their faces. "Why would you say that?" Shaan asks.
"Because he didn't want to see you guys thinking that he's the reason for your baby to be delivered early." She explained that made it clicked.
"Tall, blonde and eyes like he hasn't slept for years?" Shaan asks that made her nod, smiling back at him. "Yup." She popped the P deliberately before leaving them both.
Zahra's gaze returned over the box in her lap before she opened it and smiled when she saw the yellow blanket that Henry had left for them. She pulled the blanket off the box and stroked the fabric between her fingers. It was so soft and she would love cuddling her daughter in it.
Her gaze went back into the box when she saw the beanie Henry desperately crocheted with her that one evening at their house. His eyes were so focused on getting the stitches perfect that Zahra worried he might pop a vein between his eyes.
But it wasn't the beanie that caught her eyes but rather the sewn name across the middle that caught her breath.
Her eyes began to fill with tears as her thumb stroke along the line of the stitched name.
Ellie
Perfect name for their perfect daughter. The strongest name they could think of and also it belong to the strongest woman she ever met in her life. Alex's mum.
"Its perfect for her." She cried as she handed the beanie to Shaan that made him cupped his palm over his mouth. Shaan had his arm wrapped around her shoulder, leaning his temple against her head softly as they both eyed the beanie with their daughter's name.
"Can we go see him now." Shaan asks that made Zahra smiled, nodding back at him. She put everything back in the box and placed it under her daughter's incubator before rushing out of the NICU to see Henry with her husband in tail.
By the time they arrived, Henry's room had been swept cleaned by the housekeeper and the linen on his bed had disappeared. "Where is the patient?" Shaan asks and the housekeeper shrugged her shoulders at him. "Gone. I don't know. Ask the nurse." She says pointing at the nurse counter.
They turned and rushed towards the counter when they spotted Cash standing by the counter itself with gaze focused on a stack of envelopes in his hand.
"Cash where's Henry?" He asks, but noticed the look on his face dropped entirely when he asks. "What is it?" Zahra asks.
"I think Henry- left." He says handing them their envelope that had their name written over it. Shaan frowned, staring at the envelope in his hand before he snatched it opened.
He and Zahra shared the letter in their hand as they read it together.
Dear Shaan, Zahra.
There is no words to explain how much you both meant to me. I grew up knowing no love ever come from my family after my parents death moreover getting betrayed by one really haunts me entirely. But I get the chance to be taken care by you both and I felt like being loved by my parents again. You both are the closest thing I had to feel that parental love in this life. Yet I have ruined it again with my own insecurities.
I could not express how completely and utterly sorry I am for what happened. From your daughter's traumatic birth to losing June, I can't kept this grief anymore in me. I do hope you both have a heart to forgive me one day and maybe, if fate would be any kinder towards me, we would see each other again.
Ellie would be the greatest gift in your life. Cherished her, love her, never let her know what pain felt like in this life having no one to go to when she needed it the most. Never let her know darkness of crying alone in her room thinking she wasn't love. She was loved before she'd even born and I am proud to be able to love her even before meeting her.
In time, I wouldn't mind if you leave a piece of me in her life. Let her know that I love her and I am sorry for not be able to watch her grow up to be the beautiful woman I knew she'd be one day. Just like her mum.
Please look after Alex for me. Don't let him drowned in his guilt. It wasn't anyone's fault that shitty thing happened to us. But I feel this is the best way for all of us. My decision to leave was purely mine and I hope you both would respects that.
Love always, Henry.
Tears were streaming down their faces as they finished the letter in hand. Shaan darted his gaze towards Cash still standing before them when they realized there are more letters in his hand.
"For Nora and Alex." He says and they both nodded.
"Should we go look for him?" Shaan asks but Cash only lowered his gaze. "I don't know where to start. I have to deliver this first. The nurse said he has been gone since six in the morning. Signed the risk paper and left." Cash explained.
"We should go see Alex." Zahra suggested that made them both nodded and followed her as she pressed the elevator button for Alex's floor. The door opened seconds later and they all rushed in. Cash slammed the button rather harshly forcing it to close. Silence followed by quiet sniffles were the only thing they could hear among them other than the fact their heart is racing in their chests.
.
The hallway was longer than they remembered and Zahra was wheeled by Cash as they got closer to Alex's room. They didn't want her to rush on her walk after only days after giving birth, hence the wheelchair is just waiting by the corner for them after they got off the elevator and Cash grabbed it immediately.
Alex's room was at the end of the hall just right at the corner when Shaan knocked, not wasting time to wait for him to answer before letting Cash pushed Zahra inside the room.
The room was completely silent, only the sound of the busy rounds from the nurse and the doctor were heard when Zahra realized Alex is probably still asleep with his back facing them. Cash stopped the wheelchair by the middle of the room and Zahra didn't waste time before she stood up and headed straight to Alex in bed.
She sat by his side, hands softly palming on his arm when Alex turned to face her. His gaze widened by her presence before Alex raised carefully and wrapped his arms around her. "She's gone." He whispered, like a child clinging on to their mum when they lost a toy. Zahra exhaled, stroking his back softly with her palms.
"I know darling. I know." She whispered letting Alex sobs on her shoulder.
It took him a while before finally pulling away from her only because he felt pain on his abdomen that made Zahra forced him to lay back on his pillow. He stared at the space between them, filling the silence invading the room despite there are four people are in the room right now.
"We need to start making arrangements." Alex suddenly whispered, rubbing his palm over his face. Cash grabbed the bag he got from the apartment and Shaan's place yesterday and starts putting Alex's cheque book and iPad on the table for him.
"We'll talk about this later." Shaan caught Alex's and Cash's gaze shot at him in disbelief like he just grew another head. They both frowned, continued on planning for the funeral when Zahra suddenly spoke.
"Have you talk to Henry?" Zahra asks abruptly but her eyes carefully searching for Alex for any sign of worry. But instead, she saw him lowered his gaze down setting iPad down on the table. He then later shifted his gaze towards the window next to him, eyes focused on the clear sky above before slowly shook his head.
"He came by last night, I told him I want to be alone." Alex says before they all sighed, exchanging glances at each other that made him shot a look at them.
"What?" He asks confused by their reaction.
"Uhm- he left this, for you." Cash handed him the envelope that Alex hesitated but eventually he took it between his fingers. He eyed both Shaan and Zahra's eyes are swollen like they had been crying before they got here.
"What's going on?" He asks still holding the envelope between his finger.
"Read it. Then we talk." Shaan says pulling the chair for him to sit next to Zahra's leg. Alex broke the sealed and immediately pulled out the letter before a couple of his and Henry's wedding rings falls on his lap. He eyed them as he clutched the rings in his palm before unfolding the paper with Henry's scribbled handwriting that looks painfully written.
Dearest Alex,
I know you must have felt confused right now but I assure you that none of this was your fault. You told me to leave you alone and I understood completely love. I understand how much grief overcomes someone when they lost their loved ones, especially their darling sister. I knew that feeling well, I have experienced that same grief years ago and I too pushed everyone away at times.
I am so sorry for your loss and there is no words to describe this feeling. What I can tell you is that, you are surrounded by people who loves you that would eventually bring you back from the dark cloud that confined yourself with. I can't tell you that it would get better cause it doesn't. Time does helps but time also felt like eternity when it comes to grief.
There would be time where you think you'd overcome that feeling of losing her. You might able to get out of the bed, putting on your clothes again and have food without blaming yourself for what happened but sometimes, that grief would hits your right back, knocking air out of your lungs that you can't breathe, you can't think and you can't even speak.
Just remember that you are loved Alex. By all the people around you right now. Look at their faces when you think you want to end it all. See how much grief would it be on their faces when you did. I know its easier said than done but Alex, dear Alex, you are not alone. Not like I was.
I love you too much it hurts.
You said that to me when you got hurt. I wished you knew how much it hurts me when I fall in love with you. Thinking that I never deserved your love and yet, you crawled right back, pulling me from the depth each time to prove me that I belong. I love you too much that it hurts me when I caught your scent around me. It hurts me deeply when I was the reason for you to lose your sister and I can never live knowing each time you looked at me, all you would see was your sister didn't survive it.
I'm so sorry Alex. I am truly and utterly sorry for everything that happened in your life. Ever since I entered it, I have caused too much trouble and too much heartache I couldn't possibly live in it anymore. I don't see how I'm going to fit in among the people that whenever I see, I would wished she was here, where she'd belong.
But I promise you one thing love. That my love for you would never dissipate. I would love you even if I couldn't have you in this life, I would carry that love for the next. Perhaps if fate would be any kinder on the next life, just know that I am looking forward to fall in love with you again. Over and over again.
But Alex, if love found you again, with someone else other than me, I want you to grab it. Hold it in your heart and let it healed what I have broke. Don't wait for me. Don't expect me to come home. Don't let it ruin your life. If there is another person that made you happy as I did, hold on to it. Never let it go.
I love you thousand more. More than life itself. Just know that this hard decision was needed for both of us and for everyone's sake. I hope you would respect me enough to let me go.
All my love,
Henry.
Alex clutched on the rings in his palm as he dropped the letter in his hand right over his lap. "Get my coat." He whispered but Cash and Shaan were ready to stop him.
"Alex, he had been gone since dawn. He could be anywhere right now." Shaan tried to reason but Alex was already out of the bed but falls back when he winced at the pain stabbing his side. "I said, GET MY COAT!" He yelled, slamming his fist hard on the side table causing it to rattle.
They all jumped by his rather loud voice and the banged that made Cash sighed, handing him the coat behind him. "Do you have anywhere in mind genius? Or you want us to wander around the city looking for him like a ghost?" Cash asks sarcastically but Alex couldn't care less of his snide remarks to think about answering it.
"Train, bus, airport. I don't fucking care. Start somewhere." He says as he stepped forward when Zahra stopped him.
"If you found him, tell him I thanked him for the gifts and I will be waiting for him to come home." Zahra says but Alex couldn't care less to asks further questions and decides to leave the room with Cash following behind closely.
