A normal day in Leafclan had begon. Cindertail, a she-cat of Leafclan, padded into camp with a rabbit in her mouth. She walked over to the fresh kill pile and places it down. She smiled and picked up a mouse. She walked over and laid down by her best friend, Iceclaw. "Hey Cindertail." He meowed. "Hi." She meowed. She took a bite of the mouse. "Did you hear Speckeldheart is going to have kits?" He asked her. "Well now I have!" She laughed. He laughed. "Have you ever thought about having kits?" He asked her blinking his eyes. "No." She meowed looking at him. "ALL CATS OLD ENONOUGH TO CATCH THEIR OWN PREY MEET UNDER HIGHROCKS FOR A CLAN MEETING!" Yowled Stripestar. "We better go." Meowed Cindertail running off. Iceclaw ran after. "The deputy, Tigerstep, had died in a fox attack. Gasps filled the camp. "I have selected a new deputy, Cindertail can you step forward." He meowed. She padded to his leader. "Will you be the clan deputy?" He asked her. "I shall." She meowed. "CLAN MEETING OVER!" he yowled. She padded back over "Hello deputy." Laughed Iceclaw. "Very funny." She meowed. "So what do we do now?" He asked her. "Take a walk?" She asked him. "I have to tell her I want to be her mate before it is to late" he thought.
