Hayden seems uneasy since he got an alert from Freya's number. His mind tells him not to go because that's the order he's supposed to follow. However, his heart says that he can trust Freya. There might be urgent meeting for the team members. After an hour of considering the pros and cons, and thinking of if he should follow his guts or not, Hayden decides to ask the other members to come with him and follow through the alert.

He drives his red Camaro to pick up Jane first who's closest to his place. Besides asking Jane to come with him is so easy. She's the type who's always up for anything. She's the only daughter of her family and she feels lonely all the time.

"Thanks God!" Jane gets in the front seat next to Hayden. "My parents are out of town. I have no one to go out with. I really was about to go by myself when I got the alert. I didn't really care if it's a joke. I'm just thinking I could spend a night out in the nature."

Hayden just nods at what she says. "Why didn't you just tell me you wanted to go? You could have save me the hour of considering. Now we need to convince The Cabrera siblings to come with us."

They engage in easy conversations along the way. Jane is so friendly and bubbly. She's the most genuinely excited to be in the team. The first day they had a meeting, she already befriended every member. Her bright and cooperative personality was the biggest point Alexander saw in her. He thought the team could use some positive energy. Some of them are pretty impulsive, temperamental and might be fatalist but they have the skills and dedication. That doesn't mean Jane doesn't have the skill. She's capable and has the potential to do more.

"So why did you sign up for this in the first place?" before Hayden can answer, she talks more. "You have a brother right? He's not interested to join?"

"My father is the main reason. I want to know what happened to him. If he's here, he would tell me to join this. He made it his responsibility to keep peace in this town." He looks at her as he says the last word and then back focus on his wheel.

"Richard Ford was a noble man. I remember when your father helped me up when I fell from my bike in the park. I was five and I think my mom was getting something at the shop near the park. I kept crying but he stayed there to calm me until my mom came. He'd be proud of you Hayden." She pats his shoulder.

"Thank you." Hayden continues. "And as my brother, he's too careless for his own good. He doesn't give a damn about anything. But he's a good boy when he wants to."

They arrive at where the Cabrera live. Jane unclasps her seatbelt and says to Hayden. "Let me talk to them. You just stay here." However, in a few minutes Jane comes back by herself. Hayden looks worried.

"They're not home. We'll just call them and tell them on the way. Freya must be waiting for us." Jane hops in her seat quickly.

On the other place, Freya and Jamie try to find cover. Jamie's arm is hurt but it seems that the arrow stuck in it is what keeps him from bleeding. Despite having his arm hurt, he still tries to protect her by having his arms around her back when they walk out of the river to find cover under the nearest tree.

"Let me see your wound. I can take care of that." She tries her best not to make the wound worse. She pulls it as careful as she can though it still causes bleeding. Jamie hands her the aid kit he brings in his backpack. Freya takes a deep breathe at the sight of the blood. She doesn't realize she's holding his arm a little too tight. She inhales and exhales while looking at his wounded arm.

"Hey you can do this. It's a small wound. Just wrap it up or let me wrap it up myself since you've hold my hand a little too long and tight. We might be still in danger." He carefully touches her hand. She opens her eyes and pulls off her hands of his hand and arm.

"I'll check my guns. I'm into guns these days. You bring your crossbow set?" Freya pours all the things in her handbag which are a set of knife, stakes and guns. "A Milano has to be prepared whenever and wherever we go." She's setting a knife under her right and left sleeve with sheath that can be attached on around the wrist. Then she has two guns fully loaded with custom made wood bullet. "You can take the stakes. I'm good with these. Are you sure your arm is strong enough now to take the crossbow?"

Jamie flexes his left arm after he wrapped his wound. He takes out his complete set of crossbow and attaches a stake in sheath on each of his leg. Freya senses are always on. She can hear random moves in different spot around them but two people moving sounds steady and are approaching them.

Freya turns and someone attacks her in a hug. "Oh! Freya!" Jane runs to give Freya a light hug. "We came here as soon as we could. Hayden believed that something bad might be happening to you with that alert. I agreed with him."

Freya turns to see Hayden who's standing in silence. "I know I can count on you Hayden. You got strong guts. Now you two get ready." She taps Jamie's back. "Do you bring more weapons?"

"Wait what's going on here?" Jane is confused.

Jamie looks stunned. "Freya what did you do? Did you alert them to come here?" he pulls Freya by the arm so he can talk to her in private. He leans in close to whisper to her ear. "They have not been trained. You're putting their lives at risk."

"We don't have time for this, Walker. They're here now. You and I will protect them." She takes off her hand off his hold.

Freya has taken out all of Jamie's stuff of his backpack. "Jane!" she throws a bigger stake than Freya's stakes at her and Jane catches it with one hand. "Here take this with you. You can shoot right?" she gives one of her guns to her. Jane keeps the stake in her inside pocket jacket.

Hayden takes two big stakes. He's skilled on hand to hand combat. Stakes would suffice for him. Freya decides how they split up. "Walker, take Jane with you. Hayden, you go with me."

To complicate the matter, Hayden shows his phone where it's connected by a designed tracker to all members of the group so they know each other where they are. "The Cabrera are on the way close to here."
