Nightmares
I remember waking up quite a few times, due to nightmares, back when we were in the house. The first week after the second Soul-sucker (as Dad calls them) attack especially. I would wake up screaming, in tears and feeling the same pain from the attacks every time. Of course, I had no idea that it was a side effect of my soul starting to shatter. The nightmares I mean. Jeez, I realize this would probably be so confusing to someone like you, just reading this. Man. I have a lot of explaining to do. Heh. Anyway, the nightmares weren't just about the Soul-suckers. I didn't know it then but I was actually having nightmares about alternative timelines. But I didn't know until now that they were actually happening. Oh jeez, I'm confusing you again aren't I? Just... Uh... Just bare with me...
I had been sleeping with Blue, because he was the only one who could calm me down after one of my nightmares. But this one... It woke all of my brothers... It scared me half to death. So bad that I had some how started using my powers in my sleep.

"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I remember screeching, as I shot up from the loft bed, that Blue and I had been sharing, one night. I was breathing hard and fast and gasping for air. And when I looked to the side, Blue wasn't there. At this point in my life, tears were pretty much routine after a nightmare. And without Blue I was scared out of my mind. So I sat there in the dark and silently let my tears fall to the blanket. I was so shaken, I was to scared to go back to sleep. Then I felt the loft shake and I pulled the comforter to my face. Luckily it was only Papyrus. I breathed a sigh of relief and dropped the comforter. But Papyrus looked concerned.
"Cappy? Are you okay?" Papyrus whispered softly. I shook my head. "Do you want me to take you down to the others?" Papyrus asked. I nodded, and crawled to him. Then he grabbed me from the loft and held me in his arms, where, to my dismay, I began to cry again. Papyrus tried his best to comfort me. But I was still much to scared to respond to his efforts. When Papyrus and I finally reached the living room, down stairs, we found all my brothers, trying to use their magic to stop random items that were flying all over the room. I looked to Papyrus confused. "This all started right after you screamed." Papyrus explained. I nodded though I really didn't understand. It took a few moments, but eventually everything was settled, and Papyrus carried me into the living room. And much to my surprise, everyone cleared a space for him to sit. It was a minute before anyone said anything. And I was thankful that they weren't pestering me for waking them up at 3:00 in the morning.
"So. What was this one about, Cap?" Sans asked finally. I cringed.
"I don't really want to talk about this one..." I croaked.
"Well we can't help you, if you don't tell us." Sans reasoned. I sighed.
"Um... Well... This one started in... I'm not really sure where... Actually..." I started, trying to remember my dream, "but it was white. Really white. And endless... It was endless too. Umm... It was a while before I really came across anything... It seemed like forever... But then out of nowhere, 4 or 5 blue string things latched onto my soul. I couldn't control myself. And... And... I... Started... K-k-" I stopped, and gulped down my fear. "Killing people. No. Not people. T-they weren't human. Anyhow, they begged and pleaded for me not to, but all I could do was sit on the side lines and watch myself kill all these innocent creatures. I tried, I really did, but I just couldn't stop. Soon I had killed everyone. And I came face to face with..." I stopped, to ashamed that I had seen what I had in the dream.
"Face to face with?" Sans asked, seriously. I didn't respond. "Come on, Cap, we're trying to help."
"I-I-I can't..." I gasped, "I-I can't tell you... H-he said he'd find me if I did. H-he said he'd f-find me and make me do it to e-everyone I cared about If I told anyone..." I cried. I didn't see it, but I knew that my brothers were looking at each other trying to figure it out. I know because no one said a word for a good 15 minutes.
"Cap, it's okay it was just a dream." Sans reasoned.
"B-ut it felt so real." I coughed.
"Cap. I don't like making promises, you know that. But I will make you this one. We will not ever let anyone hurt you or us." Sans replied. And that broke me.
"HE SAID YOU'D SAY THAT!!" I cried.
"P-p-please. Please don't make me tell you. I d-don't want to do it again. Especially not to you guys. I love you guys. Please." I begged and started to squeeze Papyrus tightly in a hug.
"Ple-ase" I hiccuped.
"Cap, we hate seeing you like this. Just tell us so we can help you." Sans stated. I gulped.
"I-I-it was... You... S-Sans.... Well not you you...B-but it was another one of you...But it was all black and glitchy. And it had red eyes...I-I'm scared guys." I croaked, through Papyrus's ribs, since I had buried my face in them. I fear I might have struck some fear into my brothers too, because the room was silent for a while. "I-I-I'm sorry..." I apologized.
"Shhh. Just try to get some rest okay, Cap. We are all right here if you get scared again okay?" Sans stated. I yawned and snuggled into Papyrus's collarbone.
"O-o-okay.... Sans...." I mumbled. The last thing I remember before I drifted off to sleep again was all my brothers, all saying the same thing.
"We love you too, Capri."

"I w-w-w-warned you kid."
"I begged them not to make me! Please!"
"S-s-s-sorry Kiddo, b-but my hands a-are tied."
