Its all good

This... This is the moment that things change for me... pretty much from that moment on. But if I was given the choice to go back and change it... I wouldn't. I like to think this moment brought us closer together as a family.

"Come on buddy, just a little faster..." I huffed.

I guess I should explain something to you. When I over use my power, I get drained really quickly. Like... dead tired. Though, I didn't know that.

"C-come on... just... just a little... more.." I gasped. Thats when I started to feel it. My head was dizzy, and my vision blurring. But I made the horrible mistake of shaking it off and continuing. And then... Black... Honestly... black. Papyrus says I lost a lot of blood that day. Dark said that I scared the crap out of everyone. What they didn't tell me was that... well I'd need a mirror to know what really happened to me. At first my face just kinda tingled and stung... mostly numb when I woke up. Then my neck felt weird. I tried to sit up, but my body wouldn't let me. So I groaned. My vision was blurry when I looked around. Slowly it got better. I could see my brothers talking in the hallway, I must not have groaned very loud because it looked like they had been talking their for a while. I tried to sit up again. It did work out. I fell off my bed with a loud thud and gasped. That got their attention.

"Cap! Cap are you alright?" Red asked. I kinda just looked at him in pain and utter agony. Red used his magic to flip me over and that made me screech in pain. "Oh, jeez, oh, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Dad. DAD! Cap is awake, but she's hurt, bad!" Red yelled. I whimpered quietly until Dadswap got to my room.

"Dearest, are you alright? Cappy? Honey?" Dadswap asked, getting more concerned with each word. He shook me a little and I looked up at him. I knew I was crying. But... For whatever reason I couldn't feel it on the left side of my face. Dadswap picked me up and cradled me in his arms. "Oh honey." Dadswap announced, standing up. He walked me down stairs, and my brothers followed closely behind him, and Ink and Error weren't to far behind them.

"Swap..." I whispered. "Swap I'm scared."

"I know honey. Sit tight." Dadswap replied. I was set down on the couch and Dad took a good look at me.

"Daddy, I cant feel my face." I croaked.

"Where cant you feel it?" Dad asked. I brought my hand up to my left cheek and eye. It was oddly rough. I started to panic.

"W-where's my skin?" I asked. I kept feeling around. "It's-It's not there. Daddy MY SKIN IS GONE!"

Dad nodded.

"Deep breaths Capri." Dad announced. I started to take deep breaths. "Good. Now honey. I'm going to try to tell you this calmly. When you where on your blaster, you're body couldn't handle all the power you pushing through it, so it escaped through the only place it could, causing your skin and muscles and nerves to burn away, so the magic could get through. Unfortunately, the effects were... Severe, and well... Now you look like your brothers... Partly." Dad explained. My eyes widened.

"I... My... No... So... That means..." I sputtered. My head was going 100 miles a second. Magic. Face. Burned. Brothers. "Am I... Do I look...?" I asked. I looked to my brothers. I couldn't read them. Mostly because they had amazing poker faces (Being skeletons and all.) I was lifted by some magic and then held at arms length away from Papyrus so he could get a good look. He glanced at Sans nervously and then looked back to me.

"On the bright side, at least now you can tell we are related." Sans joked. I kept a straight face.

"This. Is. So..." I started. I bit back my laughter and looked to all of my brothers smiling, "AWESOME!!" I laughed finally. "I can't believe it! I mean, at first it feels kinda weird not having sensory nerves in part of my face, but, after a while it grows on you. This is great!" I announced with a giggle. Everyone looked at me.

"Y-you aren't upset?" Dad asked. Papyrus put me down.

"Why would I be? I was originally a skeleton before I came to this timeline, was I not? Besides, Core Frisk told me this would happen- oh shoot... Probably shouldn't have said that... Uh... But anyway... The point is I thought it would be much worse." I explained.

"What do you mean much worse?" Dad asked.

"A-a-and hold on there a second Cap, d-d-did I you say Core Frisk?" Error asked.

"Who? What?" I announced acting clueless, like Frisk had told me to do if this situation came up.

"Capri." Dad announced sternly. Alright time to come clean. Sorry Frisk.

"So... Um... In my dream last night, I met this person named Core Frisk... And I asked them about my birthday... Long story short, the way they put it made it sound like I was going to die. But, turns out to be just a little war wound." I explained.

"Why didn't you tell anyone sooner" Ink asked.

"I didn't believe them until the end of the dream... And I wanted to make sure if today was my last day with you... I left without any heartbreak." I explained. My words seemed to fill the room with sadness. Because everyone shut up. "I... I'm sorry. Heh. This seems to be a thing that happens a lot with me." I sighed. My brothers and the Gasters and Error and Ink smiled.

"Well hey, this is your birthday isn't it, and we still have... Oh... 3 hours. Let's have a good time while we still can!" Sans announced, and grabbed my arm. I laughed.

I learned that I should always tell everyone about my dreams and that my brothers pick out the best last minute birthday presents.
