Birthday

And now, because you can only assume that good things happen to me, I'm going to skip all the way to my 13th birthday. Why? because... I don't have a reason why really... But who cares?! Anywho.

I got up that morning and looked at my calendar. The day circled in red, had finally arrived. January 5th. Now to any sane person, that was just a normal day, nothing special. To me, it was the most important day of my life so far. Why? well after finding out that I had been born two years earlier then my birth certificate says in this timeline, (I know because, for some reason the gasters had my birth certificate in their files... Don't ask me how I found it.) I did the math and found out that this year I'd be turning 13! I'd finally be a teenager. Now... To many people thats not saying much. But try to keep in mind that I haven't been celebrating my birthday since I was born. It had always reminded me of how I didn't have anyone but myself to count on. Even at a small age the only thing that the.... No... I don't want to address that place again. Uh. 13th birthday was what I was getting at, right?

So I cross out the day on my calendar and rushed down stairs. I had been thinking to myself that surely the Gasters would remember my birthday, they had helped birth me after all. Everyone was already awake, even Sans. And he never wakes up early. For some reason this was a good sign to me. I walked and sat down at the table beaming. OuterDad looked at me a chuckled.

"Good morning, Capricorn." OuterDad announced. I nodded to him. Ink and Error pushed a card my way. It had the words 'Happy Birthday' plastered all over the front. And thats when my brothers started to take notice that something was up.UnderDad spun around from the stove and ran to me and hugged me around the shoulders.

"Oh Dearest! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" UnderDad announced. I laughed. My brothers looked at me and then looked to their cereal bowls in shame. UnderDad released me and snapped. A wrapped present with blue wrapping paper and a red bow popped into place right in front of me. "Now open your present." UnderDad told me. I nodded and ripped it open. My brothers lower jaws unhinged from their upper jaws.

"Whoa." I smiled.

"That belonged to your mother, Aerial." Dad announced. I pulled out the item. It was a small black outfit, that of one used for combat, but it was just small enough for me to have a little growing room. Okay a lot of growing room. "She said that if she ever had a girl, she wanted her to have it" Dad explained.

"Wait wait wait, why does little miss get battle gear? she's barely 10!"

"Actually I'm 13 as of today" I commented.

"Wait what?!"

"She's correct about that, though how she knows..." Dad announced. I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Um... there may or may not be a missing paper from your files..." I replied. "I...er... stumbled upon it when I was looking for a dictionary... then did the math... and... well... surprise?" I asked. Dad looked at me sternly.

"Indeed." Dad stated seriously. I took my hand out of my pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper.

"You... um... may want this back..." I announced, holding it out to him. "On the bright side, now I know all my brothers birthdays." I added with a shrug. None of my brothers looked at me now.

"So what are we doing for your special day kiddo?"  Dadfell asked.

"Define 'we'" I replied.

"You, me, your brothers, your friends, and the other Gasters." Dadfell replied in an obvious tone.

"Heh. Thats what I was afraid of." I announced with a sigh and then got up from the table. "I promised my blaster I'd practice with him today." I explained snapping my fingers. My blaster popped out of thin air and was nudging me. "H-hey! give me a sec, okay, I'll be right  out." I laughed petting my blaster on his muscle then pointing to the front door. "Y-you aren't mad are you? I didn't think anyone would remember..."

"Well when your done you'll come back right, Cappy?" Blue asked. I walked toward the door.

"Of course, Blue." I replied

"You promise?" Blue asked.

"Would it make you feel better if I let you come with me ?" I asked. Blue perked up and jumped down from his seat. "Anyone else care to tag along?" I asked opening the door for Blue. "My blaster could use an audience" instantly, everyone got up from the table and I laughed. "Alright, everyone. Just try to keep up, Deal?" I asked and ave a smirk to my blaster. Of course, my brothers, being the cocky skeletons they are, snorted, but humored me anyhow.

"Yeah, sure Cap." Sans announced with a shoulder shrug.

"Okay, as long as you can." I shrugged. I looked to my blaster and nodded. I then ran at a tree and jumped off it on to my blasters head and snapped, making my feet lock into a stationary position.

"I don't remember teaching you that" Ink announced.

"Oh, thats cause you didn't, My blaster and I figured it out. Heh. See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!" I laughed, and took off as fast as we could go. My blaster and I had been practicing this little "trick" for a little while now, and so far I've only fallen off twice. We were like... unqualified, qualified pros! you see not only do I have the magic lock my feet into position thing on my blaster, but I also have a really cool bit and reign. So there was no chance, in all of the timelines, I would fall. Hence the word WAS...
