Rushed chapter I'm so sorry
*
SSeokjin didn't understand why his life was so complicated, it was a puzzle of fortune and misfortune. He lost his clan when he was barely ten years old, got the worst experience as an omega when he was still a baby pup, he fell in love and met his soul-mate that happened to be the prince of the east kingdom.
When he finally could open up himself, going back to the kingdom where he belonged; the war broke out.
Both Taehyung and Seokjin arrived at the kingdom in the dawn after staying in Hani's motel for a night. When they were back, the King summoned the crown prince almost immediately.
Seokjin stood at the back of the room, listening to the news. He widened his eyes even when he already knew where this would go, Taehyung would be going to the front line with the troops to help Jungkook's kingdom.
Being the perfect prince and the perfect knight; Taehyung would definitely join the war to support Jungkook.
"I will go too"
"No"
"Taehyung!"
"If I said no then it's a no!"
"I'm suitable to go!"
"I don't care if you're one of the best knights that can stand beside Hoseok or what hyung! This is a war and we fight not with a small kingdom but with the North-kingdom!"
"I know it's dangerous"
"That kingdom is one of the biggest kingdoms, they have the strongest army!"
"That's why I must go!"
"No!"
To put it simply, they had another big fight.
Seokjin was a good swordsman, despite the fact he is an omega. He trained to be one when he was a teenager because he was the prince's personal guard and he would be facing the assassin that targeted his prince when they were young.
Taehyung didn't let him go but the prince wasn't the king either. The prince went ten days earlier than Seokjin, the crown prince went with the general of their kingdom; Hoseok.
Yoongi stayed in the kingdom since he would be the one in charge if something happened with the King and the crown prince.
Seokjin tagged along with the third wave of east kingdom's army with his armours like the other army. He didn't know why but he had an intuition he must go, this war held something he searched for.
He didn't go to the front line where Taehyung and Jungkook along with the West and the East kingdom's kings stayed, he met the West's queen first.
"You know this will upset your mate," the queen said, Seokjin smiled sadly.
He knew this would be another disappointment for Taehyung, the fact that the prince refused to bring him together and made sure Seokjin stayed when he went to the front line made his point clearer.
Seokjin kneeled before the queen, leaving his seat, "I always wonder back then," the omega whispered, "how can someone as high as you often visit my clan?" the queen stiffened, putting down her teacup; she cupped Seokjin's cheek.
She eyed the omega, Seokjin's cheeks became rosy and she smiled, "you were so small back then, Seokjin-ah," she said, "your father must be so proud to see his son became this handsome."
Seokjin didn't get the answer he wanted, he expected a long story until the sunset down but the queen just answered, "Your father is my best friend."
It was when he heard their side was losing the battle and they needed aid, he went with the troops to the front line.
What he saw there was a disaster, people injured and the river of blood.
Jimin was the first to find him, noticing the omega even before he took off the helmet.
"What are you doing in here?!" the alpha snarled, gripping Seokjin's arms tightly, "go back to the kingdom now before Taehyung finds you!"
Seokjin shook his head, not after he saw the condition in the campsite. He could help the infirmary, bandaging the soldier, "no, I will stay in here."
Jimin growled but Seokjin pushed him away and went immediately to the white tent where the injured soldier stayed.
"You will be alright," he heard a familiar voice, Seokjin already took off his armour and wore a simple white shirt and black trousers; intending to help the medic in here.
The soldier on the bed cried, "thank you, thank you," the man chanted, Taehyung frowned and held the man's hand tightly, "for the glory of East kingdom," the soldier said one last time.
Seokjin saw how the soldier's hand fell limply beside his body; the open wound on his chest covered by the bloody bandage, "please take care the other soldier," the crown prince said after he stood up.
Taehyung stopped on his track when he glanced up to the tent's entrance, surprised face and speechless; he thought he was dreaming.
The crown prince rubbed his eyes, shaking his head but when he looked up once again; Seokjin was there and he really wanted to scream to the omega's face but he was too tired after the last war they lost.
Taehyung let out a loud sigh, ruffling his own sweaty hair and walked to the exit. He stopped before Seokjin, the omega could clearly smell the distress scent from his mate and the anger bubbling inside the younger man.
The alpha eyed him with unreadable face, Seokjin didn't expect Taehyung to be this calm when he saw him standing inside the tent. He shuddered when the alpha suddenly nosed his neck, inhaling softly and then let out a shaky breath.
Taehyung grabbed his wrist and dragged him out, leaving the tent with think scent of blood and something rotten. The crown prince took him to his private tent, a lot better than the previous tent but smaller.
The alpha didn't speak, he let go the omega's hand after they arrived. Seokjin stood on the corner of the tent while Taehyung took off his armours, throwing his swords with dried blood recklessly to the ground and gave a loud clank sound when it hit the dirty ground.
Seokjin watched the alpha washed his face with the water in the small bowl near the bed, he looked down to his feet, afraid and guilty.
The omega flinched when Taehyung threw the bowl full of water to the ground, the other things on the small table fell together as the alpha shoved the table down with his hands. Seokjin tried to hold back his whimper and the urge to kneel; to be submissive to his alpha.
Taehyung sighed, covering his eyes with his hand and stood there. The silence engulfed them, Seokjin bit his lips and keep looking down to his combat boots. He heard another growl from the alpha, the omega inside him shivered in fear.
The alpha let his own hands fell to the side of his body, Taehyung approached him slowly. Seokjin wanted to run, afraid with the state of his own alpha but he felt his feet rooted to the ground and it wasn't like he would run from his mate.
Taehyung stopped before him, tilting his chin up with his fingers. Seokjin glanced up, looking to his mate; the prince looked wrecked, like a mess.
Tears on the corner of his eyes and Seokjin realized he was wrong and right at the same time, Taehyung wasn't mad because he came.
"I should come sooner," the omega said, hands slowly went to the alpha's neck and he embraced the alpha tightly, "I'm sorry," Taehyung shook his head.
Taehyung shook his head, pulling Seokjin closer to his chest and buried his face to the crooked of his omega's neck. He shuddered, trembling with anger and frustration, he lost another precious people from his kingdom; he failed to lead them to victory.
Seokjin could feel the tears fell from his eyes, he didn't remember when they slumped down to the ground but now he was on the alpha's lap once again while drawing a circle on the alpha's back.
"I failed I failed I failed," Taehyungc chanted underneath his breath, body trembling and eyes squeezed tightly. He wailed like a little kid, hugging Seokjin like he wanted to crush the older man.
Seokjin pulled back a little, forcing Taehyung to look up to him. The alpha whimpered, eyes puffy and desperate, "look at me," the omega pleaded.
He kissed the poor prince gently, making the alpha cried harder and louder. Taehyung was a sobbing mess and Seokjin was no better, the bond made them felt each other's emotion and this time the alpha's emotion clouded his mind.
The bond just made them felt a quarter of the real pain, Seokjin already felt so out of breath and he couldn't imagine how painful this war was for Taehyung.
"I'm here, I will be beside you," he comforted the prince, Taehyung was always the person who hated to be alone and left behind. Watching the people he loved, his people, and his soldiers hurt the prince so much.
Taehyung nodded, once again hiding his face on Seokjin's broad shoulders and found solace when he inhaled his mate's scent.
They already outnumbered, no weapons and the fact that the enemy could control the wild beast just made the situation worst.
After gaining back his composure, Taehyung forced Seokjin to go back to the kingdom but the said male refused. They didn't fight because they simply didn't have the time to fight.
The omega stayed for like four or five days, helping the soldiers to recover as best as he could while Taehyung and Jungkook discussed their next move with their father. Almost all regions of the West were under the north kingdom's army.
The north kingdom could control the beast, that was their strong points and the fact that they had a really strong army just made everything worst and one-sidedly.
"The north kingdom is here!" one of the soldiers screamed, Taehyung grabbed his sword immediately. When they got out of their burning tent in time, the people were already fighting with the enemy. The enemies used the burning arrow and blocked the entrances.
Seokjin felt déjà vu as he swung his sword to slay the enemy before him, "go to Jungkook and the rest!" Taehyung pushed him to the backside of the camp, the omega wanted to protest but then he saw Jimin suddenly showed up out of nowhere and helped his alpha.
It was similar like when he was a kid; when the bad guys attacked his clan.
Seokjin ran to the direction he believed where Jungkook and the rest were fighting, he assured himself that his mate would go there too.
The way to Jungkook and the other's position wasn't easy, the enemy didn't bring too many people but their people already too weak to fight, and it was a losing war since the beginning.
"Don't kill them!" he heard woman's voice, "kill the soldier if they refuse to surrender but keep the royal family alive!"
He saw a beautiful lady, on a familiar black horse but he couldn't remember where he saw that horse with a unique white stripe on the middle of its chest.
The lady looked elegant, pretty, and ethereal with her wavy hair and looked wrong but so right in the middle of the chaos with her war suit.
Seokjin stood frozen, watching the woman commanded her soldiers to catch his people. It was a moment of silence when she looked to the other side and she saw another omega.
Her expression changed, her stoic face turned shocked; Seokjin could see her lips trembled and her eyes became horrified. As if she was seeing a ghost from her past, the reason behind the blood bath; her lips parted and she raised her hand like she wanted to reach for him.
Then Seokjin heard a scream and when he noticed an arrow pierced through his left shoulder; he realized it was him who screamed.
But it wasn't just him who screamed.
The woman on the horse also screamed the moment he fell to the ground.
"You looked so similar like your father," he blinked several times to adjust with the torch's fire, the first thing he saw was Taehyung's worried face.
The alpha pulled him closer to his chest and growled to the woman before them, Seokjin could feel the cold ground under his body and how Taehyung tensed while embracing him.
He realized they were in the dungeon not so long after that, the same woman on the battlefield stood before them. He eyed the ankle cuff on Taehyung and his feet, connected to the wall behind them.
The woman's face was stoic, different from her face when she first saw Seokjin in the campsite, "you're a coward! Attacking us when we're in our weak state," Taehyung spat.
The woman smiled softly, walking closer to them, "you're so naïve like your father, prince Taehyung," the woman giggled.
Taehyung growled, "Why?" the prince tightened his grip, "You're the king and the queen's best friend!" he shouted and his voiced echoed in the dungeon.
The beautiful woman stopped smiling, Seokjin jerked when the pain on his left shoulder shot through his spine, "your parents used to be my best friend, you're not wrong prince Taehyung," she said coldly. Seokjin wondered where Jungkook and the kings, he wanted to know why his alpha ended up in here too.
Taehyung panicked but he couldn't do anything when Seokjin groaned in pain; the white bandages painted with crimson as he moved, the woman eyed them and for a second both of them caught a moment of sanity inside her eyes.
She recalled the old times; when it was she who embraced the man who looked just like Seokjin. When they fight against the world to establish the messy hierarchy, the sacrifices they did together.
Like pouring fuel to the fire, the memories angered her more than before.
"I remembered they said they killed you," the woman stood before Seokjin, the omega's heart banged inside his chest, what?
The omega tried to sit, leaning back to his alpha while eyeing the woman in front of her with painful eyes, "what do you mean?" he said with ragged breath, he felt odd with the fact that their enemies let Taehyung stayed with him or even treated his wound.
The woman bent down a little, she reached for Seokjin's cheek but Taehyung snarled and slapped her hand away. She chuckled, snapping her fingers and suddenly there were three huge men who ripped Taehyung away from Seokjin.
"Taehyung!" he shouted but the woman grabbed his hair when he tried to get up and pulled him to face her, she examined his face like she wanted to prove a point.
"Hands off bitch!" the omega spat, the woman flinched back as if he burnt her with his words before she smirked, she didn't know saying those words with that face could hurt her that much. Before Seokjin could curse again the woman caressed his cheek gently; confusing the omega.
She leaned down, letting her forehead to touch his forehead, Seokjin could hear Taehyung screaming and trashing from the other side of the dungeon's room, "how can you be a carbon copy of that bastard?" she whispered, tears on the corner of her eyes.
"You look exactly like him, the face; the figure; everything. Your scent is the only different thing from him and you stink," she grabbed Seokjin's wound with the other hand, squeezed and dug her thumb to the re-opened wound, "you smelled almost like her but your mother's scent was sweeter than this."
"The man who dumped me because a certain omega, using you as her main reason to snatch your father from me," the Queen of the north chuckled, her sharp nail dug into Seokjin's scalp, "I cleaned out the entire clan but it seemed you were able to escape the death; Kim Seokjin."
"Let me tell you a story that will disgust you."
"The thing that your mother and your father did, the cause of the downfall of the other kingdom into the North kingdom's feet."
"Everything happened because of your father."
"The one who is responsible for everything that happened now."
Seokjin realized the woman before him, she is an omega too, just like him. Her scent was faint but when she was this close, he could smell it; the smell of his father's favourite flower. The similar black horse she rode before; it looked awfully same like his late father's black horse.
"Your father left me, he betrayed me and our hard-works because of you," she said to Seokjin's ear, her long hair brushed the side of his neck.
She smiled, kissing the young omega's cheek softly, "and being alive is just a wrong decision for you."
"Because in several hours you will see," her scent reminded him of his father a lot. Seokjin always found it odd, when he was a kid. A faint smell that never belonged to his mother that supposed to be his father's mate, the faint smell of water-lily that blended with his father's dominant scent.
How could he remember such memories? Maybe because the owner of that water-lily scent was before him and she wanted to make Seokjin suffers more than this.
"Your beloved alpha," Seokjin stiffened when she mentioned his love, he looked to her eyes; she is insane and she knew it.
"The crown prince of East kingdom."
"Kim Taehyung will be dead."
