⏩Chapter 3⏪

The only thing that changes is the place, because people remain the same.

Yoongi was pedalling like his life depeded on it. Passing in full speed people who were trying to walk on the street. Also earning some 'not that nice words'. It is not everyday you get hit by a blue bike, is it?

You would think he was exaggerating. Heck, he thought that himself. But it felt like all the walls he built around him for years were slowly cracking. It wasn't from this incident. It was from everything else. The constant feeling he got everyday, the voice that was his telling him that he should give up. Simple as that. The boy didn't blame anyone for what was happening with him. Of course, a broken lense was reparable but was a soul reparable? He had to fix himself.

Yoongi was pulled back to reality when he realised his bike wasn't working anymore. He couldn't go further. The asphalt was- sand? Looking around, he saw the beautiful blue surrounding everything. The calm and sad colour, it was the exact opposites at the same time. The salty smell reached his nostrils, making them itch.

The young boy dragged the bike along with his feet leaving trails behind. Waves splashing brought a familiar feeling and filled his ears. With his legs and the camera in his hands, he took deep breaths as he sat on the sand next to the bike.

It hurt the gray haired to look at the broken lense. The glass was reflecting the 'ocean' of sky from above. Sun was visible in it. He turned on his camera, the screen soon displaying the last picture he took. The blue bike... With his tumb, the young one started to look at recent or old pictures. Nature...objects and...no pictures of himself were there. Each one more interesting than other, it could spark curiosity to anyone.

'Picture taken 1 year and 5 months ago', he read on the screen.

He smiled at the memories slowly taking their place in his mind. But is soon faded away as he tryied to take a picture...a unclear, an unfocused image appeared.

It was useless...

All the things he considered beautiful were there, things who may go unnoticed for others and what hurt the most was that he lost the ability to capture those things.

"Hoseok! I swear, I will kill you!"

"It's 'hyung' for you! Catch me if you can, shorty!"

Through the halls, only laughter and feets sliding against the white floor could be heard. They were filling the absolute emptiness of the school. Classes were finally over and everyone went home, except for them.

"C'mon, just give it back! I don't have time for this!"

The boy screamed as he was running behind the orange blob. "I will be late!". Both of them were looking like cars in a race, drifting, taking tight curves and suddenly accelerating.

"Catch meeee!" He looked back to smile at the other, the boy was laughing. As he turned his head, he didn't see the wall in front.

"Hoseok hyung, watch-"

He couldn't finish as the happy blob smashed on it like a mosquito on a car. The backpacks fell along with the body.

"Hyung!" The other approached. There was a moment of heavy silence.

"Hey, are you-". The energetic one bursted in laughter, leaving the other puzzeled. He got in a sitting position rubbing his head with a hand trying to ease the pain. With the other he was holding his stomach wich was starting to hurt from the excessive laughing.

"Never do that again!", 'Shorty' said as he smacked his friend in the head.

"Ow! Don't hit your hyung!"

"I'm hitting my hyung for being irrational". He said as he crouched to get his backpack. He felt relived having it back. With that, he turned on his heels and slowly walked away.

"Hey! Don't leave me here". He pretended to fall on his back dramatically, putting a hand over his face. "To be or not to-"

"Oh my god, just get up and let's go already, we're late".

"Ugh, okay". The orange blob got up sighing, catching the other from behind. His hyung was annoying today. 'You are very no fun, Jiminie' . He smiled as they got out from the school, leaving it in complete silence.

(A/N imagine them acting like that in this fanfiction XD)

"It's getting worse"

"You have to apologise to him, Namjoonie".

"You know that I didn't mean it..I acted reckless. I'm sorry". The male said without turning, looking into nothing. His mind was somewhere else.

"You have to tell that to him, not to me and next time, don't you ever dare to get in the kitchen again". The brown haired stopped his laughter by showing his head into the others bony shoulder.

"I need your car", Jin wishpered in his ear. "I know where he went".

"He always goes there, doesn't he?"

"Mhm", the older had his head burried in the back of the older and soon his arms wrapped around his waist, back hugging Namjoon. "I'm worried...".

"You know that...it's not your fault".

"I know...". He tightened his grip. "It's just...I feel that we are failing with him..That I am failing"

Namjoon turned around and took Jin's chin with his hand. He got absorbed in other's eyes.

"You are doing an amazing job and...". The purple haired looked down before continuing. "And I am proud of you".

Jin lifted his gaze, a mix of happiness and slight confusion was covering his face like a mask. His heart was warm.

"Now bring him back".

"Jiminie~ don't be sad". His voice was scratching the other inside his head like claws. They were currently walking along the beachside. None of them wanted to go home.

"It's your fault! If you weren't messing around like that, we would've done it in time!".

"I'm sure you can get another job anytime".

"Are you?" The other asked sarcastically in a mocking tone.

"Oh, woah, what happened to 'smol' and 'cute' Jiminie?". He asked accentuating those words. "Rude, aren't we?"

"You know that it was important...I need money Hoseok...hyung"

"We all do."

Jimin sighed soundly. Emptying his lungs like a bag full of clothes.

"Hey, relax. You can give the interview tomorrow too! Maybe nobody got the job today! Hmm...Or they need more people. You know, where's two, the power grows. There's still hope!". The boy was already gesticulating a lot, trying to make his 'speech' more interesting.

"It's not about me, it's about both of us...". He said looking at the ground while slightly pushing away Hoseok wich was blocking his way smiling like the sun itself. "You know what I mean-"

"I know." He said stern, his mood changing completely. "I told you, we will go tomorrow. I-I'm sorry, Jiminie".

"It's okay. I know you always have your reasons, Hoseokie". Jimin smirked devilishly.

"Yah! Don't call me like that!". The brown haired laughed even harder.

"Hey, what about we stay here more, I don't want to go home just yet. And I don't think you have something else to do. Also, you owe me for wasting my time today.

"What happened to 'study hard untill my eyes fall out and my brain desintegrates' ?"

"Not going to happen". He dragged Hoseok as they walked to the sea to sit on the sand.

Indeed it was cold outside and Jimin's blue and oversized sweater wasn't helping too much. Hoseok, on the other hand, seemed comfortable in a red hoodie. They were so concentrated in walking in the sand and didn't even notice the sun that was already starting to go down. The sky was a omogenic mixture of pure yellow and bright blue. Orange was clothing the big sfere of light wich was starting to disappear under the line of the sea.

Like it was drowning.

The boys reached the end of the beach, water was crawling and devouring sand withe flux and reflux. They sat their backpacks down and enjoyied the view. The only sounds were the crashing small waves and the occasionally screams of the birds cutting the sky. Not many people were there.

"Do you think that sun feels lonely sometimes? ". Jimin asked in a small voice as he was holding his knees to his chest, probably trying to keep the warm inside.

"What kind of question is that?". Hoseok puffed feeling kind of amused, but he knew what Jimin meant. "Sun isn't feeling anything. Don't talk like a five year old". He made a pause. "Even if you look like one". He smiled warmly.

"Hey-"

A scream engulfed everything suddenly.

Both of them turned their heads to the source. There was a tall boy standing in front of another wich was sitting on the cold sand.

"Do you seriously plan to stay here untill you freeze to death?!". They heard a strong voice with a scolding tone.

"Get up, let's go, you can't stay here!". The tall boy made a move to lift the other but he pushed him getting on his feet.

"Don't touch me!". Just then, Jimin observed the boys appearance. The said boy had.. grey hair? And a beannie over his head. A dark green and long jacket was on him, going pretty well with the black jeans he was wearing. Jimin couldn't make the boy's facial features. It was getting dark and he had bad eyesight due to not wearing his prescribed glasses. The other grabbed the smaller boy tight by his arm.

"I'm done with your nonsense! Get your ass back in the car. You can't stay here watching endlessly how water moves". He grippened his hold. "SNAP OUT OF IT! Please...I'm begging you, Yoongi".

Jimin and Hoseok sensed the despair in the tall boy's features as he brought the gray haired closer to his face. Now they were staring at each other straight in the eyes. The next words the tall one said, could not be heard by Jimin and Hoseok. But soon he was dragging the small one. A camera was hanging loosely from his neck. In that spot remained a pastel blue bike.

Jimin followed them untill they got in a car. It accelerated forcefully, disappearing in the traffic.

"Wonder what that was about", Hoseok said sighing after a moment of silence between them.

"They seemed mad", the brown haired responded, eyes still wondering over the street. 'I wonder what made him leave', Jimin thought.

"People have problems, what can you do...Let's go home, I can't feel my legs", his lips quivered a little.

"But hey- look", Jimin pointed to his right. Hoseok followed his finger. "They forgot their bike".

The orange haired got up reaching it. "Do you think we should take it?", he scremed across, making Jimins ears red from embarrassment. He quickly ran to his friend brushing down the glued sand and while whisper-screaming:

"Don't be this obvious, people will think we are stealing it!".

Hoseok smiled wide and patted him on the shoulder. "Don't worry, they seen everything. What the obvious thing is that he forgot it and we are the ones who will give it back ", he lifted it from the sand. At the first look it semed to be a old one. The dark colour of rust was covering the baby blue in some places.

"And how are you supposed to give it back to them, hm? Call them", Jimin said sarcastically.

"Magic", the older answered trying to copy the same tone his friend has used to answer previously.

The younger rolled his eys. "We can give it to the police or something"

"Do you actually think that police gives a damn about a bike?". Hoseok answered as he was leaving slowly.

"Wait-"

"We will give it back tomorrow, maybe they will be here searching for it". He said over his shoulder. "Don't stress too much, Jiminie, it's just a bike".

"Fine, fine". He was happy, it was freezing. 'It's not just a bike, you are hurting it', Jimin thought.

But for some, things mean more than they do for others.

The sky was darkening, the beautiful yellow melting completely and being replaced by what you see when you close yours eyes. Shy dots of white were covering it. Stars...

As the boys were leaving to their homes, in a car, far from them, the young ones who made a scene in front of everbody on the beach were staying in silence. The roar of the engine and the forced break were the only thing heard and felt...apart from their breaths, filling the car.

"Please, don't worry me like this, Yoongi...", the tall brown haired said in a small voice. His hands were holding the steering wheel a little too tight.

The other did not respond.

"You have to understand...staying there won't bring them back".

This time he got a smal flinch, followed by a turn of head. Yoongi was now facing the window, his gaze avoiding the other.

"I don't miss them, Seokjin", the grey haired said hissing still looking outside and earning a heavy sigh. His bony fingers held the camera in a protective way.

"I know it's hard, you can't deal with everything alone". The older patted him on the shoulder, squeezing it in a motherly manner. "But you have to know that I am here for you, Jonnie is too."

"Nice reply, you took that from your boyfriend?"

The older pushed the brake making Yoongi jolt from his seat, hitting his arm into the chair.

"Awww, next time smash this car into another with us in it". After a moment, he continued while rubbing his elbow to ease the pain wich felt like needles, "Hyung" . Jin swore he could hear pure hate in that.

"What will you do if me and Namjoon will dissappear too?"

"I will live, as I do right now"

"I don't think so"

'Do you...? '. Yoongi answered without giving life to his thoughts and clenched his teeth.

The rest of the ride was silent and both of them thought they went deaf.

"You forgot my bike", he said from nowhere.

And Jin just wanted to slap himself.
