A few months later, I came home from work early in the morning. The sun was barely breaking the sky. I rubbed Bepo's head as he raised it to give me a sleepy look as I entered.

"Go back to sleep." I said softly to him. He dropped his head back in to his bed and immediately went back to sleep, soft snores escaping the dog. I set my bag on the table and pulled my shoes off. I climbed the stairs to mine and Aka's bedroom and peered in. Aka was lying on her side, one hand lying on my pillow, the other on her stomach. Guessing by the bags under her eyes and the way her eyebrows furrowed, the baby had been kicking all night again.

I pulled off my shirt and changed in to my sleepwear, then silently crawled in to bed next to my wife. Her fingers twitched as her body registered my weight being added to the bed. I carefully took her hand and lead it to my hair, knowing that was what her hand had sought out during the night. A soft sigh escaped her sleeping form as her face relaxed a little bit.

I looked down the her bulging tummy and watched the little bump that was my baby move. I smirked as Aka grunted at the baby's sudden kick. I sighed softly to my self.

"Seven months. Just two more and I'm gonna be a father." I thought to myself. I reached out and gently laid my hand against the stretched skin of Aka's tummy. The baby stopped moving for a second, then kicked my hand. I chucked and pulled my self up to my knees and bent over my wife's stomach.

"Now, now. I know you're mad at Daddy-ya for working all night, but you need to settle down and let Mommy-ya sleep." I said softly to the bump. The baby kicked my hand again. I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to where the baby's head was.

"Be a good little one and let Mommy-ya sleep. Your gonna be my sweet little one, aren't you? Yeah." I cooed to the growing child. I felt a soft movement under my hand. The baby was settling down now. I placed feather light kisses across Aka's tummy.

"Who are you gonna be? Huh? Are you gonna be my sweet little princess or are you gonna be my brave little warrior? Either way, I love you so much." I whispered and kissed the baby bump again. I heard a soft giggle, then realized that there was a hand playing with my hair. I looked up and saw Aka's sleepy eyes open.

"Don't let me stop you." She said softly. I chuckled and readjusted so I could lie beside her and still keep my hand on her stomach.

"You should be sleeping." She said.

"So should you. It's only six." I said. She shrugged.

"I'm gonna be dealing with morning sickness here in about an hour anyways." She said. I leaned in and kissed her softly.

"You are amazing in every way, my angel." I said. She smiled at me and kissed my chin.

"So, what are we going to name our little bean? Or do you still think we should wait?" She giggled at me. I smiled at her and gently rubbed her belly where our baby was finally starting to calm down.

"I actually have been thinking about names." I said. She smiled.

"So? Tell me your ideas." She said. I kissed her cheek.

"Ladies first." I said. She giggled.

"Well, I thought, maybe for a girl, Tenshi, Kibi or Cassie." Aka said. I smiled at her suggestions. "Tenshi" meant "Angel," "Kibi" meant "Joy" and Cassie was just pleasant to hear.

"For a boy... well, I've kinda had my heart set on one ever since I found out I was pregnant." She said. I hummed and stroked her tummy.

"Rocinante." She said softly. I smiled at her choice.

"Trafalgar D Rocinante-ya. I like the sound of that." I said. She giggled at me.

"Alright, your turn. What were you thinking on names?" She asked.

"Well, you already know my choice for a boy's name." I said. She rolled her eyes at me and I kissed her cheek.

"As for a girl.... Lami." I said softly.

"After your sister." Aka said. I nodded, lovingly gazing down at her tummy where my hand rested.

"Hmm... Trafalgar D Lynn Lami. I like that." She said. I smiled. I knew that Lynn was a family name from Aka's grandmother, Lynn D Aka, who had died before Rosa had finished medical school. Rosa and her mother had been very close, so she named Aka for her.

"Such a beautiful name." I said. She smiled up at me.

"Alright, so it's decided. Trafalgar D Rocinante for a boy, Trafalgar D Lynn Lami for a girl." She said. I nodded.

"Perfect." I said. She kissed my cheek.

"Now go to sleep!" She giggled and pushed me on to my back. I chuckled.

"Only if you come cuddle up to me again when you're done with morning sickness." I said. She giggled at me.

"And maybe breakfast." She said.

"I love you, Aka-ya." I said.

"I love you, too, Law." She said. I smiled and closed my eyes. At the next ultrasound, we'd know the baby's gender. I couldn't wait to find out.

I slept for a few hours before Aka woke me up for the ultrasound appointment that day. I quickly showered and dressed myself, then drove Aka to the hospital for the ultrasound.

The doctor helping us was Dr. Alastor D Lilith, a long time friend of mine. I knew her in college.

"Alright, here we go, moment of truth!" She said. Aka held my hand. I kissed her knuckles softly.

"And we've got a little girl!" She said happily. I smiled brightly and looked down at Aka. She was smiling just as brightly at me.

"Lami."
