"Let go" I shouted at Jake as I watched Alice speed off

He let go and I stormed off into the house but he followed me.

"Eve he didn't mean it and you know that" Jake said causing me to scoff

"You don't get it do you, how could you he literally ripped my heart out that's how it feels and I'm fading away by the second because I fell so deeply in love with him and he broke me I'm fucking broken hearted and after all I've been through" I snapped

"He doesn't understand he wanted to protect you" Jake said

"From what the vampires, I could care less about Victoria now let her kill me let her rip me apart like Edward did James anything to get rid of the pain he caused me" I snapped

"You don't mean that" he said

"God you don't get it do you" I snapped

"Help me understand then" he said

"Back in Arizona I was raped by four men all because I trusted one of them I befriended him and his twisted friends I fell into the trap that his bitch left from me the girl I thought was my friend best friend even but no she wasn't, she caused pain and then so did he I felt like I was ripped apart at fourteen, then I nearly died because of fucking vampires and now this is the worst of all Paul left me and I loved him, he was the worst of it all and god only knows why I feel like he ripped my heart out of my damn chest and what's worse is I feel as though I'm gone again and if I were to be found by Victoria I'd beg her to take the pain away forever and that's sad isn't it" I snapped

"Eve I didn't we didn't know" Jake said

I whipped the tears away harshly and walked up the stairs without another word. I ignored his calls as I shut and locked my door.

Time skip

Bella came back and so did the Cullens so that's where I was. I was curled up on their couch drowning out the conversation in the background. I'm too much pain not even jaspers gift could help me now. I felt like I was dying inside and I didn't even know why.

"Hello" I said softly

"He's gone Eve he's dead" it was Leah crying

"Who who's dead?" I panicked

"Dad he's....he had a heart attack" she said

"I'm heading over now stay where you are Lee I'll be there I promise" I said
