Ava's P.O.V

I sit up and rub my eyes. Ugh, I must have a fever. This headache is killing me. Ugh. I wonder if Mom made chicken soup I open my eyes and look around. A grey room with a equally grey door. My memories flood back into me. Ah Fuck. I shiver and bring my knees up to my chest and hug my legs. Where am I? I start to cry. 

THEY CALLED ME SUMMER!

Yes, your in hydra.

And your not, leave me alone anxiety.

I hear arguing out side. And laughing. At me. I hope they'll leave me alone now. The door opens and shuffling feat walk in. Smooth hands lift me up. I look up, my tears streaking my face. He glares at me and pulls me out. We walk with a bunch of guards into a small room. An entire wall is glass. James is on the other side of the glass wall. The guards leave the room and I slowly go up to the wall. James looks up and see's me. He runs to the wall and puts his hand on the glass. I copy his movements. I put my hand down and look at him quetionly.

"Where are we?" I mouth.

"Hydra." He replies

"Ugh" I say aloud "Can't those fuckers leave us alone?"

"Pft, doubt it." He smiles. Suddenly his face drops and I my hair is yanked back. I'm dragged (Still by the hair) to the wall, were chains are attached to my hand, feet and wings. I start to hyperventilate. Why my wings?

"Freak" He growls and kicks me in my ribs. Unlike the characters in Maximum Ride, I don't heal fast, so as I hear a snap, I start to freak out. He punches my face, fast and in the same place. I cry out in pain.

"Why aren't you fighting back, you coward?!" He yells and kicks me in the gut. I cry out.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" James screams. I see a knife being pulled out from the mans pocket. He drives it into my arm and twists it, but leaves it in. I focus on that bit of hope.

"Monster." He spits. I flinch at the ugly words and he smirks. He grabs my hair and pushes my head into the wall. I scream and pass out

A/NI didn't like writing this chapter, but bad guys happen, and someone need to graphically write about what they do.
