PREFACE
She watched in anguish as it burned. Her old life gone, not that it had been a life, diminishing by the second. She fought against the barrier keeping her away but it was no use. If she tried hard enough she could get away but what then? Something told her that it was the end of her beginning. "Let me go!" She cried as her tears plunged to the ground.
"Sophie! Look at me!" They exclaimed. She refused, her whole world was falling apart piece by piece she didn't have it in her to even breathe again. She just wished she could forget it all. The looks in their faces would haunt her to the end of time. "SOPHIE!"
She turned to face her friend. "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!" She shouted. "THEY'RE ALL I HA-" Choking back her tears and hoarse voice, arms pulled her in tight and a cool breeze washed over her whole body. She tried to fight it but knew she couldn't.
The grip on her was loosened and she was pushed gently further from her cask, it held her together when she couldn't. "Promise me you won't go in there and I'll let you go." The voice said. "I know you're strong enough. Sophie you're the strongest person I know. You can survive this."

"Sophie just liste- With the flick of her hand his body was flung to the side making way for her. She ran towards the burning building, the heat getting warmer and warmer. It wasn't just any type of fire. This was no accident. Stopping midway to the house figuring out what she was running to.
"SOPHIE GET BACK IT'S EVERBLAZE!" Yelled the voice. Only milliseconds too late. The sound of 10,000 guns erupted and the blast flew her back a few feet. She had many brinks with death but this time was different. Memories of her life flashed before her before the utterly dark curtains closed for good.
