Chapter 49

Take a deep breath.

This chapter holds little bits of Alpha's past. Somethings would be clear and new questions will arise.

Enjoy the ride💜

.

Jungkook's head was lying closer to the Alpha's left chest, the subtle rising and falling of heartbeats under his ears was making him more comfortable around his anxious body. Their legs weren't touching each other, and had a respectful distance between them as they lay on the same bed. No blanket was around but half of Luna's body was getting warmth from snuggling against his Alpha.

Taehyung knew the Empress wasn't sleeping, the hold over his sleeveless black button-up was proof enough. Luna was closing and enclosing the material of his shirt in between his fingers on his chest.

The sun wasn't up yet, it was still dark outside but a sense of relief and comfort could be felt around the whole troop.

The Alpha knew that if he was thinking of talking to the Empress then the time should be the night time. Because in the daytime neither he would get time to say something nor the Empress would have enough time to comprehend.

But where should he start?

It's not like he needs to explain the tragedy that happened to him back in time but he can't ignore the demand for the truth coming from the Empress. However the Empress wasn't demanding the whole past, he wanted an explanation of his habits and patterns of his nature.

But the Alpha knew that it would need him to travel down the memory lane of his past and force out the anxiety that was building in between their bond.

The question isn't about accepting or rejecting the bond this time. Because the bond is already there and it has affected the Alpha two times already.

The Royal Alpha's one hand was placed on Jungkook's shoulder, the hand wasn't moving but it was providing Jungkook with a warmth that he was deprived of for a long time. His other hand was pitched behind his head, supporting his neck as a pillow.

Taehyung knew that he should speak something soon or once this night passes, his mind will start finding ideas to ignore the subject altogether and even distract the Empress enough that at one point he will forget that he had asked something or threatened the Royal Alpha for something.

Similarly as the topic of his healed ring finger. Due to the busy days in the fields, the Alpha had gotten enough time to distract the omega and create similar cuts and slashes around his ring finger again and again.

The Alpha had done it so many times even if he was assured that the omega was too emerged in work to notice but Taehyung didn't know why he wanted to hide this information from the omega.

It felt personal.

So personal that he didn't want to let the omega know that his saliva indeed worked on his injuries. That the omega holds similar power of healing towards him as he holds towards the omega. That the omega had left behind a tremendous amount of old healers and superiors who had claimed to heal him in the past but failed miserably. All of them. Failed.

But the explanations that the omega had demanded an hour ago were only fair and recommendable in this situation.

Taehyung closed his eyes and puffed out some inaudible breaths, several thoughts were swirling in his mind, wanting to come out from his mouth altogether but the Alpha still had some amount of restraint left in his soul.

"My habits…"

The Alpha started and felt Jungkook flinch in his hold. The omega looked up at him, his chin resting upon Alpha's chest, wide eyes broadening too much in concentration. The rich voice never fails to surprise him, no matter how many days or nights he hears his Alpha's voice, the effect is still the same. When their eyes matched, Jungkook understood that his Alpha wants to talk.

He pulled away from their lying position, folding his knees in one direction elegantly before sitting a little away from the Alpha. He wanted to give some space to the Royal Alpha, knowing very well that it's not something ordinary that his Alpha wanted to share.

If he wants to share.

Taehyung dragged his body into a seated position as well and leaned against the headboard of their bed. Jungkook looked at his Alpha but frowned when he found that his Alpha was glancing everywhere except toward him.

Jungkook looked down in wait, his hands starting to twist the white pearls of his norigae that must have been plucked out when he plunged himself over the Alpha to hug him.

But Jungkook doesn't regret it.

Luna looked up when the Alpha started talking again, this time holding the gaze of the omega," My body habits.. I gained them with time. From Seventeen centuries.. The arrival of new generations, the diminishing of old ones, I have witnessed all of it. Because of my survival instincts, I made some amends with my wolf."

The omega tilted his head a little and the Alpha realised he hadn't introduced his wolf to the Empress yet,  "My wolf, his name is Van. Kim Van. But among Eclipsers, his identity is famous as only the first letter of his name, V."

Jungkook nodded his head with a small smile as if the omega was encouraging the communication between them.

"The amends will seem a little bizarre but it is our ( Here Alpha indicated himself and his wolf as "our") reality. The amends where my wolf sleeps half of the centuries and works another half. I have trained him into hibernation. This was the only survival instinct we could have lived upon after…. our rejection."

Jungkook's lips parted in disbelief, eyes blown away as if someone had spurted out a ton of ignobility in front of him. He didn't know how but his hand was covering his lips in shock.

Rejection?

Rejecting his Alpha.

What kind of gibberish it is!!!

Jungkook doesn't know how he should feel right now. Should he feel hurt? Anger? Or disbelief? Because in no way in their sane mind, one can ever… Ever… thought to reject his perfect mate.

"I don't believe this," Jungkook whispered when his hand slipped off his lips. It wasn't his fault, the truth was beyond his imagination. In his vast mature vision, he had never thought of this reason at all.

How can someone reject such an Alpha who is as divine as a lord and as powerful as Sun and as calm as Moon? Finding him as their mate is much more than a boon from the Creator and a blessing from all the pure souls.

Still.

Still, a person rejected such a soul.

Jungkook doesn't want to visualise the pain, the pain of rejection among werewolves is fundamental brutality. Because if he had read his mythological books correctly, it's like the murder of a soul which is connected to you for ages.

He has experienced the fear of rejection once and it was the most devastating night of his life. It was just a fear, he can't imagine the consequences if a wolf got rejected in real life.

"I hadn't either." The Alpha replied and looked away from the omega. He gulped down the bubbling urge to kill something and blinked his eyes twice before continuing.

"I am a vessel right now… A vessel which is used enough that it has taken shapes of all kinds of objects, A vessel which has survived many beatings of passing seasons, full of rust."

The words pained Jungkook deeply as his eyes felt a sting, with tears arising eyes he didn't know when his hand found a home over the Royal Alpha's knee, trying to provide warmth from above the clothed legs.

Taehyung felt the touch and looked at the omega. There wasn't pity that he caught sight of, there was an immense hurt as if

the omega was feeling what he had just told.

The Alpha's eyes fell on the omega's hand on his knee but Jungkook didn't take it back, keeping his touch. He wasn't afraid, he would accept it with dignity if his Alpha removed his hand but he won't do it on his own.

But Taehyung didn't.

"I lived for the sole purpose of my people, my responsibility… my Eclipsers. These are the only things that I am answerable for." The Alpha said, his eyes still staring at Luna's hand.

Jungkook doesn't need to imagine that, he was seeing this from the very first day, how the Alpha only speaks when needed for people's welfare, eats when had to satisfy his people's worry and attain the responsibilities of people as his first priority. What he needed to imagine was a person who at one time must have led a happier life. What hurt the most was that… what he can't imagine was the happiness of his Alpha because he never saw it.

"But you too.. must have had a past where you lived like a normal Prince without responsibilities and obligations around you." Jungkook tries, tries hard to imagine an Alpha Prince who laughs while riding a horse among their friends before winning the race with a proud grin.

But he couldn't. Couldn't imagine. He wanted to badly but his mind rejects the image as a hallucination even before the picture forms.

Taehyung looked at him again," I had. I had lived like that but then…"

"You found your first mate?" Jungkook completed the half sentence when Alpha couldn't finish it.

The Alpha's gaze shifted from Jungkook to something over the omega's shoulder behind him. It wasn't some specific thing, Taehyung was looking into thin air as if he was recalling something uproarious because in the next moment, his blank eyes filled with anger.

"Yeah. He came into my life and I got rejected in the worst way possible."

The first tear fell from Jungkook's eyes and he tried to blink them back, enough just so he could see his Alpha properly.

"At the first meeting?" The omega asked and Taehyung flinched before his focus returned to the Empress again. The Alpha was thankful for the omega's intrusion because his mind was already on the memory lane to recognise that person again.

He doesn't want that.

"No. Not at first…. Way later. After seven months, suddenly he realised that he has someone better than me back in his……..um.. kingdom." The Alpha stared right into the omega and Jungkook wanted to hug his mate again, wanted to take him in his arms when he saw the lost look in the Alpha's eyes.

Jungkook didn't think if it was right or not but his body moved even before he could control his limbs. He took small steps on his knees and stopped a few inches away from the Alpha, there was still some distance present between their bodies but it was enough for now.

The hand that he placed on the King's left knee was now reaching upto the thigh.

Jungkook nodded his head, conveying that he could listen further. The Royal Alpha was watching the omega closely, eyes moving to capture a moment of ominous intentions but he found none. The omega looked as wrecked as he once was.

He starts talking again," I didn't believe him at first. He was too naive to think of something so detrimental. I followed him till the end of this world. And there… He rewarded me with a gift."

Jungkook's heart clenched in between his lungs when he saw the glistening behind those grey eyes. He stilled in his sitting position and then his own eyes reflected the same emotion.

A mate always resides within you. The sentence was echoing in Jungkook's brain again and again like some flowing wind. The sentence he once read in his favourite book. He blinked his eyes when he saw the Alpha's hands reaching towards the first button of his shirt.

A frown appeared on his face and then his eyes moved from the second button of the shirt which the Alpha continued to open and looked up to the king.

Taehyung was looking at him, his gaze unwavering as he continued to open the buttons till the end and let the split shirt fall around his waist and hips into two.

Jungkook looked at bare torso and his face twitched in concentration when a finger traced a thread like scar that was engraved straight where the heart aligns.

The scar was utterly thin… thinner than a line of thread. But it's persistent existence after so many years… delivers a deeper reason of his composition.

The scar was bigger than a knife but shorter than a sword, the finger was still moving over it but the craziness of the situation was… the Alpha was caressing it without even looking at it as if he had done it so many times that even his fingers knows from where the scar starts and where it ends.

"Why is it still there?" Jungkook asked and that's when he realised he was hiccuping on his breath, was he crying too loudly?

Is it why the Royal Alpha was staring at him like that?

No…

He was looking at him from the beginning.

Jungkook reached out and stopped the moving finger and pulled the Alpha's hand back from his chest. His fingers curled around Alpha's wrist before losing the hold slowly.

He sniffled before wiping his chin, Jungkook looked at the King with uneasiness in his eyes as if saying he didn't like the continued caressing over the scar.

Taehyung looked down and buttoned up his shirt, his fingers moving slowly," Many things changed after that. I heard many excuses then, found many loopholes, found his lies and finally….felt his betrayal. I made many decisions that weren't in my people's favour but mine only yet I still don't regret them."

The Alpha left the first two buttons loose, his arms flexed around his torso as he crossed his arms over his waist as if hugging himself closely.

And glanced at the omega again," My wolf suffered the most in this. He wanted peace, an escape from the pain. Being a Royal… I know I will not die but the pain will exist with me throughout. So I decided to surrender myself to my wolf completely, let him take us out of our misery."

Jungkook knows what that means. It refers to the unconscious state of mind where only your half part breathes into you and you lose yourself into the blank universe. But it takes a lot of power for someone to reach that state. Questions after question were stirring inside his mind but not once he tried to intervene the Alpha.

"But the people of Eclipse pulled me back from that blank space. I knew I had to live but by then many disastrous things had already taken place, I found my great grandfather had cursed Jimin for his disloyalty. A disloyalty he executed for the safety of our people only. It was an unfair decision and I felt the anger to my bones."

Jungkook's cheeks were clean from tears now, a little redness around his eyes was still present. He was listening to everything closely, maybe etching it onto his soul. He knows a little about this story. The Royal omega had once told him about his great-grandfather.

"I refused to be a puppet of fate that day. I wrote my own after killing my great grandfather, a maniac who thinks omegas are too incompetent to hold the safety of the Empire."

It was hard for Jungkook to imagine a leader like that in Eclipse. A holy place like Eclipse enduring a leader like the great grandfather of Royals wasn't believable. But Maybe he was not the only one, maybe it was the changing time that changed the mindset of upcoming generations, maybe everything needs to pass the path of hell before reaching the door of peace.

Or Maybe In the past, things weren't this manageable to begin with. Jungkook can only think about the possibilities of a less happier version of Eclipse. But one question was still roaming inside his mind for months now.

"But Aren't all Royals blessed with immortality?" He decided to ask.

The Royal Alpha nods slowly and straightens his body a little against the headboard, his hands calmly tucked over his lap.

"You must have known this from Jimin now that Royals can't be killed easily. But there is still a way to diminish that endless ignition inside their bodies. One has to sacrifice one of our sacred powers to take Royal's life. And this makes it almost impossible because most of the Royals endowed only one power from birth."

The bewilderment was visible in Jungkook's eyes, his thoughts reaching the height where he forgets to nod his head and blink.

"I sacrificed my power of healing.. that day. I hated that power the most, it was a pretentious power that heals you for decor but never peaks inside. I sacrifice that and hence the scar is still present. I heal slower than any other Alpha but it never concerned me enough to retaliate."

Jungkook's were connecting thoughts after thoughts, now he understands why the Royal omega had said that nothing affects the Royal Alpha in terms of healing. He understood why his Alpha had said that his saliva would not work on his cuts.

A sigh left his lips as his eyes fell on Alpha's lap, mind drowned far away in thoughts. He got to know the primal reason of his Alpha's hurt, a hurt on which their entire relationship reflects. And Jungkook understood, he didn't know that he was nodding his head alongside his thoughts and the Alpha was still watching him, and the hand over his thigh wasn't helping Taehyung the urge to read the omega's running thoughts.

But the Royal Alpha constraint himself.

"It's still not the whole truth of the past, right?" Jungkook looked up, his doe eyes big in concern as watched the Alpha shaking his head.

"No, it's not."

Jungkook breathed out slowly and moved closer to the Alpha, the movement brought both of their faces closer than before, their eyes staring into each other as if trying to read the unspoken words between them.

The Empress knows he can't ask everything in one day, he was already grateful that his Alpha opened his heart-wrenching hurt in front of him, and tries to explain the moments of past that no one would want to recall. But curiosity is an embryo that only knows how to grow.

"When will I get to know the whole truth?" Jungkook asked slowly and watched how his head pulled away at that. Once their staring broke off, Jungkook let his eyes fall upon the full lips of the Alpha. He gulped something back in his throat seeing the plush muscles rubbed over each other before the Alpha speaks.

"Pray that… that day won't come at all." He heard and matched his Alpha's eyes again. There was a concern, a fear in those grey eyes. Fear of what? Jungkook wanted to ask.

"Does that mean you don't want to recall your past or you don't want to tell me by yourself?" Jungkook asked instead and when his Alpha inhaled a good amount of air around him, Jungkook felt his lungs contract to find the same disappeared air to breathe.

"Both," The Alpha exhaled.

And Jungkook's eyes fell momentarily closed when the breath draped over his lips. He blinked them open again and looked down to hide the sudden heat of his face. He turned around a little and settled against the headboard beside the Alpha, his body facing his mate as he rested one shoulder against the headboard.

"Is that why you wanted to reject me?" The voice was so low that the Alpha had to tilt his neck towards the omega sitting beside him. The omega was looking down, fingers fidgeting around the corners of the red thread around his wrist.

The omega was referring to the fear he had seen in the Alpha's eyes. Fear of the future repeating his past, the cycle that Taehyung desperately wanted to stop at one point, wanting to breathe somewhere in peace.

But it's not the fear of accepting the bond the fate has bounded them into, but it's the question of its reliability that keeps the Alpha wanting to stay away from it. Completely.

"Hmm, there was one more reason."

"What?"

Jungkook asked immediately, lifting his gaze from his lap and waiting for the reason that was once crucial enough to break their bond.

"It doesn't stand anymore. I have observed you for a long time to see that you are different from…"

him.

However, Taehyung didn't say it out loud, maybe because he hadn't needed to. The omega was looking at him as if he realised that too.

The tremble Jungkook felt inside to his bones, was that happiness or hope? He doesn't know. But he was eager to know something more… Something more important.

"If I ask you once again.. Would you still reject me after knowing me?"

The Royal Alpha looked straight at that, moving his eyes away from the omega's expecting ones. The Empress never talks in riddles, earning one more difference then and there. But what answer was he supposed to say?

"You ask a lot of hypothetical questions." He said, trying to ignore the little twirling of fingers around the left flank of his shirt. The omega was gripping it unknowingly, the nails of his thumb were digging enough to create a new crease into it.

"I ask because my wolf needs assurance from our mate. I need that too." Jungkook said as he still remembers the night of the terrace where he had left his shattered heart, that day Jungkook had realised many things, created many boundaries around his broken heart and most importantly he had constructed the periphery of his emotions around the Alpha.

He was learning to evolve himself according to his mate not for the validity of their bond but for the comfort of his Alpha. He had never enacted unnecessarily in front of anyone to gain their attention but Jungkook knows if an omega wants and takes up on his dignity to win the interest of an Alpha then victory is not far away.

He knows that but it falls down the decrees that Jungkook pursues in his life. In his life, he knows the difference between real emotions and forced ones. And for himself, he will never settle down for the forced ones.

"The answer to your question is a No, if it helps."

The silence that followed after was purer than the deepest water in the sea and more violent than the surface of the sun. It made Jungkook's finger tremble before he grabbed the shirt with a tight fist.

What does that mean? Jungkook asked himself but those staring grey eyes were causing more problems in his palpitating heart. Does that mean he has a chance? Jungkook wonders, does that mean he could live with his mate like other eclipsers do? He would too have what other's consider as a family of their own?

Jungkook dug his face into the Alpha's shoulder, hiding from those fugitive eyes, red tresses covered a small expanse of Taehyung's black shirt, half of his hairs were tucked behind into the royal brooch. The cruelty of Jungkook's world is actually his Alpha's honesty. He is sure… one day the cause of his death will be that too.

The Royal Alpha glanced at the tasselled red hairs around his shoulders, covering the face of the omega completely. Some are even fallen curled in a way that it rummages into omega's neck and supports the skin closely.

Taehyung raised his hand and his two fingers touched Jungkook's forehead right in the middle, the fingers travelled along the porcelain skin of the younger, the red tresses spiralling around the touch before getting tucked behind the red ears of the omega.

Jungkook towed his head more and inhaled sharply when those fingers moved behind his ear in circles, before Jungkook could control… a bunch of his delicate pheromones spread around the pavilion.

The fingers travelled down, moving from behind his ear down to the beginning of his jaw. The fragile touch of those fingers was unbearable, a shaky exhale found a way out of Jungkook's lips when the touch converted into a soft caress.

The touch slipped under his chin and when the fingers dragged his face up, pulling the omega from his hiding spot, Jungkook finally opened his eyes.

Those blue eyes carried the sheer pain of separation, sufferings of loneliness and agonies of Alpha's ignorance. Grey eyes turned into golden as soon as their eyes matched, proving their bond once again.

"But I am not willing to accept it either. This bond… I might need a lot of time to come around. You occurred too far away from my beliefs, I accept that but I am not convinced in this bond with any trust yet."

The Alpha's words didn't make Jungkook budge from his position. He knows his Alpha is trying to save himself from the past and from the future as well. It wasn't any act of cowardice on the king's dignity, it was the bravest beginning from an Alpha who has enough strength to speak of his mind rather than creating misunderstandings after misunderstandings just so one can satisfy their ego of not speaking first.

Maybe Jungkook had saved an entire nation in his past life to get a mate like his Alpha.

The small twinkle in Jungkook's eyes made Taehyung frown, he watched as the omega's hand enclosed his wrist into his hold and pulled his touch away from his chin. Jungkook held the Royal Alpha's hand in a way he wanted to hold from a long time ago, their fingers entwined into one when Taehyung heard," I have never asked for acceptance, Alpha. It was way far for me to imagine a future in my mind when I barely got a glimpse of you."

"All I could ask is… If I am allowed to wait for you? Because I can. I can wait for more than seventeen centuries if in the end, you will hold my hand like this again." Jungkook nodded his head in confirmation," I can."

"But I need your acknowledgement for that, I need you to recognize my efforts. That's all I seek from you. So would you? Would you allow me to wait for you?" Because Jungkook knows, he wouldn't be able to stand the ignorance of his Alpha all over again.

Taehyung was still stuck in those bambi eyes and the words he just heard didn't feel authentic to him. Because a person is here…telling him that he wants to wait for him more than seventeen centuries without any favour in return? He would have laughed at his face if he knew how to do that anymore.

The stirring fear inside the Alpha bloomed more when the small twinkle blossomed in stars in the omega's eyes as soon as he nodded his head.

"If a person wants to pitch himself in the dark willingly, I think I am no one to stop." Taehyung whispered.

Jungkook blinked his eyes rapidly to push away the thriving sensation of hope," This person is your mate. And this mate will either fall in dark with you or we both rise to light together."

The Alpha didn't know what to say at that. He stared at the omega who was looking down at their entwined hands.

Taehyung wanted to ask what the omega wanted in return but it could be considered as a disrespect against the Empress so he proposed willingly," If my life allows me more centuries… You will be the only omega who will have the right to sit on my left thigh."

Jungkook lips parted with a shortening gap, eyes wide with pink dusted cheeks. The Empress had heard about it before, even read in his favourite historical books how the Alphas' have more than one omegas' around them for several purposes. But he hadn't witnessed something like that in Eclipse during his residency.

But promising loyalty for eternity is more than admirable in Jungkook's eyes. A smile spread on his face before the roaming butterflies in his chest broke out in a stifled giggle.

Taehyung pushed his black hair backward and that's when Jungkook noticed his furrowed brows," What is there to giggle about?" he heard the Alpha asking in confusion.

Jungkook covered his mouth in shyness and looked away, he bit his lips and peeked at the Alpha beneath the long lashes," When hyungnim first told me that during the gatherings I need to sit on my Alpha's lap, I thought he was pranking me. I haven't heard about this ritual before coming to Eclipse."

The Alpha pulled his hand away from their entwined hold, combing his hair back as he looked around for a rubber band," Do you find it uncomfortable?"

"No!" The answer was so hurried and loud that the Alpha had to look at him, leaving his search for tie-band in the middle.

"I mean… I have another tie-band." Jungkook didn't even look under the pillow as his hand fished out a black rubber band and showed it to the Alpha," Here."

Taehyung took it and rummaged his dusty lock rearward before tying half of his hair in a pony. Jungkook gawked at those hands, forehead and fingers a little too much. His jaw looked too sharp now, eyes more fierce as the Alpha speaks," What?"

The omega didn't realize that he was looking at the Alpha in a very strange way.

"Is there something on my face?" Taehyung asked as he shifted in his position, now facing the omega, one side shoulder touching the headboard same as Jungkook, legs folded into criss-cross position.

There was.

But if Jungkook says exactly what Jungkook sees then maybe Alpha will ban him from this pavilion. What would he say? That he is looking beautiful?

The Empress blushed as he shook his head," Your hair is a bit disarray, May I do it correctly?"

The Alpha moved his hand over his hair and found some stubborn fringes dangling out of the pony, he pulled out the rubber band with one finger and all of the soft threads fell right across his forehead as if a curtain had fallen over his eyes.

He gave the rubber band to the luna, face still settled into his blank version. Maybe it's the Alpha's ordinary expressions? Jungkook thought as he accepted the band.

He raised himself on his knees and shifted a little closer to the Alpha. His fingers dipped into the black sea of soft hair, a little muddy but yeah extremely soft. Jungkook combed the hairs, encircling his fingers into a fist creating a pony.

Taehyung was looking at the omega looming over his head, his eyes didn't divert when Jungkook sits on his knees and his face came exactly in front of the Alpha.

Jungkook tied the hair with the band but his arms were still outstretched behind the Alpha.

Both of them were lost gazing into each other's eyes. Too much disorientated in thoughts to realise their intimacy. Puffs of small breaths blending over their lips.

Jungkook retreated his hands and cupped Alpha's cheeks in a tender hold, the skin underneath his palm felt warm. It felt almost surreal…

Their noses touched and lips parted in a sigh, eyes speaking so much but no words could be said in this moment. It was a moment created to get secure in their memories, locked away in their cores in between their ragging heartbeats.

Jungkook swallowed thickly, lips squeezing in the process and stopped breathing when the Alpha's gaze shifted from his eyes to his lips.

The lips parted in a soft gasp again to inhale, Jungkook extended his thumb to caress the soft skin of cheekbones, the tender touch made Taehyung's focused eyes a little flattened.

The omega arose from his position, lips moving past his nose bridge before meeting the skin of his forehead.

Jungkook closed his eyes, letting this moment engraved into his soul, lips touching the warm skin in devoted affection.

In the middle of the bed, he was giving a token of love to his Alpha. Maybe it was a dream or his reality, doesn't matter… This moment will forever be cherished by him.

Jungkook opened his eyes and pulled back his lips before sitting back into his position, eyes meeting with Alpha's questioning ones.

"What was that for?"

Jungkook pressed his lips in a little smile when he heard the question because he was already prepared for the answer," I am getting better in Mathematics, Alpha."

He showed two fingers and his lips stretched into a bigger smile," Two more left before the ratio of our tokens of love becomes equal."

Taehyung moved out of the bed while shaking his head.

Wrong.

The Alpha thought but should the Empress know about it?

Absolutely not.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked as he saw the Alpha wearing his shoes and getting fresh clothes from his clothes, might be going to take a dive in the lake.

Taehyung pointed towards the window of the pavilion, Jungkook followed and gasped to see the bright Sun showering the sky with its blinding light.

"It's a day already? When did the sun come out?" He exclaims before standing up and starts making the bed.

It was a new dawn of a fresh day, everyone can see that. But could they see that the darkness of the sky that had once fallen on these two souls has also started rising?

💜💜💜💜💜💜💜.

It was the "after talk" of the Alpha's past. Like what happened when the deed was already done, I hope I was able to portray it finely because there are somethings that will be revealed later.

Pfft. Alpha was trying to creating slashes, cuts on his fingers just to hide the fact that luna's saliva worked on him. What will he do if the luna asks it directly to the alpha?

Lie?😂😂

Good night lovely readers💜
