Jimin walked out of his Pavilion after taking a refreshing bath, the cool breeze of the night passed by near his ear making his body shudder in the position. He saw all the tents were closed off by now, only a few soldiers were standing outside the chambers for their security. He can't blame them, all must be tired by the long journey. 

Jimin followed the scent of his brother and walked toward the lake. The soldiers bowed when the white beauty passed by them.

The lake had a good distance from the tents, Jimin glanced around the clear water and smiled when he saw a silhouette resting on a big rock, right in the middle of the lake.

The Lake contains many small and big rocks, Jimin contemplates in his mind whether he should disturb his brother or not. He squinted his eyes and saw Taehyung was not sleeping; he was staring at the moon.

He sighed and decided to follow his instincts. He clutched his milky white skirt and raised it lightly to jump over from stones to stones carefully until he reached near a big stone that was situated beside his brother.

He sat on it and called for his brother," You should take some rest Taetae." Although Taehyung was laying on that rock, his both hands were behind his head in support but Jimin knew he was not resting at all.

Taehyung blinked his eyes calmly and opened them to blankly stare at the moon again. His grey eyes were always fighting the existence of the moon.

"I wonder when will you stop fighting with the moon," Jimin said again, he knows he should not expect any answers at all as the last talk with his brother was pretty bizarre for him.

He had betrayed his little brother and forced him to court his mate. But it was important for his brother's happy future or so he thought.

After getting ignored so gracefully, Jimin traced his brother's gaze and looked up at the moon, it was still the same, years went by but Jimin never noticed any change in it.

"Not until I kill it and seize its existence." Jimin flinched when he heard his brother's voice. In the chill breeze of the night, that deep voice sent shivers to his spine. 

Jimin gulped nervously, his plump lips pressed in a thin line, eyes holding a sudden fear. Jimin knows this hate… it's not for the moon but for the one who symbolises as a goddess for the werewolves.

"Drop this bitterness please, it's not good for you brother. Look ahead of you, everything is happening for good now." 

Jimin squeezed his lips shut when Taehyung's eyes tilted toward him, eyes asking a question that Jimin knew very well. A question like what nonsense are you sputtering?

"I-it's not nonsense. I saw how you are changing, how you are taking care of your omega even if you don't like him. Yet."

Taehyung sighed very lightly and closed his eyes in pure annoyance. Jimin knew his brother wanted him to go away or just stop talking but Jimin was stubborn.

"I saw the protection circle you created around him, Tae. And it's not bad or anything, it's good to show care about your mate."

"Come out of your imagination, Jimin." Taehyung opened his eyes and stared at his brother blankly.

"Don't make sudden untrue scenarios in your head to give yourself a false satisfaction when the reality is far from it," Taehyung said and avert his eyes toward the sky again.

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows in confusion when he couldn't understand the meaning behind his brother's words. What reality? When he clearly saw that protection circle around Jungkook with his own eyes and no one knew how to spell that cast other than his brother and himself.

"What reality are you talking about, Tae. I have seen that, my eyes can never betray me." Jimin voiced his thoughts.

"My every act has a meaning behind it and that meaning is far from your scenarios. I created that circle to save my time not because I care or any of your nonsense." Taehyung said, his voice was turning dark, his eyes were still positioned in the sky and Jimin knew his brother was serious.

His mouth gaped as he stared at his brother in disbelief, he had thought that everything was turning good around him but maybe he was a fool to think about that too early.

Taehyung sensed the distress of the omega sitting beside him, he turned his eyes to him and spoke," What do you think? I'll come and save him every time he gets in trouble? No, I will not."

"He is not someone I want to waste my time on. He is not that important to me, in fact, he is not important at all." Taehyung finished his words.

The sheer calmness in Taehyung's tone hit Jimin's heart like a rock. He tried to open his mouth but nothing came out.

Maybe he made a wrong decision, maybe he shouldn't have blackmailed his own brother like this but he can't do anything now, it has already happened. 

"Tae, I know I should not have done things the way I did. But he is your mate, you have courted him in front of everyone." Jimin was terrified of the outcome, what if his brother didn't treat Jungkook right just because he forced him. Yes, he knew his brother but the fear is still present.

"Tsk." Taehyung straightened his neck and looked at the moon.

"Kim Taehyung, The Alpha who made a rule to treat wolves equally, will mistreat an omega? Don't disappoint me that much, Jimin." Taehyung said.

Jimin gulped in shame but sighed in relief too. It's not his fault to think like that, his heart was insecure for the innocent omega that must be sleeping in his chamber, unaware of all the predicament. Jimin's mind got a bombardment of thoughts, he started recalling and recalculating everything in his mind. 

Where did he go wrong in his decision, if he thinks rationally his decision is not wrong. His brother needs a companion after living years of loneliness, a companion who he believes will bring his brother back from this blankness. 

"I thought you were in need of your mate, that day you sang the song for him. Those lyrics, I know the meaning of them very well. And now when he showed up in front of you, you-" Jimin squeaked back when his brother's golden eyes fell on him. 

"Don't steep that low, Jimin. Don't use my weak moments to justify your actions. That song meant nothing to me yet I need to remember it." The Royal Alpha warned huskily, Jimin was quick to nod his head. He thanked God that his brother's voice was hushed or the entire forest will be up by now.

"C-calm down, please. I can underst-"

"Oh you don't. You don't understand a single thing Jimin. If you had understood me, if you had known me, you would have never bound me with him." Tears shined in Jimin's eyes but he bit his lips to control himself from crying. His brother was using his Alpha voice again, it doesn't affect him but still, his heart is aching. But taehyung didn't stop there.

He sat on the rock and faced his brother, "You bound me to a soul that I hate to the core. So don't expect anything from me. I completed your wish and now I am free to do anything. I can kill him and bury his body right under the rock you are sitting on." 

Taehyung closed his eyes and controlled his wolf, he opened them when they were back to grey," But I will not do that because I am a King too. He will be my responsibility until he decides to leave. From me, He will receive the respect A Luna should have in a pack. Nothing else." 

Jimin wiped the stray tear that left his right eye and nodded his head in acknowledgement. "But he is innocent, Tae. And he will not leave you, I have seen the dedication in his eyes that he holds for you. If he gets to know this, it will hurt him."

Taehyung laid over the rock and closed his eyes again, "Then keep him away from me. As far as you can. Because unlike you I am not good at lying. The second he will ask me, I will let him taste the truth." 

"Taetae…"  Jimin called but Taehyung didn't react to him. Jimin looked up and prayed to the moon goddess, he begged her to make everything good, happy. He knew what he was asking was a tough wish but he didn't want anything else but justice for these two souls.

And he hoped she would hear his prayers soon.

Jimin consoled his heart, his sad eyes saw his brother laying down lifelessly again. Jungkook will bring you back, Taetae. Only he is capable and I know he will do that. Jimin smiled sadly and raised on his feet.

"Good night, Taetae." He turned back after greeting the Royal Alpha and returned to his pavilion.

Taehyung opened his eyes when he left all alone," The person you are calling Taetae had died long ago, Jimin. There is nothing left to bring back." 

He tilted his head down to look at the left side of his chest," Why are you still beating, aren't you tired of beating continuously for all these years? You should stop beating soon, it would be better before I make you bleed." 

He stretches his hand in the air reaching up to the moon. His eyes turned golden as he grabbed the appearance of the moon in his hand," Wait until I get a hold of you. No one can save you from my hands." He crushed the appearance as he combined his fingers in a fist.

Jungkook was sleeping under the thick blanket because somewhere in the night the weather took a turn and the cold winds made him stretch his limbs to grab his blanket. He was sleeping peacefully with a blanket over his head, only the tips of his red hairs were out in the cold.

The oozing scent from his neck made him squirm in his position. He positioned his nose over his collarbone and scent gland and inhaled again, his wolf let out a whimper when his Alpha's scent filled his nostrils.

Jungkook sprung up on the mattress with wide open eyes, he slid his hanfu over to his shoulder and inhaled again, his eyes becoming hazy as he ran his nose over his shoulder.

Did Alpha mark me yesterday?

He ran to the small mirror that was placed on the opposite side of his chamber. With a racing heart, he took the mirror in his hand and floated it over his neck but a sigh left his mouth when he saw his clear pale neck in the reflection.

Maybe Alpha left his scent on us last night. Alphas tend to get protective when they are out of their territory.

Jungkook heard Kookie said and a blush appeared over his cheeks, he crouches down on his feet and hid his face in his arms. His alpha had scented him. Alpha cares about us, Kookie. 

For the first time, his life matters to someone and that someone is his Alpha.

Jungkook smiled to himself and giggled loudly when his wolf agreed with him. He stands up from his position after nuzzling into that scent again and goes to the stool where the golden dress is placed.

He raised the golden dress in his hands and hugged it tightly. He twirled in circles making his skirt circling over his feet and his hair flair in the air. He felt happy that the man who courted him felt the same about him, he respects him as well as cares about him.

"Let's get ready, Kookie. We are going to meet new people today. I hope they will accept me as others did." Jungkook said excitedly and turned on his toes to walk to the bathhouse.

Jungkook got ready after taking a bath, he heard the rustle bustle of folks outside his chamber who were probably wrapping up the tents. 

He clamped some of his hairs in a half knot and adjusted the norigae over the sash of his belly. 

He sat on his bed and tucked his golden veil securely over his head, the veil matched with his dress perfectly. Jungkook felt giddy when he saw himself in the mirror wrapped in his Alpha's eye colour, his heart felt immense pride and shyness.

He never felt like this before, the feeling of belonging to his Alpha. The sandalwood musky scent is still basking around Jungkook, it is providing an unconditional support that Jungkook craves in his whole life.

He was adjusting the crown on his head when he heard one of the soldiers from outside of his chamber," The Royal Prince is seeking your permission to enter inside the chamber, Your Empress." 

"Please let hyungnim in." Jungkook thanked Jimin internally who taught him some basic abbreviations of Royals.

Jimin entered inside the chamber with a smile on his face but Jungkook was quick to notice it was not genuine at all. 

Does something happen? Jungkook was about to ask Jimin but his words died down in his mouth when he saw Jimin stumbled back on the floor.

"Hyung!" Jungkook took big steps toward the older but Jimin raised his hand and Jungkook stopped in his steps.

The Royal omega rubbed the corner of his head slightly and looked up, there is no wall here so why would I feel that force and stumbled back?

Jungkook was confused about why the Royal omega was standing at the entrance of his chamber and not coming inside?

Jimin let his wolf take over and his eyes blazed light blue, his wolf's eyes scanned the chamber and huffed when he saw Taehyung had cast a spell at the entrance of the chamber.

And he has the audacity to say that he didn't care about Jungkook.

Jimin shook his head but a smile came on his lips, this time a genuine one. 

"Looks like His Majesty secured your chamber last night," Jimin said after taking over his wolf again.

"Huh?" Jungkook said and Jimin chuckled because he knows the omega must be looking confused under his veil.

"Here," Jimin pointed on the ground and Jungkook saw a long and thick strip of a sword over the entrance of his chamber.

"Did Royal Alpha come here last night?" Jimin asked, although the whole room was reeking of his brother's scent, he wanted to tease the oblivious golden beauty standing inside.

Jungkook felt his heart start skipping beats as his neck turned warm," Yes, Alpha was here last night to deliver this dress to me." 

Jimin nodded his head, his amused eyes stared at the beautiful dress Taehyung had chosen for the omega. It was perfect, Jungkook was looking very gorgeous like a golden fairy.

"Can you break the spell for me Luna so that I would be able to enter?" Jimin asked politely but laughed when Jungkook asked a question back to him.

"Alpha will not get mad right?" 

"No, he will not get mad, Jungkookie. Just break the line with your sword and let me enter. It can only be broken from inside." Jimin said after his laugh got stifled in light chuckles.

Jungkook nodded his head and broke the thick strip with the swift motion of his sword. Jimin stepped inside the chamber and sat on the bed calmly.

"We will leave soon and I hope we will reach Eclipse before the afternoon," Jimin said and tapped the bed, gesturing to the standing omega to sit beside him.

Jungkook sat at the end of the bed so gracefully that Jimin smiled fondly at the omega. "You are looking very beautiful Jungkook, People of the eclipse are surely going to fall in love with their Luna at the first sight."

Jungkook blushed again and shook his head in denial.

Jimin smelled the air again and couldn't help but ask with his wiggling eyebrows," Why does your chamber have a strong scent of your Alpha if he just came here to deliver the dress?" 

That totally caught Jungkook by surprise as his eyes got widened. Jungkook got speechless and Jimin started laughing again at the flustered omega.

So, my little brother scented him too. I wonder why he has to pitch so much security over a person who is not important to him?

Jimin smiled brightly and patted Jungkook's head," Don't worry, I am just teasing you."

Jungkook sighed in relief and looked down at the golden strips of his dress, his fingers playing with them as he thought about the last night.

"Hyung?" Jungkook called Jimin when his brain got stuck on a memory.

"Yes?" 

"Last night, Alpha summoned a maid to drop this dress but Alpha ordered her to keep looking down. why is that? I mean, People have seen me before." 

Now it was Jimin's turn to get surprised, his eyes went comically wide when he asked again," Did Taehyung really said that?"

"Yeah, why? Is there any problem, hyung?" Jungkook was fidgeting with his veil when Jimin took a long time to reply.

Jimin got confused because it was very rare for Taehyung to talk, he connected dots in his mind for his brother's behaviour when something came into his mind," Were you wearing your veil at that time?"

Jungkook shook his head and said," No, I wasn't. 
Alpha came just before I was going to sleep so I wasn't wearing the veil at that time."

Jimin nodded his head and said casually," So that's because of it. Courted Omegas are not allowed to show his bare neck to any outsider till he gets marked by his Alpha. If you show it, it will seem like you are mocking your Alpha that he couldn't mark you which is very disrespectful."

Jungkook gasped and covered his mouth," Hyung, when are you planning to tell me this? Oh no, what if Alpha thinks that I was mocking him by standing without a veil. I swear of the moon goddess hyung, I wasn't being disrespectful at all, I didn't know about it." Jungkook said quickly as he thought his Alpha being mad with him, the thought alone made Jungkook so distressed.

Jimin's eyes turned amused as he saw Jungkook getting wretched over his small mistake," Are you perhaps raising your voice on me?" 

Jungkook immediately stood on his feet to apologise to the elder but Jimin stopped him in the middle and made him sit beside him again," Calm down, Luna. Taehyung is not mad, trust me if he would be mad then he would tell you right there to cover your neck but he didn't right?"

Jungkook nodded his head and Jimin continued," Instead he told the maid to look down. That means he knows you are new to every culture of Eclipse and it was partially my fault too. No one will mad at you, I promise."

Jungkook sighed in relief and noted this rule in his mind," This rule is entirely different from other rules. Another rule shows, one wolf can live however he wants in Eclipse. But this rule somehow bound you to your Alpha's wish."

"Yes, you are right. In front of family members, it is a different matter but Alphas never shows his unmarked omega in front of others. This rule is valid until the omega gets marked by his Alpha, after that omega can flaunt his neck to everyone. It is because Alphas are very protectively possessive of their mates and Taehyung is no different in this scenario. His old mind still follows this old rule."

Jimin laughed lightly at his remark but he didn't expect that Jungkook will get completely defensive toward his Alpha. So it caught Jimin in sudden surprise when he heard Jungkook's next word.

"But aren't you said you are older than Royal Alpha by one year."

Jimin's laughs died down as his mouth went open. Is he calling me old? Does he mean I have a much older mind than Taehyung?

"Why are you turning defensive on me, I was just joking," Jimin said.

Jungkook blinked his eyes twice as he was thinking why he felt a sudden feeling to protect his Alpha when Prince Jimin threw that remark, he knew the Royal Omega didn't mean it in a bad way but still he gets all defensive toward him. Maybe that's how mates protect each other.

"I am still 23 for your kind information," Jimin said and flicked his black hairs over his shoulders.

"Yeah, our hyungnim is 23 years old for many years."

Both omegas stared at each other defensively before they fell into fits of laughter that echoed into the chamber until a soldier announced their departure.
