The sudden sharp neighing voice of horses awoke Jimin from his deep slumber. He sat on his seat and tried his best to open his eyes with his fist, rubbing them cautiously.

He got successful in his task and looked up to see Jungkook was already up and reading his book again. He shook his head lightly, a fond smile spread on his lips.

He moved forward and pulled the curtains to look outside, their caravan had stopped near a big lake and their servants were planting some small and big tents beside the lake. The moon was spreading its moonlight, making the dark night more endearing.

"Looks like we will spend tonight's night here," Jimin spoke, his voice coming roughly than intended.

That caught Jungkook's attention who was smiling shyly reading his book but immediately closed it to look outside.

"They have chosen a beautiful scenery to rest," Jungkook said and picked his crown from the pillow before adorning it on his head. 

"Yes, Taehyung loves nature. He might have chosen it specifically because of that." Jimin said and both decided to wait until someone comes and informed them that all pavilions were done

"After reaching your pavilion, change your dress into something comfortable and make sure to sleep till the dawn. We still have a long journey ahead. Tomorrow will be a big day for you and I don't want you to look tired on your first day of Eclipse. So take a very good rest, Luna, okay?" Jimin said and smiled when Jungkook nodded his head.

"But Is it okay if I change the dress? Should I wear it again in the morning?" Jungkook asked.

"No. You don't have to. Taehyung will come and give you a new dress, An omega must wear his Alpha's desired dress when he steps inside his Pack. So, You will wear that dress for tomorrow. It's only for your first day, after that, you can wear whatever you want." 

Jungkook got slightly surprised but quickly cleared his throat," Okay, Hyung. Thank you so much." 

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows, a teasing expression surfacing over his lips," Thank you? Why are you thanking me, Luna?"

Jungkook's heart soared when he heard that word again, Luna, He never thought he would be someone's omega where people would give him such respect. His eyes were soft as he was looking at Prince Jimin.

"It's all because of you, Hyung. I am very new to all these customs and relations but you are helping me a lot, without your help I don't know what would have happened to me. You advised me on every step. Please accept my bow, hyung."

Jungkook bowed, paying his respect to the elder but a hand on his shoulder stopped him," I forbid you to bow to me, Remember? My order still stands, so don't bow but you can hug me whenever you want." Jimin showed his eye blinding smile and pulled Jungkook in a heartwarming hug.

"You are so small, Jungkookie. I know you are a strong warrior who can protect your pack but for me, you are an oblivious child right now. And It's my responsibility to show you the right path until you become old enough to state your decisions in Eclipse. So, don't worry about anything." Jimin caressed Jungkook's head over the veil.

He pulled away and sat beside Jungkook, taking a hold of his hand Jimin spoke again," But Can I ask a favour from you?" 

"Yes, anything Hyung," Jungkook said. He would feel blessed if he was able to complete Jimin's favour.

"It's about Taehyung," Jimin said and his hold tightened over Jungkook's hand.

"You need to be careful around Taehyung, My brother is not like other Alphas you might have heard before. By now, you might have noticed it too, Taehyung never shows any emotions on his face. But things weren't like this from the start, they got changed."

"Taehyung never laughs even if he is feeling good inside, he never shows his anger even if he is fuming inside, there is always a blankness in his eyes. Being the Royal King of Europe he left his emotions long ago, for him every day is another day of work."

"So be careful when you say something to him because you wouldn't know in what manner your words would be taken by him," Jimin said and patted his hand softly.

Jungkook was quiet when Jimin was talking, but he doesn't know why his heart hurt when his Alpha's blank eyes flashed in his memory. What would have happened in the past that made his Alpha this isolate? 

"But how do you understand Alpha without him saying anything?" Jungkook asked curiously.

"I read his eyes, he is my brother for years now so I know the little changes in his expressions. You will know them too but you need time for that." Jimin smiled but this time his smile didn't reach his eyes, the Royal Prince sighed and reached Jungkook's head to straight up his crown slightly.

"Don't worry hyung. I'll be careful with my words and try my best to keep him happy." Jungkook said with determination, making the Royal Prince laugh out loud. 

"You are already doing your Job, my Luna. It occurred to me that our Royal Alpha is turning slightly soft. I wonder what happened" Jimin smirked and bumped his shoulder with Jungkook's in a teasing way, Jungkook's cheeks flushed red as his hands started fumbling his books, a bashful smile and with delightful eyes, he packed his books in the bag.

To his mercy, a knock heard on the window turning the laughing Prince Jimin at ease as he replied calmly," Yes?"

"The Pavilions are all ready, Your Highness," Yeonjun informed.

Jimin opened the door and stepped down, taking Jungkook's hand he helped him to get down while Yeonjun was straightening the long veil.

"I will drop you to your pavilion and then return to mine, I have informed the maids to prepare a suitable bath for you, don't forget to take one before falling asleep, okay?" Jimin said as both Omegas started walking to their pavilions.

"Yes, hyungnim," Jungkook said. He was feeling so glad that he found a brother in law like Prince Jimin who is taking care of him like a mother, a mother he never had before.

Soon, Both halted in their steps as they saw three big white pavilions standing in a row and some small pavilions around the lake.

"The first one is occupied by His Majesty, Your Highness," Yeonjun said, talking about the big pavilions.

"Okay then, the second will be Luna's and next to Luna's will be mine," Jimin informed, as he walked Jungkook to his pavilion.

"Good night, Luna." Prince Jimin said.

"Good night, hyungnim," Jungkook replied and bowed lightly before entering into his tent, closing the curtain behind him.

Jimin and Jungkook both were stubborn, Jungkook had said to not call him Luna because Jimin is way much older than him but Jimin said he will call him Luna because it's his right. Similarly, Jimin had forbidden Jungkook to not bow to him but the younger said he will bow to him because it's his right. So both concluded that they will talk and behave formally in front of others.

Jimin sighed and turned to the guards that were standing outside the entrance of the tent," Make sure no one can enter Luna's chamber while sleeping."

The guards gave a firm nod and bowed to the Prince.

Jungkook looked around the chamber, everything was so beautiful, this chamber doesn't have any windows and the wall of the tent is thick too, many lanterns were lightening around his chamber, giving a dim yellow shade to his chamber. 

There is a makeshift bed in the corner of the chamber and some fresh towels and pillows were placed neatly over it. 

Jungkook took out his crown and placed it securely on one of the pillows. He discards his veil and hangs it over a hook. Next, Jungkook removes his red norigae from his waist and then his earrings. 

He took two towels and some nightclothes and went to the separate bathhouse in his tent which is secured by two curtains, one curtain has fringes which you can tie to the rims of the tent and another curtain is to drape over it for double security.

Jungkook sighed in relief when he saw two large wooden buckets filled with water in the centre of the bathhouse. 

Jungkook took a good long bath and removed all the dusty dirt from his body, the road they had taken before was full of barren dirt, so he decided to wash his hairs too.

He went outside the bathhouse after wearing a simple white hanfu around his body. He was feeling tired now, he starts drying his hairs so that he would finally go to sleep. His red hairs turned into dark red after soaking in the water. 

He patted the towel softly over his long hairs, combing the knots of his hairs with his finger while tilting his head slightly, his hairs were still slightly wet when Jungkook decided that it will be enough. He placed the towel aside and flicked his hairs left and right, his silky red hairs falling beautifully around his shoulders and back.

Jungkook starts making his bed when he felt a warm feeling dwells in his heart, making his body shivered slightly, maybe because of the cold breeze of the lake, he shrugged off and continued his task. 

He stopped his actions and froze in his place when his wolf felt a presence behind him, no one could dare to enter inside his chamber without his permission or any announcement.

He eyed his sword that was resting under his pillow and in a swift motion, he took the sword and swung it while turning around.

His sword stopped exactly over the neck of the intruder. But soon Jungkook gasped and shrieked away, his grip loosen up on the sword until it falls from his hand.

Because the intruder was none other than his Alpha.

Taehyung was quick to hold the falling sword with his one hand without removing his eyes from the younger. 

Jungkook looks down and starts stretching the fabric of his sleeves up to his palms, feeling anxious around his alpha, his heart starts beating at its peak.

Calm down calm down. Jungkook blinked his eyes severely and suddenly realised he didn't bow yet. 

He immediately bowed to the Royal King and greeted," Please accept my bow, Alpha." 

Taehyung blinked calmly and said, "Accepted." 

Jungkook stood in his relaxed position but still didn't look up, why am I like this?  He thought as he felt his voice caught up in his throat unable to make any noise. 

His heart was racing, the alpha was not saying anything just staring at him with his hard eyes, making Jungkook more anxious, his toes curled up under his long white skirt in anticipation.

"Come inside, eyes down," Taehyung ordered, his deep voice made Jungkook's hair rise over his nape.

Soon a maid comes inside the chamber, her eyes cast down to her feet and bowed to both of them. She was holding a big wooden tray on which a beautiful golden hanfu was placed gorgeously.

"Two steps left, keep it down." Jungkook heard his Alpha's voice again before the maid kept the dress over a wooden stool to her left side and took her leave.

Jungkook subconsciously tucked his red hairs behind his ears and peeked from his long eyelashes towards his Alpha, but he immediately ducked his head down when he saw Royal Alpha was staring right at him.

He gulped the thick saliva that gathered around his tongue and thought to say something.

Jungkook, our alpha is here. Say something.

What? What should I say Kookie, when he is staring at me like that?

Anything, I don't know but say something or he will go away again.

Stop, let me think something.

After some time Jungkook comes up with a thought and says," Thank you, Alpha." Everything inside Jungkook was messing up with him at this point.

Woah Jungkook, *sighs* you are doing great.

Kookie stop, I am tryin-

"For what?" 

Jungkook came out of his thoughts and looked up, this time holding his Alpha's gaze.

"For saving me that day. I nearly accepted my fate of being dead but thankfully Alpha saved me." Jungkook bowed slightly in respect and looked up again, his soft black eyes meeting with blank grey ones.

If Jungkook would have blinked, he would have missed the slight nod he has earned from the Alpha.

But he thanked the heavens because Jungkook saw it as he was staring at his Alpha with his big shining doe eyes.

Taehyung took one step forward toward Jungkook and stood in front of him, his eyes were locked with the defenceless omega as he left the sword on the bed. 

The overwhelming scent of his Alpha was making the omega feel peacefully calm, his features got relaxed when the sandalwood musky scent occupied his body, he wanted to close his eyes but felt scared that his Alpha would go away from his eyes.

Both were staring into each other's eyes, while one pair of eyes were soft and happy, the other pair was all blank and rough.

Jungkook took a step forward, invading the private proximity of his Alpha and stared into those blank eyes, trying his best to read them. He wanted to see what those eyes hold for him. 

But he furrowed his eyebrows when he found nothing. Prince Jimin was right, there are many curtains draped over the emotions of his Alpha. But Jungkook decides that he will do anything to make these eyes lively again.

He promised to himself.

But right now, when he is standing so close to his Alpha, it's getting very hard for him to keep his tired eyes open and maintain the eye contact with the other.

Jungkook wants to live this moment more but again his eyes were betraying him.

The calming scent of his Alpha was lulling him to deep sleep, his eyes flapped twice or thrice before they got closed in sleep.

His body seemed like floating but this time it didn't collapse on the floor but crushed into his Alpha's torso.

Taehyung looked down when the omega's body clasped over his chest, the omega's breathing was calm, the sign of a deep slumber.

Taehyung keeps standing there, his hands behind his back, not touching the omega at all. He was contemplating on his thoughts, deciding should he remove the omega from his body or should he attain him.

But the Royal Alpha knows, he was courted and the omega over his torso is his responsibility now. But Just a responsibility.

A responsibility that bounded with him without his choice. 

So he has to pay his duties, willingly or unwillingly.

Taehyung unlocked his hands behind his back and grabbed Jungkook's waist with his hand. He squeezed it tightly and hoisted his body up until his nose touched Jungkook's neck.

He parted his mouth and breath out, leaving a trail of his warm breath over Jungkook's scent gland.

He lifted the omega and laid him on the bed. He went out after securing the chamber with his sword, leaving the sleeping omega alone on his bed.
