It was late afternoon when the train stopped. You have now arrived.

"Ah Hosenka. Oh I can't wait to head in the spa. You probably should too you can really use it." She suggested.

You smiled and turned to her. "You certainly are right Levy. I haven't been here since I was a little kid. Can't wait."

"Let's find our place and unpack before we head out."

"Good idea. I'm so excited. Haven't traveled much really. Glad I'm getting the chance."

It was a short walk to the tiny home you were staying for the night. You change into your kimono robe. You wait for Levy and walk to the spa.

You both arrive. It's has two sides but are gender based.

"See in a half hour or so?" You asked.

"That's about right. I don't want to prun."

"Have fun." You winked.

"Till then. Hope it helps." She enters the female side and you part ways.

White towel around the waist you enter the hot water. It felt like warm bath water that could never go cold.

You pick a nice spot to sit. Head back, back comfortable, and feet up. Any soreness physically or mentally is slowly fading. And you have Levy to thank for that.

Man this is ever so wonderful. I feel like a new man. All I have is the new life in front of me. And with all these new friends I love every minute. I feel like I'm dreaming.

Over on the female side of the spa Levy is having a good time. Lucy has been there for a while as she gets in the water.

"Hey Lu how's it going?" Asked Levy.

"Just getting away from Natsu and all the trouble. Not a bad thing but time to relax. How's your time with (First)?"

"Oh you have no idea. (First) has his eyes on someone and whoever it is she's lucky." Dazed Levy.

"Do you like him?" Asked Lucy boldly.

Levy blushed. "Not sure. Just the train here we talked. He's just so sweet, selfless, and romantic. Something only books can describe."

"Don't go all Juvia on me please."

"Sorry Lu just kind of you know... drifting off. I'll stop. No point carrying on. I'm sure he's got someone else on his mind."

"Well hate to leave you like this but it's time for me to get out. Enjoy the rest of your soak."

Just like that Lucy went out. After changing she met you outside. You were staring at the shiny whiter than usual moon and stars.

"How goes it (First)?" She introduced.

"Lucy? Oh hey doing great. What are you up to here?"

"Well getting away from Natsu and Happy for a bit. Had a nice girl talk with Levy and I'm about to head out. You waiting on someone?"

"I'll have Levy take her time. With those jerks around I don't want to leave her walking back alone."

"That's true. I mean I have celestial spirits to call so I'm set."

"Lucky you. No sweat though I'll protect her. I'd do the same for you."

"Awww you are rather sweet."

"Thanks Lucy. Have a good night."

Levy finally walks out and feels like a million jewel. Her eyes twinkle as bright as the night sky. You noticed this right away. "Does a kimono look good on me?" She asked nervously.

You hesitate because she's gorgeous. "Umm brings out your eyes."

"Oh. Geez thank you. So now that spa time is over want to head back for a bit?"

"Sure thing lead the way."

You get back from a short walk and change into your regular attire. (Favorite color) shirt, black pants, and a thin black coat unbuttoned because the wind was getting a little cold.

After changing you head back in the main living space and break open Loves Paradise the book Levy let you borrow. It was really something different.

As you are through most of the chapter Levy comes out. "I'm heading to Super Express. You coming?"

"In a sec. I'm gonna finish chapter one and I'll be right with you."

"Well I'm going to start heading out."

"In your kimono?" You puzzled.

"This thing is pretty comfy. Why not?" She replied.

"Okay suit yourself. I'll be catching up momentarily."

"See you at the counter. Till then (First)." Well he's reading the book I let him borrow. He even brought it on the trip. I admire that. Now to get something to eat.

Just as she walks down one road she's stopped by someone.

"Hey baby whatcha doing tonight?" Asked the man. He was wearing baggy pants, a black tee, a hat, and a huge chain on his neck.

"I'm meeting a friend for dinner." She replied.

"Girls night to eat or something?"

"Umm no just a friend eating before getting some shut eye. Just a guy I work with."

"Then he won't mind if we have a night out right? Name it sexy. Dinner? Club? Pub?"

"Neither I'm not ditching my friend."

"You know baby my temper is getting thinner so what's it going to be? Don't make me choose bitch!" He grabbed her wrist.

Wait what's going on? I can't move. Oh no he's one of them. A renigade wizard? Please someone help me.

For Levy's sake you were just in time. Focusing your energy in your feet you were able to run faster. You leap and channel all your magic to your dominant hand. You punch him in the nose airborne. He leaps ten feet back and lands back first. He's conscious but no way he's getting up.

You run up and hug Levy. She's shaking a little. But her heart is starting to slow down."Levy please tell me you aren't hurt." You ask nervously.

"I'm fine just a little scared. I thought he was going to hurt me." She started to tear.

"Everything will be okay. I will protect you with my life. It's my fault for staying and reading more tonight. I'm sorry."

She gasped. What? He thinks this is on him?

"Let's turn him in, collect the reward, and finally eat. But hey we got started early right? We will be paid handsomely soon. We already got our rooms covered from him now we can have fun with it. Maybe a few books and a something special."

"Like what?" She asked confused.

You grin. "I've been told sometimes that sort of thing catches you by surprise."

"Fair enough. Do you mind dragging this sicko and I follow you after what just happened?"

You bow. "With pleasure."

So after splitting the reward you both grab seats next to each other at Super Express.

"So what are you thinking tonight? The silent chef makes great dishes." She asked concerned trying to some ways pick your brain.

"You know I can afford it now. Maybe a roll or two of sushi and today's special. Why not right?"

"Whoa sushi?" She spluttered.

"Ya why?" You ask hesitate.

"It's just nice having something in common. I like to try new stuff and I'm a sushi girl. Most of the guild members are meat and beer type of guys."

"Their lose really. I see only Happy eating raw fish." You laugh.

"You're right. Natsu fries his. Bones and all."

You sweatdropped. "Ain't that much?"

"I'd say so. Lucy witnesses it often as you can tell. Haha."

"Well not sure if you can tell but I'm not like others. I do my own thing. And I put priorities in check."

"Elfman would think you are a real man."

"Haha sure without the meat head part I guess."

"Definitely."

You raise your glass. "Cheers for a vacation and days work."

"Cheers."

You get back from dinner and both of you are worn out. Your place had two bedrooms. You quickly say goodnight and you both head to bed.

Although you couldn't just fall asleep after what today had to offer you. Something inside you said you were sleeping at the very moment. But you decide to read another chapter of the book and head to bed. You weren't asleep for long until you heard a knock on your door. And it opened slightly.

"(First) can I.... step in." She asked shaken up.

"Do it." You reply as you roll over. Your in boxers and a plain white tee since it's hot out but a lady is in the same establishment.

"Come sit Levy what's wrong?"

"I'm.... I'm scared."

"Hey no problem. Since it's late we can call it tomorrow. We will go back to the guild tomorrow."

"But don't you need the money?"

"Not that bad. Didn't I tell you at dinner? Priorities. Our well being is more important than money. We will find another job tomorrow when we get back home. I'm sorry about what happened today. Do you want to stay here to be comfortable?"

"I was going to ask you that."

"I can take the floor. I'm used to it. Make yourself at home."

"No way. You pay for this too. Not taking away your bed. I'll take the other side and we split it. It's a King size right."

"Right. Sure. That all?"

"Ya. And (First)?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you and goodnight. I won't forget this."

"Your welcome. Sweet dreams." I hope she can't see me blushing. This is all so new to me. That and I can't tell her now. It'll freak her out.

And in what seemed as seconds you both fall asleep happily.
