Chapter 1
On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible. He only got eight of them.
In Grand Haven, Michigan. A young woman was currently pouring coffee for a customer at a coffee shop. It was October 1, 1989. She walked away from the customer smiling, and behind the doors to grab another cup. Except she walked back through the doors screaming, nine months pregnant.
"Oh my god!" another waitress gasped as she dropped a plate of food. With the help of some customers and waitresses, the woman gave birth to a baby girl. Hours later a man named Sir Reginald Hargreeves came into the restaurant, to the booth, the woman sat with her baby.
"Extraordinary!" Reginald gasped as he leaned over, reaching for the baby. " How much do you want for it?"
Sir Reginald got the baby girl from Grand Haven, Michigan, stuck her with the number seven, while her 'mother' gave her the name of Sabrina. Now Sabrina grew up to have foxy red hair, and icy blue eyes, along with developing the ability to duplicate herself.

Many, many tragic years, Sabrina along with the rest of her siblings have left the Umbrella Academy, she did not want to be a part of her father's crime-fighting team anymore. After Five ran away, along with Ben's death, the house seemed even more haunting than before.
At this exact moment Sabrina was working at a bar she owned she was laughing, having a Grand Old Time. The bar was called Hargreeve Drunks.
" Going home early today boss?" one of her worker's asked as he cleaned a glass, she currently had a customer in front of her.
" Not today," Sabrina answered as a customer walked in.
"Can you do that thing?" a coworker asked. "We got our hands full." Sabrina breathed, then she projectile another Sabrina, the duplicate of her walked over to the awaiting customer and began to serve him. The music then cut down, over a new's story.
" Gee, what could be more interesting than a Spice Girl's throwback?" Sabrina 2 asked.
"Don't be narcissistic," Sabrina told her other self before Sabrina 2 walked over and they became once again.
"Breaking news," an announcer said. " We're going now live to a breaking story, moments ago police reported the death of the most eccentric and reclusive billionaire. Sir Reginald Hargreeves has passed away." Sabrina's face drained, and she stopped, her father may have been a world-class asshole, but she never expected him to die just yet.
" Look over the bar," Sabrina ordered. " I am heading home." He was one of her only employees, most of the time she made at least a dozen duplicates of herself to run the bar. It was great, cause sometimes whatever man tried to hit on her, she would never actually know if it happened. Plus, paying someone else wasn't that much stress.
" And when exactly will you be back?" the man asked as he folded his arms, glaring at her.
" My father has passed away, I will be back in a week," Sabrina said as she took off her work apron, threw it down, and walked out.
******
Hours later Sabrina arrived outside the gates of her enormous childhood home. She stared up at it, wondering what troubles would lie inside.
"He's gone," a voice spoke, not making her jump. That voice showed up at the bar every once in a while. The person of the voice was her bouncer every once in a while. Sabrina glanced to see the man dressed in all black, with straps on him, as if he was a GI Joe. He had a couple of scars on his face. That was number, 2, Diego, his power being able to manipulate knives. One of her adopted brothers out of five.
"What's with the outfit?" Sabrina asked.
"I say it's very macho." Diego shrugged.
"Sure," Sabrina rolled her eyes "Let's go see what other siblings are here."
" At least I'm wearing black," Diego said as they walked towards the door, he had quite a point. Sabrina still had clothes on from when she was at work, which was a long sleeve dark green six button-up shirt, with only the bottom three buttoned, a black tank top underneath, and black pants.
" I got some black," Sabrina argued as she duplicated herself, Sabrina number 2 ran over and opened the door for them. They saw two girls talking to each other, one had perfect hair, a celebrity, known to their father as number three. She was Allison, her power was to influence events by prefacing any statement with "I heard a rumor." She was talking to their adopted Sister Vanya. Number 8, she was ordinary along with a backstabber that exposed the family secrets to the world. Both girls are her adopted sisters. "What is she doing here?" The Sabrinas became once again.
"You don't belong here," Diego added as she stopped and he continued walking. " Not after what you did."
" You two are seriously going to do this today?" Allison asked annoyed. " Way to dress for the occasion, by the way.
" He's at least wearing black," Sabrina pointed out, Allison was currently wearing a blue top.
" You know?" Vanya began. " Maybe those two's right."
"I will let it pass for now," Sabrina admitted, there was a time to be an ass, and a funeral was not the time. " Forget us for now."
" I'm glad you're here," Allison said, she was always one of the nicer siblings. All of them as well began to walk around the house, Sabrina walked into the room where 5's fourteen-year-old portrait hung above the fireplace. She was the closes with five and Ben among her siblings, unlike her sister, Allison.
Sabrina would never dream of developing a crush on her siblings. Allison had an obvious secret thing with Luther for a while. Before she married Patrick, had her daughter Claire, and then got a divorce. And Luther was sent to the moon. Sabrina had a lot of flings over the years, but nothing ever too serious. Most of the time just hookups after a long shift.
In the room, Sabrina saw Vanya and Pogo hugging. Pogo was an advanced Chimpanzee and an assistant to the family. He used to be experimented on in the past.
" How long has it been since Five disappeared?" Sabrina asked as she walked into the room, eyes on the portrait.
" It's been 16 years, four months, and fourteen days," Pogo answered. " Your father insisted I keep track."
"You wanna know something stupid?" Vanya asked. " I used to leave the lights on for him. I was scared that he would come back, it would be late and the house would be dark and he wouldn't be able to find us, so he'd leave again." Sabrina recalled started to recall those nights with her sister.
" We would make a snack every night," Sabrina recalled. " You were the one to make sure all the lights were on."
" Oh, I remember your snacks," Pogo recalled. " I'm pretty sure I stepped in half of those peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches." The sisters smiled lightly at each other as Pogo glanced at Five's portrait, then back at the girls. " Your father always believed that Number Five was still out there somewhere. He never lost hope."
"And look where that got him," Vanya pointed out. Sabrina shook her head, before heading upstairs.
***Allison's memory***
They were young and waited outside their father's office. Dressed in their nightclothes, Sabrina stood in between Allison and Klaus. Their robotic mother knocked on the door and opened it. They saw their father writing away as usual. Their mother looked at them, then at their father, then back at them. She wore a big red lipstick smile. Their robotic mom had blonde hair; dressed like a mom in the seventies.
" Okay!" Mom smiled at them; the kid's smiles all dropped. " Time for bed now, kids. Come along now." Everyone rolled their eyes. " Come along now."
" Race you," Sabrina said to Ben and Five. The three glanced at each and started to run, Five did spatial jumps, as Sabrina duplicated herself a couple of feet away, before becoming one with it.
" You two are cheating!" Ben argued as they ran.
*********
Sabrina walked up to come into collision with Luther, he was a giant tall blonde guy. He was bigger than she last saw him. Luther was number one, he had super strength and durability.
"Been hitting the gym on the moon?" Sabrina asked as they walked towards dad's office.
"There isn't a gym on the moon," Luther grunted.
"You are a lot stronger than I remember," Sabrina pointed out.
" You are a lot less numbered the I remember," Luther said. " You used to duplicate yourself into at least five of you at least once a week."
" I still do," Sabrina laughed. Minutes later they saw their dad's office was opened, they saw Klaus sitting in dad's chair in front of his portrait, and Allison with him. Sabrina sees Klaus the most out of all her siblings..he loves to show up at her bar; he gets free drinks. Klaus has the power to speak to the dead. Klaus looked the same as before...high.
" Number Three," Klaus imitated dad's voice, as they walked in.
" Get out of his chair," Luther ordered. Klaus looked over at them, his eyes widening up his eyes.
" Oh, wow, Luther!" Klaus gasped. " Wow...you really...uh." Allison had her eyes glued on number one as Klaus stood up. " You really filled out over the years, huh?" Klaus tried to flex.
" Klaus," Luther breathed.
" Save the lecture. I was already leaving," Klaus said as he held up his hand, he made his way toward the door. " You guys can talk amongst yourselves."
" Meet you downstairs," Sabrina breathed, she turned around and walked out; she made her way down to her room. Her room was right across from Five's room. She opened the door to find nothing had changed, the same emerald walls. Two tri-fold mirrors for when she wants to duplicate; one on each wall. On her desk was a bulletin board filled with photos of friends, and her siblings. She picked up the last one she had of her, Ben, and Five. On her bed was a teddy bear Sabrina got when she and Klaus snuck out to attend the fair. She closed the door before making her way downstairs.
Moments later they all were in the room where an animal head sat on the wall, Sabrina stood by the bar section pouring Klaus a drink.
" Um," Luther breathed as he stood up. " I guess we should get this started. So, I figured we could have a sort of memorial service in the courtyard at sundown. Say a few words, just at Dad's favorite spot."
" Dad had a favorite spot?" Sabrina asked.
" You know, under the oak tree," Luther brought up as Klaus took his drink and headed towards the others, with a cigarette in his mouth. " We used to sit out there all the time. None of you ever did it?"
" Will there be any refreshments?" Klaus asked. " Tea? Scones? Cucumber sandwiches are always a winner?" He went to sit down.
" What? No," Luther denied. " And put that out. Dad didn't allow smoking in here." Sabrina duplicated herself, her duplication cleaned up as she went to go sit down. She sat down next to Vanya.
" Is that my skirt?" Allison asked as she pointed at the fabric on Klaus.
"What?" Klaus asked, he glanced down and lit up. " Oh, yeah, this. I found it in your room. It's a little dated, I know, but it's breathy on the bits."
" Listen up," Luther ordered, he closed his eyes closed for a second in annoyance. " Still some important things that we need to discuss, all right?"
" Like what?" Diego asked he sat in the chair closest to the windows, soaking in the sun.
" Like the way he died," Luther answered.
" And here we go," Diego groaned as Klaus sat down next to Sabrina.
" I don't understand," said both of the Sabrinas.
" I thought they said it was a heart attack," Vanya brought up, Sabrina 2 walked back over, signaling she was done with the cleaning.
"Yeah, according to the coroner," Luther confirmed.
" Well, wouldn't they know?" Vanya asked.
" Theoretically," Luther answered.
" Theoretically?" Allison asked Sabrina 2 sat down on the original Sabrina, so they became one. She was able to become one from distances away, but she liked having the bodies come to her.
" I'm just saying at the very least, something happened," Luther theorized. " The last time I talked to Dad, he sounded strange.
" Oh, quelle surprise!" Klaus gurgled, they all looked at him.
" Strange how?" Allison asked as she held out a hand toward Klaus.
" He sounded on edge," Luther answered. " Told me I should be careful who to trust."
"Luther," Diego breathed as he stood up. " He was a paranoid, bitter old man who was starting to lose what was left of his marbles." He walked over to number one.
" No," Luther denied as he looked at Diego. " He must have known something was going to happen." He looked at Klaus. " Look, I know you don't like to do it, but I need you to talk to Dad." Allison scoffed.
" I can't just call Dad in the afterlife and be like, Dad, could you just..." Klaus trailed as he sat up. " Stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call?" He waved around his cigarette.
" Since when?" Luther demanded. " That's your thing."
" He's not in the right frame of mind," Sabrina stated as she gestured to number four. " He's high."
" Yeah!" Klaus smiled. " Yeah!" He started to laugh. " I mean, how are you not listening to this nonsense?"
" Well, sober up, this is important," Luther ordered, Klaus let out a sigh as he leaned back into the couch. " Then there's the issue of the missing monocle."
" Who gives a shit about a stupid monocle?" Diego asked.
" Exactly," Luther breathed. " It's worthless. So whoever took it, I think it was personal." He looked at Diego, and then at the others. " Someone close to him. Someone with a grudge."
" Where are you going with this?" Klaus asked.
" Oh, isn't it obvious, Klaus?" Diego asked.
" Not when he's high or drunk," Sabrina scoffed. " Luther thinks one of us killed dad." She crossed her arms and glared at number one, Diego got into his face a little. Luther grunted softly and looked amongst them again.
" You do?" Klaus asked.
" How could you think that?" Vanya demanded.
" Great job, Luther," Diego congratulated. " Way to lead." He then walked away.
" That's not what I'm saying," Luther protested.
" You're crazy, man," Klaus informed as he stood up. " Crazy." He began to walk away. " Crazy."
" I've not finished," Luther declared as everyone else stood up.
" Sorry," Sabrina apologized as she clapped her hands together and duplicated. " We are just gonna go, murder Mom."
" Be right back," Klaus added as he hooked arms with both Sabrinas, those three then walked out.
" That's not what I was saying," Luther repeated himself. Everyone walked away, to go cool off.
