It was evening, the gate was banged by someone. Vaishu ran to open the gate and found Abhi standing there with a letter in his hand and blank emotions on his face. He came inside throwing his bag on the couch in lounge while Vaishu followed him.

Vaishu: What happened Abhi? You came early today.

Abhi opened the first button of his shirt and handed her an envelope. Vaishu took the envelope from his hand, unfolded it to find it an official notice. She glanced at him before reading it. It was an official notice from court. She folded it again, exhaling sharply.

Vaishu: Rits is much clever than I thought.

Abhi looked at her.

Abhi: So, you are still blaming that innocent girl for everything.

Vaishu (raising her eyebrow, sarcasm): Innocent girl!

Abhi (looking away): It is useless to talk to you Vaish. The thing which is bothering me is from where will we arrange a lawyer when 1st hearing is after 1 week? This boy has crossed all his limits.

Vaishu looked at him with disappointed in her eyes. She shook her head leaving from there. Vaish went to Sidd's room to find Reem who was sitting with Sidd feeding him soup while he was just eating it silently.

Vaishu: Reemi, I needed to have a talk to you in private.

Sidd looked at her.

Sidd (confusingly): What is it Bhabhi?

Vaishu (diverting the topic, not wanting to tell it to Sidd): Ah, nothing much Sidd. Its just.....

Sidd (cuts her): di please, I know there is something which you are hiding. Please don't hide.

Vaish surrendered as she was caught.

Vaishu: Court orders have been arrived. First hearing is next week's Monday.

Reem (tensing): -And today is Tuesday.

Vaishu nodded. Tears formed in Sidd's eyes.

Sidd (chuckled humorously): Now, no one save me from this mess.

Reem: Bhai please! Think positive. Everything will be fine.

Sidd: I want to sleep.

Reem: But bhai you haven't finished soup yet and you also didn't had anything after breakfast.

Sidd (whispers): Reemi, please.

Reem glanced at Vaishu who nodded her head.

Reem: Good night Bhai!

She wished him and left the room with Vaishu along with her. As soon as they left, Sidd burst into tears. He laid down on his bed crying silently cursing his fate.

After 1 week,

It was the first hearing day of court. They all were present in the court room. Avneet's family were on one side while Sidd's family on another. The judge sat on his chair and the hammer was banged by him. Sidd's heartbeat was increasing second by second. Reem held his hand, feeling his nervousness. He glanced at her while she nodded at him. This was seen by Avneet. Everyone sat on their seats.

Judge: Order Order! What is the new case of today?

Nandra's lawyer was Dev. He stood up.

Dev: Your owner my client Ritika Badiani has been raped by Abhishek Sharma's brother Siddharth Sharma and she is also pregnant with his child but he is not owning this child.

Sidd closed his eyes feeling himself insulted and low in front of everyone.

Judge: Hmm, but I can't see the opponent's lawyer.

Abhi glanced at Vaishu before standing up.

Abhi (a little afraid): Do I have permission to say something?

The judge nodded.

Abhi (looking down): The thing is that we are not wealthy people who can afford any lawyer for fight this case. We are ready to accept any punishment which the court will decide for us.

Sidd (standing up): But judge I haven't done anything.

The judge raised his eyebrow while Abhi glared at him.

Dev (looking at judge): I am sorry your owner but every criminal justifies himself like this only but I have it's strong proof.

He walked towards the judge withfile in his hand. He raised his hands to reach the judge's desk and gave that file to judge. The judge was a lady in her mid 40's. She wore her glasses and read the file. She looked up at Siddharth who gulped in fear.

Judge: So, Mr. Siddharth Sharma do you have anything to say in your favour?

Sidd (scared, stammering): I-I just want to say that I haven't  raped her a-and this child is not mine. She is staging everything.

Abhi (loud in anger): Siddharth just be quiet.

Sidd flinched at his loud pitch. The judge hit the hammer.

Judge: Sharma's family should represent their lawyer on the next hearing otherwise the decision will be taken by the court eyeing the one sided evidences.

Everyone stood up in the hall as the judge stood up. Everyone was gossiping about Sidd and his family. Avneet was observing Sidd only the whole time.

Avu (in mind): Why am I feeling that whatever is happening is not good and Sidd is innocent? Oh god! Please send any signal before this goes worse and out of control.

Avu's dad eyed Abhi who was exiting the room with his head down while his family following him. That's when, Sidd's eyes caught Rits who was smirking evily. His eyes moved from Rits to Avu who was also looking at him. He just exited from there silently. Outside, the media was already ready with many questions. As soon as Abhi's family came out they surrounded them. The police was right there so that took control on the situation. Media's disgusting questions and their taunts on Sidd made his family's situation more weak.

Abhi entered the gate and entered their home followed by Vaishu, Reem and Sidd. Sidd locked the door as he was the last one to enter inside. He went inside in living room to find Abhi sitting on the couch, holding his head in his hands. He stepped near his brother.

Sidd (low voice): Dada, I....

Abhi (standing up, loud voice, in anger): Don't you dare call me that again. You have lost all your rights to call me brother. You know how much embarrassement I faced today. Everyone in the hall was looking at us only. It was so shameful situation for me. I never thought I would feel this much embarrassed Siddharth. Just.... just go somewhere and die.

That is enough for Reem.

Reem (standing up, yelling back): ENOUGH DADA.

Abhi glanced at Reem then Sidd and suddenly realized what he said. His eyes widen while Sidd went numb.

Reem (yelling): Do you know what you are saying? How can you think of that bhai?

Abhi (whispering): Reemi!!

Reem (sobbing, yelling): No, don't stop me today. Do you want Sidd bhai to leave us as mama and papa?

Abhi shook his head while tears were flowing from Sidd's eyes.

Reem (yelling): It would be you who won't need him but I need him. If you have any issue with him, he will go from me but don't forget that I also won't stay here. I will also go with him where ever he goes. It would have been you who don't trust him but I do, even more than myself. I spend more time with him than you. If you don't trust your brother don't but never ever say anything like that again otherwise I will forget that you are my elder brother.

She was glaring at him with anger in her eyes. She looked at Sidd, who was still looking at his brother without blinking his eyes.

Reem (tears flowing from her eyes): One day, you will regret everything you are doing. Instead of shame, you will be proud of him but unfortunately you won't believe him as you are doing now.

Abhi stepped towards Reem while she stepped back, creating a major distance between both of them.

Reem: Don't step near me please! I am hardly controlling my emotions. Please!

Sidd (not blinking his eyes): I should leave now.

Saying this he took baby steps towards his room. Reem stepped to approach him but something stopped her. She looked down controlling her tears. Sidd closed the door with thud and locked it. Reem glanced at Abhi helplessly before running to her room.

Vaish (tearly eyes): It was so wrong which you did.

Saying this she also left for her room wiping her tears. Abhi glanced at Sidd's door. He slowly approached towards his door and started knocking it.

Abhi (lovingly, guilty): Ashu, Ashu..... You know I can't say anything like that right? I am sorry Ashu! Dada is sorry. Open the door please! Ashu!
