It was next morning, Reem came downstairs only to find Abhi sitting on the dining table, busy on his laptop  while Vaishu in the kitchen preparing breakfast for him. Reem slolwy decended the stairs still looking at Abhi. That's when, Vaishu came out of kitchen and placed a tray infront of Abhi and her eyes caught her.

Vaishu: Reem, why are you standing there? Come and have breakfast!

Abhi looked at Reem as she walked towards them.

Reem: Good morning bhai!

Abhi: Morning!

Vaishu sat on the chair beside Abhi.

Vaishu: Come have seat Reemi!

Reem (looking down): Bhabhi, I was wondering to look at Siddharth bhaiya before having breakfast.

That's when, they heard a loud noise. Yes, the fork fell from Abhi's hand and he stopped chewing his breakfast. Reem and Vaishu looked at each other not knowing what will happen next. Abhi stood up from his chair.

Abhi (stern): I am done with my breakfast. I should leave now.

Saying this he packed his laptop and left from there while Reem was continuously calling him from behind.

Vaishu: Reemi! Leave him on his own. He won't listen to you.

Tears shed Reem's eyes and she didn't know when she started crying. Vaishu stood up from her chair and made Reem sit on the chair opposite to her. Vaishu handed over her glass of water while she was continuously crying.

Vaishu (rubbing her back): Reem please! Calm down.

Reem (crying): How can I calm down bhabhi? My both brothers are dishearted from each other. Dada isn't ready to sit with Sidd bhaiya and have breakfast and there Sidd Bhaiya has been broken. Everything is messed up.

Vaishu looked away hiding her tears, squeezing her hand on Reem's shoulder. Vaishu wiped her tears and bend to wipe Reem's tear also.

Vaishu: It's not the time to break down like this. Sidd needs us. Be strong!

Vaishu motivated Reem while she wiped her tears nodding her head.

Vaishu (tensing): Now go and wake Sidd up. He isn't up till now. I hope he is fine.

Reem nodded standing up. She looked at Vaishu and hugged her tightly.

Reem (in hug): I don't know what good I did to deserve a sister like you.

Vaishu smiled, hugging her and kissing her hair.

Reem (squeezing): I love you so much.

Vaishu (chuckling): I love you too.

Reem broke the hug after sometimes.

Vaishu: Now go and wake Siddharth up.

Reem nodded leaving her hand and going towards Sidd's room. Vaishu looked up and joined her hand, praying silently. She was praying for everything to come on a normal track and the one who is behind it gets exposed to everyone proving Sidd's innocence.

Reem opened the door to feel the environment of the room so high. Yes, the temperature of the room was hot. She glanced at the AC to find it off. She frowned and switched it on, dragging the remote. Her eyes caught Sidd who was sleeping as if everything is normal. Despite of the hot temperature of room, he was sleeping peacefully. A question popped in her mind How? How can a person sleep so peacefully in such a hot room?

She paced close to him.

Reem (shaking him): Bhaiya! Bhaiya wake up!

That's when, her eyes caught his phone which was on silent mode but was vibrating. She glanced at it to find an unknown number.

Reem (talking to herself): Who is it calling him at this time?

She glanced at Sidd who was sleeping. She didn't wanted a single minute and picked the call. Before she could speak, she heard a female voice.

??: Darling, I have been calling you from so long. Where were you?

Reem's eyes widen as soon as she heard this voice. Yes, it was Rits voice. Reem didn't spoke a word.

Rits: What happened? Why are you so quite? Btw congratulations, you got released from prison but yeah not for a long time.

She finished her statement expecting Sidd to speak but she didn't know it was Reem instead of Sidd. Reem didn't spoke a single word but was grinding his teeth in anger.

Rits: Darling, atleast speak something na. Anyways, how was your tour to jail? Did you enjoyed?

Reem's eyes filled with tears hearing her.

Rits: anyways, I wanted to inform that the first date of court is after 1 week. So be ready and yeah, see ya soon babyboy.

Reem declined the call in anger but whatever Rits said was heard by Avneet as she is continuously spying on her suster.

Reem (anger, tears in her eyes): What does she think of herself? Bitch!

Her eyes caught Sidd who didn't woke up till now. Reem placed her hand on his forehead, caressing his hair.

Reem: Bhai, please wake up!

That's when, she realized that his body temperature was high. He had high fever. Sidd sniffed a little as Reem called Vaishu in a loud voice.,

Reem (yelling): BHABHI! Bhabhi!

Sidd opened his eyes in laziness to see Reem sitting beside him.

Sidd (whispers): Reemi!

Reem (looked at him): Bhai, bhai are you fine?

Sidd just nodded while Reem helped him to sit on bed.

Sidd (holding his head): My head is paining a lot.

Reem (placed her hand on his shoulder): You have high fever bhai!

Sidd didn't said anything but leaned on the wall. That's when, Vaishu entered Sidd's room.

Vaishu: Sidd you're up. Come and have breakfast.

Reem: Bhabhi, he have high fever.

Vaishu paced till his bed and sat beside him, keeping her hand on his forehead.

Vaishu: Yea, your right.

Sidd (opening his eyes, looking at Vaishu): di, will dada do breakfast with me? Please, ask him to have breakfast with me. Please!

Reem and Vaishu looked at each other.

Vaishu (serious): But Sidd, he has already left for office.

Tears trimmed in Sidd's eyes.

Sidd (tears rolling down his eyes, holding Vaishu's hands): Di, he is mad at me since evening. Di please ask him not to be mad at me please! Please! I haven't done anything.

Vaishu cupped his face.

Vaishu (wiping his tears): I know Sidd. Have faith on god. Time and god will prove you innocent.

Reem's pov

Now the time had come when our sister-in-law had to have more faith in us than our own blood brother. Please God, test us according to our will. I won't be able to live if something wrong happens with my brother.
