Alicia, Jake, Jade, and Jason arrive at the Sanctuary.

Jake: "(in head) Still missing Jay..."

Jade gets off Alicia's back.

Jade: "(nauseously) I don't feel so-"

Jade throws up all over the ground.

Alicia: "Motion sickness?"

Jade pukes more.

Jade: "Yep."

Jade picks up Jason.

Jade: "Looks like he's out like a light."

The four walk inside.

Jade: "How do you keep a place like this hidden?!"

Alicia: "My mom uses a vacuum to suck out the air, keeping light out and us hidden."

Onyx: "This young lady is this Jade you mentioned Royal?"

Jade: "(startled) Not used to here yet."

Jake: "I'm fine with you all calling me Jake. (in head) I just can't stop thinking about finding Jay..."

Jade sets Jason down.

Alicia: "I almost died from him."

Jade: "Then you should be glad I was with Jason and not Jay. He would've slit his throat or something."

Nova: "Jason..."

Troy: "(walking in) So he's the heir of Nova."

Alicia: "(disappointed) Troy just had to come in and kill the moment."

Jake: "(yawning) I'm about ready to crash."

Jake passes out on the floor.

Jade: "(pissed) Oh god dammit!"

Troy: "(puzzled) Why are you mad?"

Jade: "(angrily) Waking Jake up is the equivalent of pulling all of your hair out at once."

Flare: "It is pretty dark out."

Jade: "When those two wake up tomorrow, I'm letting those two handle breakfast."

Jade lies down on the floor.

Jade: "Guess I can sleep too."

Jade falls asleep.

Alicia: "(sighing) I'll get blankets."

Troy: "(excited) I'll help!"

Troy and Alicia leave the room.

Onyx: "You should've brought him with you when you left."

Flare: "So why didn't you?"

Nova pauses for a moment.

Nova: "I respect his human blood."

Onyx: "You have always been more sympathetic for humans."

Nova: "His father's name is Jonathan Velour, a simple shopkeeper in Makna."

Flare: "You entered humanoid form and had your heir with him."

Onyx: "So your heir's name is Jason?"

Nova: "Jason Velour. Although he appears to have grown up in a more wild lifestyle."

Alicia and Troy return.

Alicia: "Alright let's do this."

As Alicia puts blankets on Jason, Jade, and Jake, Troy takes off their weapons.

Troy: "Need to grab you by the strap, you by however I feel like, and you..."

Troy attempts to pick up Jade's weaponry.

Troy: "(angry) This thing is heavy!"

Alicia: "No way!"

Alicia attempts to help Troy pick up at least one weapon.

Jade: "(drowsy) Here you go."

Jade picks up the weaponry with one hand and drops it.

Alicia: "No wonder why my back hurts!"

Jade goes back to sleep.

Alicia: "I'm going to crash in my own bed!"

Alicia walks to her room.

Onyx: "Night."

Troy goes to his room.

Nova: "I just hope you let me be near Jason for a while.

Onyx and Flare enter humanoid form.

Onyx: "I can see why."

Flare: "Night."

Flare and Onyx go to bed as Nova enters humanoid form.

Nova: "I wish I could've been there."

Nova walks up to Jason.

Nova: "(crying) I can tell he didn't tell you. Why?"

Nova sits down next to Jason.

Nova: "(crying) Why Jonathan?"

Nova goes to bed.

Jason: "(drowsy) Huh?"

Jason looks around to find Jade and some other kid passed out on the floor.

Jason: "(in head) What the hell happened?"

Jason decides to go back asleep.

Next morning...

Jade: "(yawning) Wake up Jake!"

Jake: "(drowsy) Five more minutes mom..."

Jade smacks Jake.

Jade: "You and Jason are in charge of breakfast."

Jake rubs his cheek as he stands.

Jake: "(pissed) Alright alright!"

Jason wakes up from the yelling.

Jason: "(rubbing eyes) What's going on?!

Jason: "Where are we?"

Jake: "The Sanctuary of the dragon goddesses."

Jason: "Who're you?"

Jade: "He's the Jake kid I mentioned."

Jason: "Why are we on sacred ground?"

Jake: "Well, just wait for them to wake up, I am not a morning person. (in head) I just hope we can get along with him."

Jason feels the scale merged with his neck.

Jason: "(shocked) What?!"

Jade: "Calm down, you and Jake are in charge of breakfast."

Jason: "Alright."

The two find a large amount of different varieties of bacon, eggs, and other sorts of food in the back.

Jake: "(in head) Time to whip out my skills. (out loud) I'll get a fire going."

Jake uses his whip form to create plant material for fuel.

Jason: "How the hell did you do that?!"

Jake switches to gauntlet form and creates a bright flame.

Jake: "Like that."

Jason: "(in head) First Jade uses some counter ability, the scale is merged with my neck, and now this Jake is using a form changing weapon. I can't piece it together."

The two harmonize with the way they cook.

Jade: "(walking in) Need any help?"

Jason/ Jake: "(in sync) Nope."

Jade: "(in head) After this I'm searching for Jay."

Thirty minutes later...

Alicia: "(in a trance) What's that smell."

Jake: "Morning."

Jason: "(in head) Who the hell is her?"

Alicia turns to Jason.

Alicia: "You're Jason Velour. I'm Alicia."

Jason: "(in head) Why does she know me? I'm already questioning the fact that I'm sacred ground and the scale merged with my neck and now this?!"

Alicia: "Calm down Jason. I know you're confused on the inside."

Jason: "(calmly) I'm trying to focus on cooking. I'm just nervous about a slight screw up."

Alicia: "That's a bit rude."

Jason: "I've almost never got along with anyone and right now Jake and I are nearly done cooking."

Alicia: "Just what has he gone through?"

An hour later...

Jake: "(relieved) Finished."

Jason: "Looks like we made quite a bit."

Jake: "You'll see why."

Jason: "(puzzled) How so?'

Jake: "Just wait a bit."

Troy: "(yawning) What's cooking?"

Jason: "Food."

Troy: "You're awake."

Jason: "(in head) I hate being kept in the dark. Reminds me of that bastard."

Nova, Onyx, and Flare come out of their rooms.

Onyx: "It appears Ayleaus is quite the chef when it comes to smells."

Flare: "It appears Jason was also a huge factor."

Nova remains silent and stares at Jason.

Jason: "(in head) Why is she staring at me?"

Jake: "Trust me, we made plenty. (in head) I just hope we didn't fuck up."

Jason pats Jake's back.

Jason: "Lighten up."

Jake: "(in head) I hope so when this is over."

Everyone finishes an hour later...

Flare: "(astonished) Where did you two learn?"

Jason: "Self taught."

Jake: "My mom."

Nova: "(in head) Why did he teach himself?"

Onyx: "I can tell the relationship between you two now you're awake Jason."

Jason: "(puzzled) Why am I known here? I'm just a treasure hunter who ran away."

Nova: "I'm sorry Jason."

Jade: "We left this for you to explain Nova."

Nova: "(nervously) You see the resemblance don't you... my son."

Jason: "(shocked) What?"

Jake: "You're the heir to Nova. When that scale bonded to you we felt your energy mixed with Jade's. Alicia and I got over to you ASAP."

Jason: "Is this why he wouldn't tell me anything?!"

Nova: "Jonathan couldn't bring himself to tell you."

Jade: "I'm very sorry to break the moment, but I need to start my search for my friend."

Jason: "Then I entered my blood and lost control."

Alicia: "Right on the money."

Onyx: "The descendant of the Mind?"

Jason: "(crying) That bastard put me through hell to hide this?!"

Jason wipes away the tears.

Jason: "Guess when everyone mentioned my eyes were unique, it wasn't for a dumb reason."

Jade: "I'll head for Phiam."

Jake: "We'll split up and meet back here."

Jason: "I'll go with Jake."

Nova: "A-Are you sure?!"

Jason: "Just tell me how to switch between the two."

Nova: "A-All you need to do is touch the scale."

Jason does a test run and was successful.

Onyx: "You'll help them even if you barely know them?"

Jason: "I'm going to because I finally know the truth."

Alicia: "I'm sorry, but I can't follow your logic."

Jason: "My whole life has been a lie. Now I am standing within truth, and I'll help those who are like me."

Jake: "(in head) T-This will be interesting."

Jake grabs Jason's hand.

Jake: "I was kept from the truth until recently. You got my back?"

Jason: "This will be difficult..."

Jake: "Guess we're in the same boat."

Jade: "I guess I'll head to Phiam, you guys going for Nylsio?"

Jason: "It's good to plan ahead of time, and that should be fine."

Troy: "I need to get out more, so I'll help Jade!"

Alicia: "I'll go as well."

Flare: "Seems these two are affecting you three."

Jason: "The sooner we head out, the better."

Nova: "J-Just be careful."

The five split up upon walking out the front door.

Nova: "(in head) Don't die, any of you..."
