Chapter 1: Shattering Boundaries
Narrator: "Drakos. A land where the dragon and human races exist in harmony. Dragons offer strength while humans offer intelligence. Each race makes up for what the other lacks. The entire land has been controlled by the Makainian Empire for centuries. The whole land was taken over by a near invincible military originating in the city of Makna. Sixteen years ago the latest emperor rose to power."
Citizen 1: "It's time for him to take over."
Citizen 2: "I just hope Emperor Drake doesn't fuck up."
Narrator: "The Makna family was a dragon family that has had... questionable rulers."
Retainer: "I expect great things from you my lord."
Drake: "I'm not like my father nor his father."
In another part of Makna, inside a hospital.
Silver Haired Woman: "My time is nearly up."
Narrator: "However, both races believe in three dragon goddesses, with the ability to control supernovas, black holes, and solar flares within the palms of their hands, and around this time, they knew that they were running out of time. However, they had an unknown ability, to change into a humanoid form. While in this form, they cannot use their godly abilities. The ones who control black holes and solar flares already had their full blooded dragon heirs, but the one that controls supernovas, had fallen for a human, unknown to the others."
Man: "There he is."
Silver Haired Woman: "I need to go."
Man: "I know everything. Are you sure with leaving him with me? He is the-."
Silver Haired Woman: "I know, but I will acknowledge his human blood. I'll come for him when the time is right."
The woman gets up from the hospital bed and begins to leave.
Silver Haired Woman: "Goodbye, Jonathan Velour."
Jonathan picks up his son.
Jonathan: "(Crying) Nova."
Nova leaves Makna.
Jonathan: "Jason, I'll raise you the best I can."
Narrator: "Nine years later, Jason Velour has become a young boy clocking in at 5' 4" with silver hair and emerald green eyes. Jason has however grown to hate his father Jonathan for his neglect to talk about his mother, parental neglect, and even occasional abuse."
Jason: "I'm done with this BS."
Jason had an argument with his father about how Jonathon barely even looks at Jason and just wanted to spend time with his father.
Jonathan: "Jason!"
Jason had gone to his room to pack up a few items and grabbed what little savings you can get when you are nine.
Jason: "(angry) If you're not gonna be a dad, I'm just gonna grow up without one!"
Jason rushes out the front door and into the nearby forest.
Jonathan: "Jason..."
Jason runs for what feels like an eternity, then trips on a rock and falls down a small hill.
Jason: "(crying) My leg!"
Jason immediately stops crying.
Jason: "(smacking his face) I can't be a liar!"
Jason stands up.
Jason: "I need to find some shelter."
Jason stumbles for a bit to find a small cave.
Jason: "Now for a fire."
Jason grabs a small chunk of wood and a stick and rubs them together.
Jason: "Aaaaaaannnd..."
A small fire sparks from the wood.
Jason: "need to keep it going."
Jason grabs some nearby wood and adds more fuel to the fire.
Jason: "I can do this."
Narrator: "At this moment, Jason began to teach himself hunting, fishing, and scavenging. As Jason got older, he took up treasure hunting to pay for self defense weaponry, including a spear, knife, bow, but his favorite was retractable claws. We now fast forward to a sixteen year old Jason Velour with a beat up white tank top, cargo shorts, and sandals while keeping his hair in a ponytail."
Jason: "That takes care of that."
Jason had fashioned that cave into a small home, with a padded area to sleep and a small corner of the cave to place his weapons and small treasures for selling at some point, while the rest was mainly used for fires and food.
Jason: "I know where everything is."
Jason looks at his food supplies
Jason: "Guess I'm fishing today."
Jason begins to walk to his usual fishing spot by the river when he hears something.
Girlish Voice: "Huh?"
He then hears something snap.
Girl: "(screaming) Fuck!"
Silence...
Jason: "(freaked out) What the hell was that?!"
Jason rushes to the river.
Jason: "How the fuck?"
Jason finds a girl lying next to the river with one leg bent sideways.
Jason: "(puzzled) How the hell do you break your leg on a riverside?"
Jason notices the heavy artillery on her back.
Jason: "(puzzled) Who needs to carry around something this heavy?"
The girl is wearing a jade green T shirt, a dark blue skirt, and a ruby necklace.
Jason: "(questioning) Should I even bring her back to my place? I fucking hate people who fuck with my flow."
Jason looks at her one more time.
Jason: "As soon as she wakes up, we're going to town and I'll leave her at a hospital or something."
Jason picks up the girl.
Jason: "Lighter than I thought, even if she's carrying stuff like that around."
Jason carries the girl back to his cave.
