"No." My father repeated.

"Please! Please! Please! Please!" I whined.

"No." My dad said again.

"Why?!" I half screamed. "That's not fair! It's a long weekend!"

My dad scowled. "I think you have forgotten that you are grounded." He then turned to Kero. "You should get on your way. She is not coming."

"No!" I stomped my foot, crossed my arms and pouted like a big baby.

"Aathiray. I will not allow you to go there. Is that understood?" My dad asked, angrily.

My brother walked into the house right then. "What's going on?"

I ran to my brother. "Aathu! Please convince dad to let me go to Raakshya! Please! I really, really need to go."

My brother looked at me and then sighed. "Dad, to be honest, I think it's a good idea if she goes."

My dad looked at him. "Why is that?"

"Well... exercise... I mean, if Aathy goes there, she'll be doing a lot of exercise, running around and stuff."

My dad raised his eyebrow.

"Common dad, it's just three days. And she'll be fine, since Kero is going to take care of her." My brother looked at Kero who nodded. "Plus, that place is much better than here, right? I mean, Aathy's young, she should go get some actually fresh air sometimes." He said.

My dad sighed. "Always supporting your sister, aren't you?"

Aathavan smiled.

My dad shook his head. "Fine. But if you aren't back by Monday noon, you will never be allowed to go again. Understood?" He asked.

I smiled. "Yes!" I then jumped up and kissed Aathavan's cheek. "Thanks Aathu!" I said as I gave him a big hug. I then ran upstairs to pack some clothes and other stuff. I pulled out a tiny suitcase from my closet. It was my favourite red coloured suitcase that was decorated with loads of stickers and buttons that said things like "Team Jacob" and "Super Special Awesome," I had buttons with cute pictures on them too. I started to throw in enough clothes to last three days and realized that it had already gotten full. "I think I need a bigger suitcase." I said when Kero walked in.

Kero rolled his eyes. "No, I think you need to properly fold the clothes so that there can be more space." Kero said as he pulled out one of my t-shirts and started to fold it.

I smiled, sat on my bed and started folding too. When we were done, Kero left and I put some undergarments and toiletries into the suitcase. I then walked to Aathavan's room and picked up, Wonderland, one of my teddy bears, the one that was with me when I first met Kero.

Aathavan walked in right then and pulled one of his huge textbooks from his bookshelf.

"Thanks again Aathu... but can I ask why you really helped me?" I asked.

He smiled. "To be honest, I think it's safer for you to be with Kero."

"Oh." I smiled. "But thanks again."

He nodded. "Have fun... and are you seriously taking that with you?" He pointed at Wonderland.

I hugged her. "Of course I am."

My brother laughed. "Fine, whatever. Just... be safe and don't do anything stupid." He bent down and kissed my forehead. "I'm going to Kiran's house to study right now, so I'll see you later, okay?"

I nodded. "Bye! I'll see you later."

He smiled and left.

I fixed all of my other teddies so that they were sitting nicely on Aathu's bed and then walked back to my room. I put Wonderland in my suitcase and was about to close it, but then remembered that I should pack a book. I grabbed one of the books I took out of the library today and put it in. I then closed my suitcase.

I lifted it up and walked down the stairs. "I'm ready!" I said to Kero, who was speaking to Rebecca.

My dad looked at me. "You really want to get out of here, don't you?" He asked. He wasn't trying to be funny or anything, he was serious.

I smiled. "I'm just excited to see my Raakshyan friends again."

My dad sighed.

My mom then walked out of the kitchen and surprised me by handing me a big basket. "These are treats for your friends." She smiled. "There are sandwiches and a big bowl of fruit salad." She turned to Kero. "Your friends all eat meat, right dear?" She asked.

Kero nodded.

"Okay, good. The sandwiches have meat in them. And I made a couple, I hope it's enough. I cut them all in half, just in case there isn't enough."

I felt the heavy basket before Kero took it from me. "Mom, I'm sure that's more than enough." I smiled.

"Thank you." Kero said, smiling at my mom.

My mom nodded and kissed my forehead. "Stay safe dear, and do what Kero says. Don't wander off on your own and keep your cell phone with you."

I smiled. "My cell phone doesn't work there, but don't worry, I'll be careful."

"Remember to listen to Keroshan, alright dear?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yes mom!"

She smiled. "Have fun."

I grinned at her.

My dad walked to us right then. "Remember what I told you. You have to be back by noon on Monday. Understand?"

I nodded. "Don't worry dad."

I hugged my parents and then walked out the door. "Bye!" I said.

My parents waved.

I turned around and ran to Kero's side. "Oh yeah!" I said. "I have to tell my friends." I pulled out my cell phone and called each one of my friends and told them that I was going.

"Can you tell Tiana to send Chirpy?" Kero asked when I was dialing her number.

"Sure thing." I waited for her to pick up.

"Hey Aathy!" She said.

"Hey Tiana! I'm going to Raakshya for the long weekend, I told you earlier at school, right?" I asked.

"Yup! Have fun! Oh, and Chirpy already left, like, just now. He said to tell you and Kero to meet him at the fountain."

"Thanks Tiana." I said.

"No problem, and please, next time, take me too, okay?"

I grinned. "Sure! It would be awesome if you came along!" I

"Alright, have fun! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

When I closed my cell phone, I looked up at Kero and noticed that he looked strangely worried. "You okay?" I asked.

He looked at me and smiled. "Yes."

I then noticed that Rebecca was fairly quiet too. "Hey, Rebecca... are you going to stay at Kero's place?" I asked.

She shook her head. "Nope. I have my own home. Plus, my mom's probably waiting for me." She grinned.

"Oh, okay." I said.

When we arrived at the fountain, Chirpy was there. "Hey guys!" He smiled. He then looked at Rebecca. "I don't think we've met." He said, kindly.

Rebecca grinned. "Nope, we haven't, I'm Rebecca, you?"

"I'm Chirpy! Nice to meet you!" He smiled. He turned to Kero and I. "So, are we going home now?" He asked.

Kero nodded as he stepped into the fountain. The rest of us followed him in. I assumed that we were already invisible because no one was looking at us.

The loud unbearable screeching noise started and then everything went dark.
