That was so close. I was peacefully eating my food when mom's phone beeped signalling she received a message. It was from rumehsa Khala . She was my other aunt who lived in Delhi with her kids. She has 4 kids two girls and two boys . Girls are little younger and boys are twins and of my age. I opened it and it read we are coming over for eid . I instantly jumped at my seat. I quickly rang my cousin farhan his son for more info.
"Hey when are you guys coming over?"I said excitedly as he answered.
"We'll reach tomorrow by afternoon inshallah"
"Can't wait" I said as I ended the call. I laid down on my bed as I opened Facebook. I had got a msg from someone. Curiously i opened it and saw it was from Karan . Before I could see hamburger entered all dressed in glimmers suit. Sometimes they make you jealous. The people. According to them I don't dress one bit. "Who was it?" And I turned at the voice. vatsal.
"It was Harshita ?"I replied unsure.
"Then why does it sound like a question?"   He asked stepping closer.
"Vats I don't have energy for that. And you don't need to worry about me."I said before turning a to the bed. Vatsal roughly caught hold of my elbow making me turn abruptly and slamming into him. From the corner of my eyes , I saw hamburger watching us with her eyes bulging out. I pushed vatsal a little as he realised and stepped back.
"Ham- Aapi can u please go and check the food ?" She got up and headed out much to my relief. I look at him ,his eyes were bloodshot.
"What happened?" I asked him.
"Harshita broke up with me , mom is in the hospital , everyone is leaving me" he said as a tear dropped his eyes . I stared at him in confusion.
"What?why?" I asked him.
"Apparently as I was serving my mother she realised I don't have time for her so she broke up with me" he said hiding his face .
"Look up, hey listen you're not at fault okay? Harshita is a bitch and everyone knows that and if it's not meant to be it won't be.what did I tell you? It's dumb to cry for any girl. So stop and aunty will get fine I promise ."
"Will u leave me?" He asked.
"Never in million years so stop worrying about that "
"Promise?" He asked as he hugged me burying his face in the crook of my neck I patted his back.
"Don't worry I am here to annoy you for a long time" I said.

"Did you eat anything?" I asked him when we broke the hug.
"No but I just want to sleep I haven't slept" he answered as he made him comfortable
On my bed.
"Don't worry I'll stay with aunty tonight " I asked giving him a blanket.
"No it's not safe" he stated.
"Oh my god just sleep" I said as I patted his head and went out as I was closing the door I heard him mumble "love you Harshita " my heart ached at that. To see him broken because of my friend. I closed the door lightly as I made my way out. I stopped by the kitchen where mom and hamburger were making food.
" beta will he have food?" Mom asked .
"No ammi he slept mom, his mother is not really well and he is very tired so can I stay there for the night? In the hospital?" I asked.
"Beta it's not safe but u don't worry Talha will stay there" she said.
"Thank you " I said as I sat down to read books . After awhile I packed Talha Bhai some food and downloaded all the movies on the laptop so he could watch in the  hospital. When Bhai left I also went to sleep.  Vatsal was in my room and that meant I had to sleep in living room. I went in my room,got the blankets and headed out after checking vatsal. I made myself comfortable on the sofa as a notification popped on my iPad signalling I received a message on Facebook I checked it and it was

Smiling I slept. The one of the bad things of sleeping in the living room is everyone start to talk on your head. Frustrated I picked up my blanket and went in my room to sleep. Since I bwon't sleep on bed  I made myself comfortable on the floor and soon drifted to sleep.i woke again by someone hitting me on my head. I groaned as I opened my eyes. M
"What do you want vatsal?"
"School"

"SCHOOL MADAM SCHOOL!!!!"
After few minutes realisation hit me.
"oh shitt!!!! Get my bag ready"I said as I took my dress and dashed towards bathroom. After few minutes when I came out vatsal was there with my iPad  . I dint have time for that so I quickly made a ponytail and ran down the room. As vatsal followed me. While the ride to bus he asked me.
"Nomani , mutton biryani or chicken biryani?" He asked staring at me.
I was about to reply when it stuck me. Holy crow!! He read my messages .
"Hmmm?"
"Don't worry I won't do anything your boyfriend is safe . You've done what every one does."
Before I could reply the school came and he dashed outside as I followed him.
"Vats it's not like that . I was just talking to him. " I stated running after him just then to add spice to the whole drama Karan came in front of me making me stop abruptly.
"I wanted to talk to you" he said confused at my current state. Much to my horror vatsal turned to glare at me.
He then stormed inside without another word.
"Couldn't you have came some other time " I said as I pushed him and ran inside in hope to find vatsal.
