Chapter-9

-The Monster

Anna's POV

I came out of the bathroom and changed into a pair of tight jeans and a t-shirt. I came out and went down stairs. Jane is making breakfast. I sat on a stool near the dining table and put my head on my palm, resting my elbow on the table. I smiled at her.

"Good morning dear", she greeted with her kind smile.

"Good morning Jane. What are you making?".

"Bread and nutella", she said while taking a fork full of nutella and applying it on the bread.

"Oh. Uh... Where is Bane? I didn't see him after I woke up".

"He is in the pack meeting".

"Pack meeting?", I asked her surprised. Though I am here for about three weeks, he didn't announce me as the Luna of his pack. The thing is not about announcing me as Luna. The thing is, does he want me to be the Luna of his pack or does he think I am too weak? Also he never speak to me about pack things. I don't know why. Doesn't he trust me?

"Yeah. It is about to end anyways".

"Where is it being held?".

"It will be held in the pack house. Just a few minutes away from here", she informed.

"Oh. Can I go there?".

"I don't know. Bane didn't say anything. Ask him once, before you go there. I am sure he will be happy to have you there", she said smiling.

"Okay. I will go then".

"Wait dear! Eat some breakfast first before you leave".

"No. I don't feel hungry. I will eat once I come back", I said and stood up. I came out of the house and was about to descend the steps, when one of the bodyguards stopped me.

"Luna. Where are you going?", he asked me looking down. No male is the pack is supposed to meet my eyes or even look at my face while talking with me. That's Bane's stupid decision!

"I want to go to the pack house for the pack meeting".

"I am sorry to ask this Luna, but did you ask Alpha's permission to go there?".

"Um... No".

"I am sorry Luna. Then you are not allowed to go there", he said still looking down.

"Urrgh... What if I have his permission?".

"I will drop you there myself Luna".

"Okay. Wait a minute then", I said and went inside.

I tried to mind link him, but he blocked everyone. I can feel it. I tried hard again, but the same. I want to go there! I turned towards the guard.

"He gave me permission",I lied.

"Okay Luna. Let's go. I will drop you there", he said and led the way for me. I followed him. There is also another body guard that's taking me there. He is coming behind me. I rolled my eyes.

Soon we reached there. The pack house is so big. I has five floors and there are many flats. It's like a colony. Exactly how many members are there in his pack?! What a Luna I am, I don't even know the number of werewolves that are in the pack?!

"Luna, this way", the guard that led the way said.

"Yeah", I went along with them. The people there are looking at me like they are seeing a new person. Of course they don't know who I am! Bane never let me out.

"Luna, please wait here", he said and went inside to talk with someone. The other guard is beside me. I looked around and feel a little dread. The whole place is very closed and secured. There is no chance for an unknown person to enter. There are guards through out the entire hall. They are all looking ahead.

I kept looking around when the guard came back.

"Luna, Alpha is in the pack room. You can go", he said and I walked down the hall. The guards were about to follow.

"No! I want to go alone. There are guards in the whole hallway, right?", I said trying to stop them from coming along with me. They should not know that I lied to them.

"Okay Luna", the first guard said with a serious expression, they gave me a nod and just stood there.

I nod to them and went inside. There is no one, but one man who is cleaning the bug wooden table. He looked up and saw me.

"What can I do for you mam?".

"I... Uh... I want to meet Alpha. They said he is in the Pack Meeting. Isn't this the room where they all meet. I mean the important men?".

"Yes, it is. But they just went inside the dungeons to talk with some rogue", he explained.

"Oh. Where are dungeons?".

"I will show you, but who are you? How did you come inside?".

"I am Anna", I said while extending my hand for him to shake. His eyes widened.

"Luna. I am sorry for questioning you", he said while putting his head down and I retracted my hand back.

"No! It's okay. You are just doing your duty. Um... Can you show me where the dungeons are?".

"But Alpha said to not let anyone disturb him. I mean it's not that you will disturb him. Did Alpha give you permission?".

"Yeah, he said I can come anytime I want", I lied again.

You liar! My wolf smirked.

Just shut up!

"This way Luna", he said while waving his hand to the door in the room. From the door there is another hallway which is fully secured.

"Are we there yet?", I asked him becoming impatient every minute.

"Yes Luna. This door leads to the dungeons. There is a ground way", he said while opening a door. I saw that there are stairs that led down.

"Thank you", I said and went inside. He closed the door and I felt nauceous inside. I took step-by-step slowly on the metal stair case. I feel something... something in my gut that says it's not right to go down there.

I keep on going. It's so dark inside. I walked for a minute or two when I hear someone talking and then I hear someone shouting in pain. I went the direction from where the sound came. I stood outside near a glass window. The window is so big. It's like the glass in the movies where the police interrogates a person and they can see the person through the glass.

I saw clearly that there are five to six muscular men. One person is sitting in a chair. He is tied to the chair. Some wires are connected to his brain and his chest. He has blood stains on his face and body. The person in the chair is only wearing pants. He looked exhausted. He is breathing heavily.

In front of him stood the men. I can't see then clearly, so I changed my direction and saw that there are Beta, Gamma and the other two people whom I never saw. The person that stood in front of the person in the chair is Bane. He have a deathliest look on his face. He is so serious. His eyebrows came together with anger and his eyes are dark green.

"Tell me Carl. This is the last time I am asking you! Tell us what is your plan!", Bane shouted angrily. I gulped a little, getting scared due to his tone. The man in the chair laughed.

"You think I will tell you?! I won't! Do whatever you want!", he shouted back and Bane nodded at someone in the corner. The person hit a switch and the man in the chair started shaking. Now I understood. They are torturing the man. I can't bear this. I can't see anyone in pain.

The man is shaking vigorously and I cringed back in pain. After a while they stopped and Bane punched his cheek. The man oozed blood out, but smiled evilly at Bane.

"What do you think Alpha Beast? I will never tell, no matter how much you torture men!".

Then men in the room balled their fists. Bane just stood there looking at him angrily.

They put the current shock again and the man, Carl, is shaking more this time, while shouting in pain.

Stop! Please stop! Someone stop it! Please!

I want to shout but I can't find my voice. They stopped after five minutes.

"Now tell me Carl! You already made me angry so much!", Bane shouted.

"Cool Alpha Beast! Store some anger. Cause when my Alpha comes and take your mate away, when he tortures your mate, when he rapes your mate, when he kills your pack, you will need some anger then. So, yo-", before he can say anything a black wolf pounced on him, killing him instantly with his claws.

The wolf didn't stop there. I jumped on him again and tore him limb to limb. It tore his skin away, peeling all the way down. The flesh of the man can be seen. I closed my eyes not wanting to see it anymore. The more I see, the more dread it caused. The black wolf is none other than Bane.

His Beta and Gamma tried to stop him, but he cannot be tamed that easily from his anger. He looked like a monster.

He is a monster!

I back up myself against the wall. The wolf is growling loudly in anger. Those growls send shivers down my spine. I just stood there looking at him. Suddenly the wolf growled like a roaring lion and everyone bend down on their knees, with their hands back and their heads hung low.

Then he turned his head to my side and our eyes met. I got scared a little because he is angry. He growled lowly and came out through the door. He walked towards me. I pressed myself more into the wall. His look is predatory.

He stood in front of me. His wolf is more in height than me. I looked up at him. I begged him with my eyes to not harm me. He growled lowly again and put his head in my neck. I just turned my head aside to let him do it. I felt the need to calm him down. I slowly came out of my fearful state and put my hands in his fur. I hear his wolf hum and stroked his fur.

After a while, he shifted into his human form, but is still hugging me. He had his head still in my neck. He placed a kiss there. The fact that he is completely naked aroused me a little and I blushed, cause everyone is looking at us. Soon they all left giving us the privacy we needed. He moved away from my neck and looked into my eyes. I looked into his, but like always his eyes showed no emotion.

"How did you come in here?", he asked in his deep sexy voice that sent chills down my spine.
