It was ten o'clock at night and Loki was nowhere to be seen. I bought him a cellphone at the beginning of our friendship and taught him how to use it. Now that we are dating, it seems like he is choosing not to use it. I sighed softly as my mind began to wonder.

I laid down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. My mind began to paint a picture. Loki was out on a date with a girl and they were actually having a good time. They were at a nice, expensive restaurant in the good part in town. There was live entertainment and the music was lovely. The atmosphere was nice and everyone was having a good time. Loki had a smile plastered on his face as he sat across from the unidentified female. He held and kissed her hand and they talked about what their goals and life were.

I looked away from the ceiling quickly and started to catch my breath. I didn't notice that my breathing was getting heavy at first. Heavy in frustration.

I looked at my phone and waited for replies. One minute, two minutes, five, ten, fifteen, thirty, one hour. No reply from him. I decided to call him- Straight to voicemail.

"I don't want to do this." I mumbled to myself as I was about to use my powers to spy on him. As soon as my eyes' natural color slowly faded into white, I heard the door burst open.

Loki walked in with a dog in his hand. I rose a brow and quickly rushed over to him. I had so many questions, but where to begin?

"Loki.." I sighed then looked at the dog who barked at me. My mind suddenly turned to mush as I adored the dog's sweet, little, precious face! I go and pick up the dog and I started playing with it's little paws as I saw on the couch.

I look up and I notice Loki was gone. "You used the dog to distract me!"

"Yup." Loki said as he walked back in, he had nothing on but a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Do you not know what time it is?" I asked him and crossed my arms as I stood in front of him.

He looked over my shoulder and looked at the microwave and stove's time. "11:16pm." He recited and looked at me, "What's your point, dear?"

"My point is that you just suddenly left and I called and called and called and called. You didn't answer and my brain was starting to wonder. Did you cheat on me?" I asked him. My voice broke towards the end of the question.

"No." Loki said and picked up the dog and pet it's head then put it down. "If I were going to cheat on you, I would just tell you." He smirked like an asshole and walked off.
