*Chapter Two*

"I'm gonna murder him" Alvina growls under her breath as she walks to the Salvatore Boarding house. "I'm going to find the sharpest, no wait, the dullest piece of wood I can find and slowly push it into his chest and through his heart. I'll do that right after I destroy his precious Camaro right in front of him." Alvina grumbled murderously.
Once she felt like she was a good distance away from the town, she turns off the road and walks into the woods. She comes to a stop when she can't see the road or anything other than trees and wildlife.
She smiles and closes her eyes. She leans her head back, soaking in the sun. She listens to the tree leaves brushing against each other. She hears the birds chirping in the air. She can sense everything.
The trees, the whisper to her. They let her know she is alone, that she is safe. Her eyes open and the blue color is far more vibrate than usual. She takes off her backpack as a deer walks up to her. She smiles and holds her hand out.
"Hello" She greets. The doe bows to her before pushing its head against her hand. "I have a favor to ask" She whispers to it. "Can you take this bag to the house in the middle of the wood? Leave it on the front door" Alvina gently pushes images into the doe's mind so that the deer knows exactly where to go and what to do.
The doe simply takes the back in her mouth, turns around and hops away. Alvina smiles and spins around. She takes everything in. She loves the woods. The amount of life, of magic coursing through the air and ground and in every living thing, is electrifying.
She takes three complete spins. With each spin, her transformation occurs. The first spin transforms her jeans and T-shirt into a Tinkerbell like dress. The second spin amplifies her magic and her connection to nature. The third spin brings out her wings.

Fairy's used to prosper throughout the world. However, that changed over two thousand years ago. Before vampires, there were werewolves, humans, and witches. Fairies were the only ones who didn't hide from the humans. At first, there was peace and then there was not. In the end, Fairy's had to go into hiding. The majority hide in undiscovered lands, far from the humans.
Fairies are more connected to nature than witches would ever be. They can literally hear mother nature speaking to them through the trees and flowers, through the animals both big and small. They also have the power of the elements as the elements are apart of nature itself. Their magic is of the purest form and can heal every living thing. Even their blood can heal vampires.
A fairy's blood is so alluring, so tasty and satisfying to the vampires that the fairies almost went extinct. However, there's a cost to draining a Fairy dry. A fairy's blood can sustain a vampire for months. Their blood can give the vampire unimaginable strength and speed. But when the blood runs out the hunger is far worse than one can imagine, it may never be satisfied again and they lose themselves in their blood lust.
Fairies can be the most peaceful, loyal and protective creatures on the planet. They can also be the most fierce, anger-driven, powerful creatures you ever come across. Their proud creatures, easily angered. Their powerful too, more powerful than werewolves, witches and vampires. One does not trifle with them without knowing what they're doing.
Their most useful ability is their ability to change their size. They can go from their life-size form to pocket-size within a heartbeat. The smaller they are, the faster they fly, harder to catch.
Alvina doesn't get very many chances to turn into her fairy form. She usually has the opportunity to change while indoors but being indoors is not where a fairy is meant to be. However, being a fairy in the open as she is is very dangerous but she's always been one to take risks.
Once in her form, she shrinks. From her feet to the top of her head, she's as tall as the length from your wrist to the tip of the pointer finger.
She smirks as her wings hum behind her. She zooms through the forest. To a human eye, she would seem like a rather strange bird. They would only get once glance at her before she's out of sight.
She flies low to the ground, where the flowers are. She grins widely as she speeds around them. It felt good to stretch her wings. In her human form, she's connected to nature but now it's on an entirely new level and she loves it.
She can feel her anger towards Damon dissipating, for the time being. She didn't want to focus on him right now, she just wanted to be one with nature.
She didn't have any destination in mind but before she knows it she's at the edge of the woods. Her eyes widen at her carelessness. She zooms up in a tree, taking cover within the branches and leaves.
She's thankful the people in town are ignorant of the supernatural. She didn't want to deal with somebody trying to come after her because she slipped up. She's normally more careful than this which makes her wonder what her subconscious was thinking.
She searches the area in front of the woods from her spot. She looks for anything that could have drawn her here. Everything seemed normal. People were just going about their days. Nothing out of the ordinary.
She was about to leave when her eyes find him. He's very handsome and tall. She jumps off the branch and flies along the edge of the forest, following him from a distance. He seemed upset which, for some reason, made her upset as well.
She wanted to know him. She wanted to know everything about him. But most importantly, she wanted to touch him. Just a simple touch. Maybe a brush of the hands, it would be enough to know if he's who she thinks he is.
"Alvina, I need to talk to you" Alvina comes to a stop on another tree's branch. Her head turns in the direction towards the Salvatore Boarding House. She knew the voice is Stefan's and normally would go meet him without hesitation. However, she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay with him. "It's about Damon" Fire ignites inside of her at his name. She imagines the hell she's going to put him through for not picking her up at school.
"Fine, I'm coming" She replies before flying towards the Boarding House where Stefan is waiting for her on the front lawn. She flies up to him and spins through times. She stumbles onto the ground in human form wearing jeans and a T-shirt with no wings. Stefan quickly moves towards her to help her catch her balance. "I'm a little rusty on the landing" She shrugs. "So, what's up?"
"Where's my brother?" He asked.
"Around here somewhere I presume," She said walking around him. She goes towards the front door. Stefan turns and follows her.
"I know you two came here together, so, what are you up too?" He asked her. She rolls her eyes at his question.
"You know, your brother is the diabolical one, not me. I just follow the moron around to make sure he doesn't get himself killed. I'm being honest with you Steffie, I just want an education" She shrugs.
"Well sorry if I don't believe you. You've graduated three different times and you hate school." He said shoving his hands into his pockets. "Which means you going to school isn't as innocent as you say it is" She gives him a playful wink as she picks up the bag the doe had dropped off.
"As I said, your brother is the diabolical one. However, if you do find him would you let me know? I've got an issue I'd like to bring up" She says walking inside the house with Stefan. "I'm assuming my room is still available"
"Yeah" Stefan mutters. She grins and skips towards the steps. She jogs up to them and into her room.
"Just like I left it" She mutters to herself. She tosses her back to the side and kicks her door shut. She then pulls out her phone and calls Damon. She's not surprised when he doesn't answer. "Hey, Dames, just wanted to make sure you're alright. I figured you must be dead or dying because why else wouldn't you pick me up from school?" She lets out a mischievous chuckle. "Give your favorite half-breed a call before she really loses her temper, toodles," She says before hanging up.
She lays back on her back and stares at the ceiling. She thinks about the boy she saw. He has yet to leave her mind. She lifts her right wrist in front of her face and moves her wrist band.
Alvina has the pleasure of having four mates. Four sets of initials, four men to find. She's been around for a long time and has yet to find any of them. To say she's a little disheartened is an understatement.
Her eyes instinctively go to the initials J.G. It has to be him. Alvina is almost positive. She raises her left hand and uses her pointer finger to trace the J and then the G. Images swirl through her mind and a smile appears on her face.
"Found you" She whispers positively. She recovers her marks and climbs off the bed. She hops over to the window and opens it up. She spins three times before flying outside and towards where her instincts lead her.
She hesitates before leaving the forest. She knows it's a risk. Anybody would kill to find a fairy, she would just have to be careful to not get caught.
She flies up to the house and rests on a windowsill. She knows it's not much cover but she has to see him. She grins from ear to ear when he comes into view. She flies off of the sill and back a few feet, into the darkness of the night. She can see him perfectly yet he can't see her.
"I can't wait to meet you" She whispers. She licks her lips as she watches him take his shirt up. She hums in approval before flying away excited to scout him out tomorrow and meet him officially.
