chapter 5

Red Tail's eyes widened in surprise. "You had my father's ring?" he asked, still trying to process the revelation. The tension between them dissipated, replaced by a sense of intimacy and connection.
As they drew closer, their bodies entwined, and the world around them melted away. Soft whispers and gentle caresses filled the air, punctuated by the occasional soft moan. Red Tail's smile grew as he lost himself in the moment, his earlier pain forgotten in the joy of being with her.
Time lost all meaning as they moved in perfect harmony, their love and connection growing stronger with each passing moment. Eventually, they slowed, their breathing steady, and their hearts still racing. As they gazed into each other's eyes, the connection between them was palpable.
As they caught their breath, Red Tail gently brushed a strand of hair behind Crystal Green's ear, his fingers tracing the curve of her cheek. She smiled, her eyes sparkling with happiness, and leaned into his touch.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of their beating hearts.
Red Tail's smile faltered for a moment, his expression turning serious. "I've missed you too," he said, his voice low and husky. "More than you'll ever know."
Crystal Green's eyes locked onto his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, the connection between them crackling with electricity.
As the silence stretched out, Red Tail finally broke it, his voice gentle. "Tell me more about my father's ring. How did you end up with it?"
Crystal Green's expression softened, and she leaned in closer to Red Tail. "I'll tell you everything," she promised, her voice filled with a sense of longing. "But first, let's just enjoy this moment, okay?”
Red Tail nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. They lay there in comfortable silence, the only sound of the gentle rise and fall of their chests. After a while, Crystal Green broke the silence, her voice soft and melodic.
"Let's get cleaned up and talk about the ring," she suggested, her fingers tracing the contours of his chest.
Red Tail agreed, and they reluctantly parted, getting dressed and heading to the bathroom to freshen up. The warm water and gentle soap seemed to wash away the tension, leaving them feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
As they sat down on the couch, Crystal Green took a deep breath and began to explain how she had come into possession of the ring. Red Tail listened intently, his eyes locked onto hers, as she told him the story.
Her words painted a vivid picture, and Red Tail's expression changed from curiosity to surprise, and finally, to understanding. When she finished, he took her hand in his, his fingers intertwining with hers.
"Thank you for telling me," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I think I understand now."
Crystal Green smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. "I'm glad," she said, squeezing his hand gently. "Now, let's talk about what comes next.”
