Hi there! My name is Laura Greene. I am 24 years old and I come from a long line of werewolves. My father wants me to marry the alpha from the northern pack but I said no.  Of course he didn't listen and that's when I ran away. So now here I am in North Carolina trying to stay out of sight. It has been months now since I left the pack. I started to get into archery to help me hunt so I won't have to shift into my wolf form. As of right now no one has found me, or so I thought. Until one day I was walking home from work and caught the scent of another wolf but this scent was unfamiliar. 

The only thing I could do was stand my ground. "You're a long way from home, little wolf," the voice said in a snarling tone.  "You are trespassing, little one," the wolf snarled as he started to come out from the bushes. Once I saw him I didn't know what to do that wouldn't draw attention to herself and give her secret away. So I did the only thing I  could think of and that was just to stand still hoping I wouldn't have to use my knife on my right side hip to kill this beta. "I should take you to my alpha and let him deal with you but instead I am just going to kill you where you stand," the wolf said as he took out his claws and got ready to swing but I was quicker than him. I took out my knife and stabbed him in his shoulder. "Wanna try that again, beta?" I questioned. I had let the beta jump at me, grabbing the extended clawed hand and snapping it, before using gripping the other wrist to fling him into a tree.

Once the wolf was down I went up to him grabbed him by his shirt and got into his face, "Who sent you?" I questioned him. "My alpha sensed that there was a new wolf in the area so he sent me here to find out and it turned out to be you," the wolf replied. Once I heard enough, I threw him off to the side, "Go on!" I  said as I gestured for him to leave. "And tell your alpha to send his best." Little did I know that the alpha I spoke of, was lurking within the shadows.
