2: Discussions Galore
Instead of sitting in his usual position with his legs up on the desk, Bakugou opted for getting whatever sleep possible on the desk instead. He was even early so the rest of the class wouldn't annoy the shit out of him. Of course, his blissful power nap had to be ruined.
There's always a before and after when it comes to getting to class early. You see, before the majority barge in, all those who are there are the quiet ones that mind their business give or take a few small conversations that lead no where. After the majority gets into room, it becomes like a damn zoo.
Bakugou tried his best to scramble for more sleep, keeping his head down and hoping all would ignore him. Much to absolutely no one's surprise over half the crowd flocked to him like birds having found food to pick on.
"Bakugou, is it true?" Was the first thing he heard. He stayed still hoping one of them would elaborate because he wasn't at all sure what the hell the question was about.
"Of course it's true, I saw it with my own eyes." It was at that particular voice that Bakugou lifted his head. He looked at Mina with a cold stare.
"What did you see exactly?"
"You and Uraraka on the couch last night, of course." This information didn't surprise him at all.
"Right, I forgot you missed the part where she told me to get fucked and where I called her disgusting."
"To be fair," Kirishima started. "you do have an odd way of showing affection."
"Yeah and it's weird that you're so tired."
"It's weird that you're such an idiot." Bakugou leaned back into his chair with a sigh. "I'm tired because I spent the entire night doing shitty homework."
"Is that why you were downstairs?"
"I went downstairs for a snack."
"Did that snack just so happen to be Uraraka?"
"I hate you all." He was growing sick of this interrogation. "If you want your questions answered, ask her. I'm sure she'll be very willing to complain about me."
"Why do you say that?"
"Bakugou Katsuki, you owe me a new cereal box!" The whole crowd turned to look at Uraraka having barely walked in. She looked positively furious. Which really isn't something to fear. It's closer to a pout of a small child. She walked closer, the crowd moving to let her get to Bakugou. "I absolutely can't believe you ate the rest of the box."
"I was hungry."
"So you didn't eat anything else in the kitchen?"
"I wanted something with sugar."
"This is actually adorable!" Mina squealed causing the two to look at her. "You two fight like an old married couple."
"Oh no, its started." Uraraka muttered.
"Everyone get in your seats?" Aizawa interrupted.
~
"This is absolutely your fault." Bakugou stated, leaning on the wall in Uraraka's room. He was relieved that she grew a brain and texted him to come to her room after class to discuss the plan to get away from everyone. It grew a little suspicion when he made his way to the room but no one seemed to really put much thought in his direction. They were more questioning where he was going.
"Excuse me, but how was I supposed to know that Mina was going to walk in on us." Uraraka's sat at her desk, arms crossed.
"That makes it sound like we were doing something provocative."
"But we weren't."
"So, what the fuck do you want to do, hm? Tell them what we were really doing?"
"Well, yeah." She shrugged.
"They won't believe us."
"How can you be sure?"
"Rumors spread fast."
"Then what do you suggest we do?"
"Hell if I know, I could give less of a shit about things like this." Bakugou shrugged.
"But you're here, discussing it."
"Because it's annoying."
"You're ridiculous."
A knock on the door echoed through the room and the two went silent. Uraraka cautiously stood and walked over to the door. She gave Bakugou a quick glance. He held his hand out to which she lightly palmed. Instantly, he defied gravity and went to the ceiling. He stayed with his arms crossed and a bitter pout. Uraraka turned back to the door and opened it.
To her surprise it was Todoroki standing there.
"Oh, hey." She greeted nervously.
"I heard the rumors and came as soon as possible." Todoroki responded with, ignoring her greeting completely. Which was relieving.
"I'm guessing you want to know if they're true or not."
"Mhm." He hummed with a nod.
"They're not." Uraraka relaxed and leaned into the doorway.
"Then what were you two actually doing."
"Fighting over cereal."
"You're kidding."
"I wish I was."
"Then how'd you end up on the couch?"
"I was just chasing him."
"That's still suspicious."
She gasped, "You wound me."
"I'm just saying it how I see it." Todoroki shrugged.
"And how you see it is dumb."
"You say that a lot."
"Because you're constantly freaking out about everything."
"I guess that's fair." Todoroki smiled.
"Is that's all?"
"Yep." He nodded. "I'll be back at our usual time later, alright?"
"Okay, now go, you have better things to do."
"Later." With that, he turned and walked off.
Uraraka shut the door with a sigh.
"Usual time?" She near jumped at the sudden voice. She looked up and found Bakugou boring into her with a curious stare. Well, it was harsh glare but she could see the glint of curiosity.
"I don't get involved in your business and you don't get involved in mine."
"Fair enough."
"Anyway, do you believe me when I said that they would believe the truth?"
"No, I don't."
"Why?"
"Because half and half said it perfectly." Bakugou pushed himself against the wall and slid across the ceiling. "It's suspicious."
"So, what you're saying is that we're fucked?"
"Absolutely."
"Then what do we do?"
"Ignore it until it goes away."
"That's literally impossible."
"Not if they think we hate each other."
