Natawa siya sa isip niya dahil hindi niya akalaing nagkamali sila ng hinuha. Hindi si Master Cros Alina ang gumaw ng portal. They actually don't know who made it. It was made by an unknown source of energy.

True, the portal consumed their energy to be completely made. The portal's energy radar reaches them up until here in the academy. That was the reason why they suddenly lose control of themselves.

Katulad nalang ng nangyari sa kaniya isang araw. She was on her training room, then suddenly everything was frozen. Kahit ang sarili niya ay naging frozen. It was like time stopped.

That was when Master Cros Alina entered the scene. Using some spell, he stopped the force of the portal. Dinala n'ya agad si Krystal sa Aeria dahil doon ang pinaka-safe na lugar sa loob ng Aerilon Academy. It had a barrier na bukod pa sa mismong barrier ng buong academy.

"What happened, Master?" tanong ni Krystal. She was a little scared because of what happened to herself.

"B-bakit po bigla nalang akong nawawalan ng kontrol sa sarili ko?"

Cros Alina sighed deeply, "Lumalakas na ang portal."

"Po? Portal?" takang tanong muli ni Krystal. She was aware of what a portal is, of course. Pero hindi niya alam kung anong kinalaman ng portal sa sarili niyang kapangyarihan.

Cros Alina explained while his eyes were closed, "Portals are ways of traveling to another world. There are other realms besides Aerilon. At mukhang may gustong makapasok sa realm natin. The source of the portal's magic is unknown, kaya maaaring sa ibang mundo nanggaling 'yon."

"Bago makumpleto ang paggawa ng isang portal sa mundo natin, kinakailangan muna nitong mag-absorb ng magic energy mula sa inyong mga full elementals. That was why you felt some force consuming your element."

"Unfortunately, the only one to completely stop the creation of a portal is the Anika bloodline. May kakayahan sila na kontrolin ang apat na elemento, ibig sabihin, kailangan lang nilang idesperse ang energy substance ng portal."

"P-pero wala na pong natitirang Anika bloodline, hindi ba?" sambit ni Krystal.

Tumango naman si Cros, "Yes. Wala na nga. Kaya naghahanap ako ng paraan ngayon kung ano ang maaaring gawin. Someone might be able to destroy it. I'm looking over one person, actually."

Kumurap-kurap si Krystal, "Sino po?"

Cros Alina smirked, "You bestfriend, Lucianna Sariel Rofocale."

"Huh?!" gulat na reaksyon ni Krsytal, "Bakit po siya? Normal lang naman siya, hindi ba? She's not even an elemental, Master."

"She's not, Krystal. Your bestfriend came from another world like her mother, Sinclair. One of the powers of Luel is destruction, at maaring siya ang makasira sa portal na nagpapahamak sa buhay niya. Pero una, kailangan ko muna kayong i-gather para hindi maconsume ng portal ang enerhiya niya."

Tumango naman si Krystal habang dahan-dahang ipino-proseso sa utak niya ang mga sinabi ni Master Cros.

She was the first among the six to have felt the portal's force. Iyon ay dahil sub-elemental lang ang kaniya, which is ice. Sunod namang nakaramdam si Avarice at Elara. Then Hanie.

For now, sigurado siyang naramdaman na nila Alcaeus at Arenspade ang enerhiya. Kaya kinailangan talaga na makapunta sila rito sa Aeira, but sadly, they did not oblige.

"Alcaeus, Arenspade, and Hanie is nowhere to be found," napatingala naman silang lahat kay Yuri na sakay ngayon sa kaniyang black phoenix. Galing na siya sa academy castle para tingnan sina Alcaeus at Arenspade.

Naglaho ang sphinx niya, kaya't tumalon naman siya, at smooth na nagland sa Aeria.

He shot Luel a death glare, "Master Helaena died. May mga kalmot siya. She looked like she was tortured by sphinxs. Malamang sphinx 'yon nong tatlo."

Cros Alina exhaled sharply, and mentally cursed. Ito ang pinakakinatatakutan niya sa lahat ng maaaring mangyayari. Ang iba naman ay bayolente ring nag-react. Halos nanigas si Oreon sa tayo niya. Hanie's sphinx killed her own mother?

"This is the consequence of your decision, Luel," marahas na wika ni Yuri kay Luel.

"Calm down, Yuri," wika ni Avarice. Yuri almost rolled his eyes at Luel, but he just turned his attention to other things. Naiinis siya kay Luel dahil nagmamagaling, talagang pinaghinalaan pa si Master Cros!

Ang palabirong si Zian, ay hindi na magawang magbiro. Bigla niyang hinawakan nang mahigpit ang kakambal niya. Takot na baka kung ano rin ang mangyari rito.

"K-kuya, aray," sabi ni Zia nang masaktan sa hawak ni Zian.

Mataray naman siyang tiningnan ni Zian, "Okay lang. Ako lang dapat nananakit sa'yo." The eff! Isip ni Zia.

Cros Alina massaged the bridge of his nose. He licked his lips before heaving a dramatic sigh. He cursed loudly at narinig 'yon ng lahat.

General Alistair Berseker had his jaw clenched, "Ano na ang plano, Cros?"

Mariing pumikit si Cros, "We will risk one person."

"What?" tanong ni Zacharias. "Bakit naman kailangan mag-risk ng isang tao? Anong ibig niyong sabihin."

Cros sharply gazed at Luel, "Ikaw, Luel. We need to risk you. Try to destroy the portal with your powers."

Akmang magsasalita si Zach at magrereklamo pero mabilis namang sumagot si Luel.

"Okay," she answered like it was nothing at all.

Like it would not risk her life.

Nakarating sila sa isang forest sa Qidian. The portal was located here, and Luel felt the strong energy. Kasama rin nila ang iba except the pure elementals.

Tutol si Zacharias sa gustong gawin ni Cros Alina, pero wala na siyang magagawa dahil wala siyang karapatan na kuwestiyunin ang desisyon ni Master Cros at ni Luel. They both agreed to do so.

"All I need to do is destroy it, right?" Tanong ni Luel kay Cros Alina. She received a nod, and she gulped.

Hindi niya inexpect na sa unang taon niya sa academy, heto na agad ang mararanasan niya. She was only sixteen, but yeah, maybe age doesn't matter. She obliged without hesitations because maybe... for her, when she succeeds, she'll finally feel that she belongs to Aerilon.

Zach put an arm over his eye when he saw a blinding light a far. Is that the portal?

"Mas lumakas na ang portal, malamang ay dahil ng tatlong elementals," sabi ni Cros Alina. He looked around and squinted his eyes to search for the three pure elementals.

Luel sighed deeply, and bravely walked towards the source of the bright light, the portal. Her vampire eyes adjusted to the light, and when she finally saw things better, she gasped.

Nakita niya si Alcaeus, Arenspade, at Hanie na nakalutang sa paligid ng portal. May green dusts na pumalibot kay Alcaeus, kay Arenspade, blue, at kay Hanie ay red. Are the dusts their power?

Napatingin naman siya bigla nang may umalulong. Her ears were filled with a lion's roar, and a wolf and gumiho's howl.

Napalunok siya, at nakitang napalibutan siya ng talong sphinx.

"Luel!" Sigaw ni Zach. Tumalipon ang tatlong sphinx dahil ng lakas ng fire spears na ginawa ni Zach. A wildfire immediately started.

Zian travelled through air, hinarap niya ang gumiho ni Arenspade. Sumunod naman si Zia sa kaniya. Habang si Zeonn ay pumunta kau Zach, na kaharap ngayon ang leon ni Alcaeus, the strongest sphinx. Oreon went to the wolf.

In an instant, all their sphinxs were called. There was now a battle between sphinxs.

Cros warned, "Huwag niyong papatayin ang sphinxs nila. Tandaan niyo."

"Yes, Master!"

Luel looked at the portal once more. Tumingin siya kina Alcaeus, and guilt crept in her heart. Kung hindi ko lang sana pinaghinalaan si Master Cros, wala kayo rito.

"Grab the opportunity to destroy the portal while the sphinxs are busy fighting," wika ni Master Cros.

Tumango naman siya. She let out a long sigh.

Tinaasan niya ang kamay niya, putting all dark and destructive energy in her hand. The lands rumbled, and along came the thunders. Her black wings showed, and it almost covered the light from the portal.

She felt something stir her soul. Am I dying?

Various images came to her mind. Napasigaw siya dahil sa lakas ng enerhiya na nailalabas niya. She could hear the sound of the trees breaking, and the loud thunders.

Napapikit siya, at itinaas ang isa pang kamay. Naramdaman niyang nawawala na ang ilaw mula sa portal.

Finally, she let out all her magic out— hindi niya alam kung may natira pa.

Hindi niya rin alam kung nawawala na nga ba ang portal, or it was she that was losing consciousness.

Everything turned black. There were no more faint voices, all she heard was complete silence.

Did I destroy the portal? Am I dead? She asked in her inner thoughts.

She sighed, leaving all questions unanswered. Pakiramdam niya kailangan niya munang magpahinga. At naramadaman niya bigla na bumalik sa kaniyang kamay ang vine bracelet.
