Next Day

True to his word, Yoongi didn't tell his parents. He was just too scared. What if they disowned him? Kicked him out? Or even worse, hated him forever?

He shuddered at the thought of his own family hating him.

I can't tell them...

Obviously, it would come out sooner or later, but now was not the time.

The next day, despite being told not to, he went to class anyways so that his parents wouldn't get suspicious. Professor Kim was more than surprised to see Yoongi again so soon but didn't say anything about it until class was over, when he asked to see the young boy again.

"Back so soon, Yoongi?" He tried to smile in order to not make the younger more nervous than he already was. He had a basic idea of how Yoongi was, since he was childhood friends with his dad. Usually, he tried not to show favoritism between his students, but he couldn't help but to have a soft side for his best friend's son.

"I can't tell them. Can I keep coming? Just until I can tell them?"

"Of course. Take as long as you need."

"Thank you," he breathed out. He was so grateful for his professor giving him some time.

Or so he thought.

After Yoongi left that day, Professor Kim made a phone call to an old friend.

-later that day-

"Hey, sweetheart? We need to talk."

Mrs. Min paused for a second, then turned off the water and dried her hands.

"It's about Yoongi, isn't it?"

"You know?"

"I saw him."

"Hmm, well he needs a new laptop now."

"Let's go then."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope that wasn't too boring lol. They'll be getting the computer in the next chapter, don't worry (I'll try to update again before my usual time so we can hurry up and get to that part, but no promises!)

I welcome any and all comments or suggestions! Be honest!

Thanks for reading, guys, I really appreciate it. I didn't expect anyone to read this for a while, so it really means a lot to me <3
