As Aspenstone heard the words hit his ears he almost let out a sigh of frustration
"Littlestar,"He started,"I'd like to talk."
He saw anger flash in the toms icy-blue eyes.
"Fine, Aspenstone."The small black tail flickered,"Out please."Lilly nodded her gaze thoughtful and then she padded out.

He felt anger surge through him."Shes barely got rid of her kit pelt!"Littlestar blinked at him slowly and meowed,"Yes, I understand. But she's young.And we can teach her to be like us."Aspenstone paused for a little and gave a curt nod, though he didn't like it, Littlestar was right.It was for the good of the clans.

Littlestar blinked,"I'll make an announcement after she has made her decision."Aspenstone nodded and got up.Littlestar laid down curling up in a soft ball of fluff.He gazed slowly at the tom and felt emotion swell up inside of him but pushed it back and left the den.

He watched as Lilypaw and Lilly talked quietly.He flicked his ear and then padded up to them.Lilly looked up and dipped her head.Aspenstone purred,"Greetings,"He sat down neatly,"Are you thinking of Littlestar's offer?"

She gave a small purr,"Of course.I like it here.And I would love to stay."He was unaware of his gaze darkening,he mummered gently,"Wonder how SkyClan will say about that."

Lilly blinked and then got up with Lilypaw and padded off leaving him to his thoughts.He sighed deeply, he didn't want another fight.

Aspenstone looked up seeing morning light was burning his pelt, he got up and stretched until his paws trembled.His jaws parted in a massive yawn and he padded out of the den.He stared up at Littlestar and Lilly who were talking.Littlestar's eyes were bright, he blinked slowly.

Suddenly, his yowl filled the clearing and he paced up to the tree where he sat with the former orange kitty-pet.The rest of his clan-mates padded out.He felt his gaze harden as he looked for any injuries, ShadowClan cats always had been prideful.

Snowlily stares up at them,"Yes Littlestar?"
Littlestar twitched his whiskers happily,"Lilly will be joining the clan."Aspenstone looked around nervously he saw only happy faces on his clan-mates' faces.He sighed,"Will she change her name?"He called out.Lilly nodded,"I've taken it up with Littlestar.My new name will be Turtlepaw." He nodded as she carried on,"I need apprenticeship."

Littlestar nodded,"Your mentor will be Rainstream.He has the patience of lapping water of the lake.He will train you wisely."He watched Rainstream stand up his whiskers twitching proudly,"Of course Littlestar."He purred as his apprentice padded up to him and touched noses with him.

Turtlepaw padded up to Lilypaw and smiled,"I'll always remember my old name when I say your name."Her whiskers twitched in amusement and Lilypaw let out a mrrow of laughter.He purred, this could be nice.

Suddenly he heard the brambles rustle."Oh really Littlestar?" A toms voice filled his ear and he inhaled it hitting him like a stone on who the cat was,"You're taking this cat?Well, if so we'll fight for Turtlepaw."
