When I entered the Cafe I was hit by the sweet aroma of coffee. After greeted by the manager I was scanning the cafe for the sole reason I came here in the first place. 'Oh there he is' I thought seeing him sitting near the window, gazing towards it. He was looking so peaceful that I thought for a moment not to disturb him but I had to meet him. I was meeting him after a very long time. I had really missed him a lot. He was the one and only human being who really cared for me. I thanked the god for this blessing.

I went near his table but at first he didn't notice me. When I stood in front of him he turned around to face me. I smiled. His gaze met mine intently then a huge smile broke into his face, warming my cold, broken heart. A little.

August Miller's POV

I was checking my files in my office when my phone rang, I checked it and saw who was calling, it was Stacy.

"Hello Hun, how are you?" I asked while signing the papers.

"I'm fine. How are you? And Ash, Is he okay? When I was at home Mary told me he has a little fever but when I checked it was normal. Is he now okay?" she asked sounding really concerned about him.

"Yes he is fine now. Yesterday he had a really high fever so I had to call Takasuki. But now he is fine", I sighed.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry I- he- I mean it's my entire fault. I didn't paid attention. I'm so sorry. Please believe me I didn't know it'll be this big. I'm so s-"

"Shuhhh... It's not your fault. I know you'd never do that"

"I know I was neglecting him for quite a few months. You know I was thinking about that and I felt so bad. It's not that I was doing that purposely. Actually I was so busy and tensed with this project you know that right? I'm sorry I didn't tell you about leaving you were sleeping and I didn't had the heart to wake you up, you were looking so exhausted. Yesterday was really a hectic day. I didn't get time all day to call you and when I got at night I found your phone switched off", she kept on rambling. Oh that's why she was behaving like that.

"Aw don't worry about that. We are human being and it is okay to do some mistakes. And I know really well. You get too much nervous. Ash is fine now and yes I was angry with you for not informing me about you going to London but that was childish of me for switching off my phone. I'm sorry", I apologized sincerely.

"Please don't apologize, I perfectly understand baby."

"So how's the meeting? Everything fine?"

"Yes it was and I got the deal. YAY!" she yelled like a kid.

"Okay okay baby I'm doing some work right now. So call you later", I said smiling a little.

"Oh okay, I'll wait for your call and oh I'll come back the day after tomorrow"

"That's great. See you soon baby"

"Yeah, tell Ash that momma is so sorry and I love him so much. Miss you and ash too. Bye love you"

"Yeah I'll. And we miss you too. Bye". After that I cut the call. I felt like a jerk for not able to tell her that I love her because that'd be lying. She was really sweet, beautiful and kind but I couldn't fall in love with her and I knew she felt horrible, hell I myself felt so horrible. But I knew one day I'd definitely able to reciprocate her feelings.
