Crystal Valentine's POV

I walked into our office building holding my head high. When I entered every ones' head snapped towards me. This had become the new routine; girls glared at me and guys gawked. Same old boring routine. I didn't pay any attention to them and went straight to the private elevator. I sighed, and thought 'Why can't they just leave me alone'.

A little 'ding' brought me out of my depressing thoughts. I stepped out of the elevator and went straight towards my cabin. When I entered my cabin, father was already there, probably waiting for me.

"Again late!" he shouted, as soon as he saw me.

I sighed inwardly not wanting to anger him more thank he already was.

"Father it's only 8:02 in the morning", I said calmly looking at my watch.

"So What! I told you for the millionth time not to come late in this office. For God Sake Crystal! This is not some goddamned sex-party that you can do anything you want or like. This is my company and you girl, have to behave properly!" he angrily insulted me, as usual.

"I'm sorry. It won't happen again" I said calmly, but not meant it anyway.

"Yeah yeah whatever. Now I've got some major things to discuss with you"

"Sure, let's begin" I said in a professional tone.

"Crystal there are several companies wanted to do business with us", father said slightly smirking, obviously proud of himself. I mentally rolled my eyes at him but kept a straight face.

"Father I think Carson's will be best for this deal and I think it is the time that we can make good relationships with them" I paused for a second before carrying on "And as we all know that Thomas Carson is a living nightmare, if anyone get on his wrong side, they have the hell to pay. So, here is the best deal to make good relationship with him and his company"

"You are right about this. But I've to think more about this as you know this is really an important deal" he paused for some time with a thoughtful look on his face before continuing, "Alright, I'll think about it. And Crystal you've a meeting with the board members, so don't forget about it. It's very important and I won't be there to help you" he said, in a serious face and a tone.

"Indeed father, don't worry I'll be fine and I won't forget about it". More like I couldn't when you had been reminding me for like thousandth time a today.

"Alright. See you later" he said that before getting up, adjusting his suit and he went to his cabin. I sighed heavily as soon as my cabin door closed and sat in the chair, relaxing a little. The time was now 10 am and I still had 30 minutes to relax but I could't. I called Stephen, my P.A. through the intercom and told him to bring my coffee.

"Stephen, bring me a hot coffee right now", I cut the call without waiting for his for his respond. And within next five minutes there was a knock on my cabin door.

"Come in" I said.

Stephen stepped inside and gave me the hot black coffee. I moaned in satisfaction after taking a sip from it. When I turned to face Stephen, I saw him still standing their looking at me with lust clear in his eyes. I felt disgusted but kept a straight face.

"Stephen do you need anything?"I asked calmly.

"Umm, No" he thought before answering my question.

"Then why are you standing here like a lost puppy. Don't you have any work to do, as I know we don't pay you for starring at me".

"Uh..., Y-Yes" his was stuttered while answering; good I liked that effect on people.

"Then go and do that, don't just stand around here starring at people. You certainly don't get paid for that"

"Y-Yes", he said trembling and stuttering, and then he literally ran out of the office. I didn't really hate him but he really irritated me sometimes, so much that I couldn't help but to snap at him. Poor Stephen, he had an arrogant boss like me. And I really didn't give a shit.

After doing some paper work I went straight to the meeting with Stephen hot on my heals. I was dreading inside but I was neutral outside as I knew, it was required dealing with these sharks. I entered the meeting room thanking the God that I'm not late.

"Good morning everyone", I said before sitting on my chair. They wished a good morning nonchalantly. And it began!

After 4 hours

The meeting was a disaster. But I was happy on the other hand, that other than insulting me indirectly they all did agree with me in the end. It was simple, they didn't like me and neither did I, so the feelings were mutual.

So what I had slept with many men. I did that for fun and obviously they were willing to participate in that fun game. I didn't drag them in to it. And I had never did 'it' with the men who were already in relationship as it would be little harmful for my health as you know possessive girlfriends can be really scary sometimes. Trust me I had experienced that a few times unfortunately though I was not in fault. I didn't know they were cheating on their partners with me. Those cheating bastards!

I was so engrossed in my weird chain of thoughts that when my phone rang, I literally jumped out in fear.

When I saw who was calling me a small smile escaped my lips.

"Hello"

"Hello darling, Can you meet me today?"

"Umm... okay, same place?" I asked looking at my watch.

"Yeah. We'll meet at 1. Okay?

"Yeah, that's okay with me, bye"

"Bye, see you later"

That was the only man in world who loved me truly
