"I think the gods were on our side when Bradley's nose bled today." Primrose hummed as she examindd the coin she held in her hand. "Probably Athena or Aphrodite."

"Athena or Aphrodite?" Syd rose her eyebrows, "Like the Roman goddess?"

"Greek, actually." Primrose hummed, flipping the coin. "I bet it's heads.. It's heads."

Syd shook her head as Primrose continued to flip the coin.

"Oh, hey, Syd! Primrose!" Primrose and Syd stopped in their tracks. Primrose turned her head, grinning as the boy rushed up to them excitedly. She continued to mindlessly flip her coin as he came to a stop in front of them.

"My sweet Stanley!" Primrose grinned, handing him the coin. "Keep this. I have two thousand one hundred fifty seven more pennies and one thousand nine hundred twenty two dimes and five hundred fifty five nickles and nine hundred thirty one quarters all in seperate jars."

Syd sighed, shaking her head as Primrose pulled another coin from her pocket. Stan grinned, taking the coin from her hand as he placed his sunglasses on his head. "Cool, thanks. Oh, one second. My leg fell asleep."

Primrose grinned, flipping her coin as she watched Stanley stretch out his legs. "Tails.. Yes, tails. You should try yoga."

"Noted. Can I walk with you both?" Stanley slipped the coin into his pocket.

"Why not?" Syd shrugged, "You cool with that, Prim?"

"Of course, there's always room for more friends in my life. Come along my sweet Stanley." Primrose grinned, spinning in a circle before walking forward.

"Co-Cool." Stanley stammered, nodding to himself. "Cool."

Syd looked down at his bare feet. "You okay?"

"Shoes.. Who needs them?" Stan laughed, shrugging.

"Very smart outlook on life, Sweet Stanley." Primrose paused, bending over and unlacing her boots and pulling them off before tossing them into the ditch. "I like the way you think, my sweet Stanley."

Stanley smiled to himself, "Thank you, Rose."

"It's Primrose, Stanley." Syd corrected.

"Oh, dear Sydney. He can call me Rose if he wants to.. Names don't really mean anything, in the end anyways." Prim shrugged, swinging her arm back and forth. Syd sighed, nodding to herself as she stared at her feet.

"So, blood witch, am I right?" Stanley folded his hands together as he looked around at the sky.

Primrose gasped, skipping around Syd and placing her hands on Stanley's chest to stop him in his place. "Blood witch?"

"What?" Syd stopped furrowing her eyebrows.

"Blood with.. like the music."

"I love it." Primrose sighed dreamily, her hands slipping from Stanley's chest as she spun in a circle and stopped beside him.

"That's a terrible name for a band."

"Nah.." Stanley shook his head. "Perfect."

"Bet they sound like shit."

"Well, I'm.. I have- I have them on VINYL.." Stanley said slowly. "Limited edition? Eight fold and stuff.. if you wanna come over and we can listen some time."

"You do?" Primrose tilted her head, "That's nifty. We should listen together and I can braid your hair."

Stanley glanced at her, knitting his eyebrows. The corner of his lips turned into a smile as he nodded his head. "Cool.."

"Oh.." Syd shook her head, "Uh, I don't-"

"We can get high?"

"I've never been high.." Primrose hummed, raising her arms and spinning in a circle around them

"She's sober now?" Stanley whispered to Syd, furrowing his eyebrows. "Like, right now? She's not high?"

"Yup." Syd noddedd her head, "Completely sober."

"Well, I mean.. You don't have to. I was just- I was just.. suggesting.. We you know.. We live so close and we've never really hung out before."

Syd awkwardly glanced at Primrose, who had set her attentions on a bird. "Hello, birdie."

A scream left her lips and she fell backwards as the bird bit her finger. "Ouchies.. ouchies to the max."

"You okay?" Stan tilted his head, watching as she pushed herself off of the ground

"I've been bitten by nature. Probably a Globnorg in disguise." She hummed, swinging her arms back and forth as she swayed to the tune of there she goes.

"The what-"

"Don't get her started, please." Syd huffed, "She talked to me about it for three hours straight last night."

"I'll tell you later." Primrose grinned, "Hope you believe in other worldly creatures."

"I do.." Stanley nodded in confirmation.

"Oh, dear lord." Syd murmured, shaking her head and sighing.

"Tails." Primrose suddenly exclaimed, startling Stanley.

"What?" Stanley turned his head to look at Primrose. "Tails."

Syd inhaled deeply, closing her eyes. "Her coin."

"My coin." Primrose raised her hand to reveal it. "It landed on tails.. I was right.. again. I think it's the goddess Tyche and her intuition just... melding with mine."

"Tyche?" Stanley pulled the coin from his pocket to look at it. "Who's that?"

"Stanley, no-"

"She's the goddess of luck and prosperity. In the mythology of classic Greek, she's Aphrodite and Zeus's daughter.. kind of strange because Aphodite is considered to be Zeus and Dione's daughter. But also we're all technically related if you go back far enough, and if we're talking biblically, we all came from Adam and Eve so-" Primrose stared at the sky as she spoke, not even notcing that Syd had walked away. Stanley watched Primrose with a smile, he thought it was cool that she knew so much about mythology.

"Prim." Syd interrupted, holding a flower in her hand.

"Yes, dear Sydney?" Primrose turned her, her eyes flickering down to her hands.

"Here's a flower." Primrose gasped, excitedly taking the flower from Syd's hands.

"Thanks!" She raised the flower to block out the sun as she examined the details of the petals. "So.. are we going to hang out with him or?"

"Uh, sure. Yeah, maybe we should." Syd nodded, pursing her lips. Stanley grinned, bouncing on the balls of his feet and nodding his head excitedly.

"Yeah? Cool.. Uh, let me know.." Stanely flipped the coin as he backed away.

"Heads."

"It's heads."

Primrose looked down the flower, letting her arm fall as Stanley slipped on his sunglasses and walked away. She sighed, sticking the flower behind her ear as she began to spin to the beat of the song again.

"What a world we live in, Sydney, Primrose."

"I love him." Primrose looked from Stanley back to her, mindlessly flipping the coin and catching it as she spun. Syd furrowed her eyebrows, looking at the girl as she abruptly stopped to watch Stanley walk away.

"What?" Syd took a double take as she scanned Primrose's face.

"I love him." Primrose repeated, shrugging.

"No."
