━━━━ hollyhockfang is the type of cat to play with his food. he can often be found torturing prey - a typical cat behaviour - but for him, he gets a lot of joy out of watching them struggle and panic under his grasp.

━━━━ his mother was a kittypet and she classed hollyhock as one as well. they never lived in a 'house'. they lived out in the garden, alongside a large dog.

━━━━ the large dog that occupied the garden that he and his mother lived in killed his fighter, lighttalon, when he ventured in to ask if they wanted to return to camp with him.

━━━━ a slight fear of canines developed following his fathers death, seeing as he witnessed the whole thing and watched as his father slowly, and painfully, died to the canine. he tried to keep said fear on the down low, not wanting to seem weak.

━━━━ he had four siblings: but daisy didn't like the fact that they had fur and patterns similar to his dad, and she abandoned them. she hated them.

━━━━ hollyhock had only heard horrible stories of his father, so he was confused to see that he wanted to bring them into a clan.

━━━━ daisy eventually gave up with caring for hollyhock. he wasn't a kitten anymore, and didn't rely on her for milk. she walked him away from their garden and abandoned him on the clan's territory where he was later found and picked up by a patrol, he stayed in the medicine den for a few nights before being given his apprentice name.

━━━━ daisy likely had postpartum depression, and this is the reasoning for the abandonment of the other kits in the litter, and then later the abandonment of hollyhock.

━━━━ he enjoys training apprentices. it's fun, and he gets to teach others all sorts of things. he has good relationships with his apprentices, most of the time.

━━━━ he wants to be a father one day.
