chapter two - "Want me to stab an arrow to his door?"

"I'm confused, are you psychic or clairvoyant?" Caroline asked as her, Bonnie and Clem walked inside the school hall. "Technically, Grams says I'm a witch. My ancestors were these really cool Salem witch chicks or something. Grams tried to explain it all, but she was lopped on the liquor so I kinda tuned out." Bonnie explained.

"Hey they say drunk words are sober thoughts," Clem said walking behind the two.

"Crazy family, yes. Witches? I don't think so,"

"Yeah, well, feel free to conjure up the name and number of mystery man from last night." Clem said smiling.

"I didn't see him,"

"Our Clementine finally over leather jacket?" Caroline teased making her to roll her eyes.

"Why didn't you just talk to him?" Bonnie asked. "I did actually, but one moment he was there next gone and Vickie Donovan has her throat ripped out." She explained as they continued to walk down the hall.

The four girls sat at a table outside, after school. "Well, I was talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death. So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity." Bonnie explained.

"Yeah, and then you poured Grams another shot and she told you about the aliens."

"Caroline," Clem warned.

"So then what?" Caroline asked turning back to Elena. "So then nothing," She said. "You and Stefan talked all night? There was no sloppy first kiss or touchy feely of any kind?"

"Nope, we didn't go there."

"Not even a handshake?" Caroline said making Clem give her a confused look. "I mean, Elena, we are your friends. Ok? You are supposed to share the smut."

"We just talked for hours."

"Ok, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already! Ok it's easy. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex." She explained.

"Profound," Elena said before realizing something and starting getting up.

"Where are you going?" The Lightwoods girl ask.

"Caroline's right, it is easy, if I sit here long enough I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying I was going to do."

"Go get him girl," Clem said smirking lightly as Elena walked away leaving the three girls happy knowing Elena was finally doing okay.

"Your telling me my bedtime story tonight right, Clem?" Millie asked.

"Nope monkey, Mack is," Clem replied as Millie walked up to Mack who was sitting right next to her and dragged her upstairs. Leaving Pure, Clem and Michael alone in the kitchen.

"Are you going to the thing tomorrow?" Pure asked looking at her daughter who nodded her mouth finishing the food in her mouth. "Yeah, Caroline would hang me out to dry if I didn't."

"You still going to bring a-"

"Yes Dad I already know where to hid a stake," She said cutting him off earning a look from his wife.

"Hey, I just want our baby girl to be safe."

"I know and that's why I love you," She said before finishing up and going to bed.

"He didn't call, huh?"

"Or text?"

"Want me to stab an arrow to his door?" Clem asked sneaking up behind the two girls handing out flyers.

"No Clem, I realized we never even exchanged that stuff. We've never gotten to the texting part." Elena said still handing out flyers. "That's an important milestone in any relationship." Bonnie added. "Isn't it?" Elena asked smiling, "The timing is wrong, anyway."

"When is it ever right?" Clem asked moving the stake she hid behind her back.

"I'm not ready, Clem,"

"Who is?" Bonnie added.

"At least I put myself out there." She said. "Is that what you're calling it?" Bonnie asked. "What do you mean?" She asked looking down. "All I'm hearing is reasons why you can't." Bonnie said making Elena realize what she was getting at.

It was now dark as the three girls held their unlit candles in hand. "Hey, I got some candles," Caroline said handing Bonnie one. The girls than went over to where Matt and Tyler. Tyler lit Caroline and Bonnie's candle. And Clem nudged Caroline and had her lit her's.

She didn't listen to whatever conversation was going on she just looked up at the sky and saw the comet.

For once she wasn't nervous or scared but she was happy. And didn't mind being variable for just a second. That's when it his her she hadn't taken her meds. She nudged Caroline lightly, "I'll be right back,"

"Okay,"

She than went towards the grill and went up to bar, "Can I get a water please?" She asked getting a nodded from the bartender.

"So we meet again,"

She looked over seeing the familiar raven hair guy with piercing blue eyes. The same one from the party. "So we do," She said smiling lightly. "You here for the comet?"

"Yes and no," He said making her tilt her head slightly. "I wanted to see you okay,"

She smiled, "Really?" she asked not understanding why a hot guy would be interested in her.

"Yeah," He said leaning in closer to her, "I was hoping you would get out of here with me?" He asked staring into her eyes.

She blinked, looking down, "Uh, I can't." She said seeing the bartender place the water in front of her.

"Clem!" Caroline called waving towards her.

She let out a sigh, "And that is my cue," She said grabbing the water. "See you around," She said smiling before leaving.

"Alright you is that?" Caroline asked hooking her arm. "That hot guy from the party," Clem said as the two walked to a booth. "Name?" This made Clem look down, "Damn it, I didn't ask," She said mentally beating herself up.

"Hey, being that hot does things to someone," She said smiling at the girl.

"Hey, has anyone seen Vickie?"

"You're her stalker, you tell us."

"I can't find her," Jeremy insisted. "She probably found somebody else to party with. Sorry, pill pusher I guess you've been replaced." Tyler said.

"What's with Pill Pusher?" Elena asked.

"Ask him," He replied nudging his head towards Jeremy. "You wanna do this right now?"

"Are you dealing?" She asked.

"She's never gonna go for you," Tyler said getting a sarcastic smirk. "She already did, over and over and over again." Jeremy replied making Clem face gave a small surprised look. "Yeah, right."

"You slept with Vickie Donovan? I mean, Vickie Donovan slept with you?" Caroline said. "Car," Clem warned knowing she would ended up saying to much.

"There's no way," Tyler insisted.

"And I didn't even have to force her into it." Jeremy said.

"What the hell is he talking about, Ty?" Matt asked turning towards him. "Nothing man, just ignore him he's a punk."

"You know what, how about all of you shut up and help me find my sister?" Matt said. "We'll check the back," Bonnie said.

"I'll check the square," Matt said.

"I'll come with you." Jeremy said only to get stoped by Elena. "Oh, no, no, no. Clementine you go with Matt." She said as Clem nodded walking with Matt.

The two walked out into the square scanning the area around. "Hey," Clem heard Matt say making her look to see Stefan in front of them.

"Hey,"

"Have you seen my sister?" He asked. "No, sorry," He said shaking his head. "I can't find her," He said as Clem crossed her arm's wishing her jacket was warmer. "That's just it no one can, she's missing." She added.

Stefan looked down for a moment, "I'll keep an eye out for her." He said turning around.

"Hey," Matt said getting his attention again getting a confused look from the Lightwood girl. "I saw you at the hospital yesterday."

"Did you?"

"What were you doing there?"

He waited a moment before replying, "Visiting."

"Visiting?" Matt repeated. "You know, Elena and I, we've known each other for long time. We might not be together right now, but I look out for her. And I'll always look out for her."

Stefan's head tilted a bit as if he was listen to something. "Excuse me," He said before walking off.

"That was weird," Clem muttered seeing Matt's face looked like her's.

"Hey I never thank you for the other night." He said as Clem shrugged it off, "Right place, right time." She said.

"How'd you even know what to do?" He asked looking down at her.

"My mom worked at a daycare before having us, and she had to take a bunch of first-aid classes. Taught me everything," She said as he hugged her. "Well thank you,"

They were know back at the grill as Stefan had found Vickie. Matt was standing next to her as Clem was checking her wound.

"She said you found her wandering around." Matt said as Clem saw Stefan.

"Yeah,"

"So, um, thanks." He said.

"Okay, your neck is gunna be even more sore but I would still make sure to get them checked out." Clem said standing up. "Thanks," Vickie said before Clem walked over towards Caroline and Bonnie at a neighbouring table.

"Ever notice how the druggies are the biggest attention whores?"

"Well Caroline when you get your throat ripped out I will give you all the attention in the world." She said sitting down.

"Excuse, hi," Stefan said making Clem turn around. "Um, have you guys seen Elena?"

"I think she went home."

He nodded before going to walk off as Clem quickly grabbed his jacket, stopping him. "I'm gonna give you Elena's cell and email." She said writing Elena's number on a random napkin. "She is big on texting, and you can tell her..I said so,"

"Thank you," He said as she handed the paper to Bonnie, making sure she got it right. And Bonnie handed it to him only for her to quickly let go and stare at him.

"You ok?"

"What happened to you?" She asked before shaking her head, "That's so rude. I'm sorry, excuse me." She said before walking off.

"Yeah, she kind of wigs out. It's like her thing." Caroline said.
