Tʜᴇ ʟᴏɴɢ ᴛʀɪᴘ - Rʏᴀɴ
Being bisexual is hard. Especially when you're in a family full of straight people. Sure, they understand, love, and support you, but don't get it when you try talking about Simon Curtis as if he were a god, and also don't understand when you do not want to play football. All my life I've been wanting to fit in, and when someone talks about a camp to help you with that, everything is blown out of the water. So which is why I packed my bags before-hand.
"Uuuhh, Lil' bro?" Victoria called before I could sneak out and head out the door our older brother's car. I sighed. I had been caught. "Yes Vic?" I asked her quietly, since our parents, and our older brother, aren't very heavy sleepers and it was quite late. I didn't want my brother to know, or really anyone in my family to know that I was sneaking out to go the summer camp.
"Where in the hell are you going, with Jay's keys, and bags full of clothes and stuff?" Victoria responded, narrowing her eyes at me, and putting a hand on her hip. "T-To thee... umm... gas station!" I lied horribly, stumbling on my words. She rolled her eyes, "With clothes and stuff?" "Shit..." I muttered. "Yeah loser, good try, but tell me where you're actually going?" She chuckled.
"To a summer camp.... for lgbtqa+ people... to get them 'fixed' to not be in the pride community....." I sighed. "Okay, okay, I won't say a word...." Victoria paused. "You're gonna say 'if' aren't yo-" "If you let me come with you." She had a shit-eating grin. "But you aren't even b-bisexual, o-or asexual, or even t-transgender!" I stammered.
"I don't care now, do I? Now are you gonna take the fucking offer, or do you want me to either wake our parents or Jay?" She hissed. "I-I'll take the offer! Jeez..." I sighed. Victoria smiled, "Alright, wait here Ryan lemme go get some stuff of my own." She went up the stairs. Like a good brother, I waited, because I knew she wouldn't hesitate to wake up Jay right now if I didn't.

She finally came back downstairs, but with only a makeup bag and a plainer bag. I sighed, "Let's get out of here before they realize we're gone." "Agreed, lil' bro." She said, taking the keys from me. "Hey-" "Don't even! You. Are. Fifteen! I am Seventeen! Plus I have a license!" Victoria said, unlocking Jay's car and getting in the driver's seat.
She was right. I grumbled a bit before getting in the passenger seat and putting my bags in the back seat. Victoria started up the car, "So, do you have directions?" "Yeah..." I said, pulling out my phone. " 'Ight let's gooo!" She cheered, driving us out of the driveway.
This, was going to be a long trip. I sighed, pulling out my phone, putting my earphones in, and started playing a song from Simon Curtis (if you can't tell he's my favorite artists): Diablo. Victoria seemed to notice, and rolled her eyes, following Siri's directions on where to go. I soon fell asleep, being the one I am.
