I sit down. Gimli is keeping a far distance from my father. I cannot blame him. My father was overly too cruel to the dwarfs since that day Erabor fell. I was there when he turned his back. I remember everything. The silence in the air is think and tightening like a python.
"Thranduil, I've said this before no matter how many you kill, they will come back. We must find the source." Radagast says
"I would not risk the endangerment of my people." Father says.
I look at Aragorn. I think he knows how unsettling this is.
"It is nothing if not that your people are already endangered." Gandalf says.
"Father listen to them." I say.
"I have stated the fact Legolas." He looks at me.
I lower my head.
"I'd say Gandalf is right. Since when are your thoughts good o wise king Thranduil." Gimli huffs.
Father turns a sour eye. Oh god, this can't be good. Gimli I know you hate my father and all but this isn't the best way to display your anger.
"And what does a dwarf know of thinking?" Father asks.
"Everyone please. We all but much to discuss." Gandalf says.
Thank you for putting an end to this madness. I let out a breath. I feel like this dinner is going to feel like an eternity. I pull my hair back.
